Hello there. I'm very glad that you liked my recommendation. I was also surprised when I tried to watch Princess Connect! Re:Dive when it's 2nd season finished. I hope you will have a fruitful 2024 and more good anime to watch. Cheers!

Hello! Just letting everyone who made requests know that all Bunkasai signatures, Colorful cards, and any extras made have been completed and are available for pickup (in case you didn't get the notification). 😊🎉 Backup albums were also added there so your graphics should always be available. And the Colorful cards make great mobile wallpapers anyone can use. There's many characters available for them- I've been using this Yuno one 🥰️

Colorful Cards: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2118567
Bunkasai Signatures: https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2118354

If anyone needs help with installing signatures and adding a link to the image (you can link it to a page with your Bunkasai collection!), I have a recorded guide here. More designing info and help in our club stickies.

Thanks for participating in the Bunkasai, you helped make it a big success 🙏

Valkyrie Drive is so lewd. I've been watching with no censoring and it's like, worse than any of the ecchi shows I've seen lately. More controversial to me since it's yuri and involves lots of kissing, groping, and well, that kind of stuff. Girls even need to be sexually aroused in order to transform into weapons lol. I've watched tons of stuff like this before but they were your usual ecchi/harem with a male protagonist. There's no male figures on Valkyrie Drive at all, so it's kind of yooo what are you dooooing but yeah. Can't say I don't like it.

Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou it's a silly spin-off of the main series. The same protagonists, same voice actors, similar premise... but instead of killing titans, they go to school and yeah, lots of comedy elements are throwed here and there, for example, the characters over-exaggerate the personalities of the ones in the real 'Shingeki no Kyojin' series. Short story: it's a parody full of comedy that you can watch only if you loved SnK, the main series and would like to see the characters on a different setting. Otherwise, it will either annoy you, or bore you.

Oh, I think there's a lot of new stuff to watch, but a lot of sequels as well. Like Noragami Aragoto, Gochuumon wa Usagi desu ka, Owari no Seraph, Haikyuu, K: Return of Kings, Owarimonogatari, Maou no Testament Burst, Yuru Yuri, Diabolik Lovers, it's actually quite a lot?

Indeed Toradora! it's a good modern classic. If you don't like tsundere girls, her personality might be a bit unbearable at first, but keep watching it's absolutely necessary. It gets 90% better on the second half, the heart-breaking drama comes in, an unexpected plot twist, cliffhangers and yeah... Toradora it's definitely worth the watch.

That's the main reason why I disliked the 'about me at the top' thing. Visit a profile and first thing you see is about me section with tons and tons of images, never-ending loading images... It stresses me out. I like that we can add 10 favorites now for every category though. The new affinity feature it's nice as well.
I was talking about that with a friend, if only we could move sections around as we like... it would have been a nice improvement.

I see. I'm glad you're still into anime though! This season has been cool. I'm enjoying shows like One Punch Man, second season of Haikyuu, Valkyrie Drive (surprisingly) and Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou so far. Not too many good shows for what I've seen...
From the past season, I freaking loved Charlotte, Prison School and Shimoneta. I had a blast. Hope you manage to catch up soon!

Ohh yes. I became a mom and a full-time stressed one, lol. I had a girl! I was so happy when I got to take her in my arms. I'm gonna teach her the anime ways, hahaha! I've been traveling a lot, and working, everything along with taking care of my daughter. My mom helps a lot with taking care of her when I need to go out. But it has been fine, I still manage to watch my precious shows and play videogames. I kind of put my career on hold-on because I couldn't quite make it, working, going to college and taking care of my kid at the same time wasn't possible. Luckily I'm continuing on March next year though!

Thanks, I hope you're doing fine too :) Btw, what do you think about MAL's new profile design? I didn't quite like how our 'about me' section is at the top now.

Yooo Dako, how are you? It's been a long long time!
Still busy catching up with shows? :p
ShiroiKishi- Jan 12, 2015 3:31 AM
Hey Dako, yeah winter holidays were alright, back to education now, I had a good Christmas and a new year! Hope you did as well?

Nice I enjoyed UBW, Parasyte and ABS too as well but UBW is def one of my all time top ones and it was a great remastered adaptation! ^^ I think Shigatsu and P-P S2 is also in my top ones for the prev season and I'm looking forward to JoJo, A/Z S2, Durarara S2 and a few others too! ^^ how about you?

Haha, I still have a massive backlog to finish from last season so I guess the both of us have some catching up to do, hehe. :3

Belated Happy New Year to you too! :D

(Sorry for my delayed reply this time!)
Ah, good to know Summer season brought the excitement for anime back to you! I can do nothing but agree with you, I thought the animation in Zankyou no Terror was exceptionally beautiful, plus, we got an interesting plot! Though I was really sad at the death of the main characters, well, i never expected a happy ending from that kind of show anyway.

The main reason why I started watching Glasslip was because people was calling it "the next Nagi no Asukara", I loved that show so of course it placed my hopes high. To put it easily; it ended up being alarmingly empty and boring. If I have to think of an appropriate adjective for Glasslip it would be "detestable". Not any of the characters is likeable nor can they be taken seriously. The characters are fairly typical, plain and dull, they have nothing interesting to contribute, besides being quite bland in their reactions and thoughts, so they totally fail in moving the audience with it. The shows is full of absurd situations and banal comments, they create random 'drama' scenes but you never ever get an explanation, or answer so you can understand what the hell was going on. In Glasslip, nothing ever made sense to me, It's pretentious in its cheap melodrama. It's pretty hard for me to "hate" an anime, but I think this was an exception.

I think the first expectations I had on SAO II went downhill in the second episode. Of course, I was pretty curious to see Sinon animated, however, there was something I absolutely didn't like. At first, Sinon is a skilled sniper, able to overcome bouts with great skill. However, after meeting with Kirito, her importance is gradually declining. Showing lower ability as a sniper, not being able to be in control of the situations, as if from contacting with Kirito, her importance was gradually decreasing until gaining the secondary role of "another girl for Kirito's harem".
And the worst: I was horribly pissed at how much sexualized she was. I mean, was that even necessary? I really don't mind fanservice, i'm pretty much used to it and I like it. But this was different, they were trying too hard to put Sinon as an erotic figure to Kirito's eyes. Also, those Kirito x Sinon moments annoyed the hell out me, did Kirito even remember he had a girlfriend called Asuna? Don't know, I ended up the first cour of Sword Art Online II feeling pretty upset to be honest. Though the arc we're seeing now is redeeming for the whole show. I'm actually having fun with Asuna, and her new friends.

Oh Psycho-Pass is amazing. I think it was one of the most expected shows for Fall season. We're not getting Kougami it seems, I miss him! But I love the fact now the show is almost full focused on Akane (who I truly love). She's even more beautiful and badass now! The new characters are interesting though I hate Mika, her attitude towards Akane is kind of pathetic to me. The animation has been preserved in its style, which it is a nice point for this second seson. I agree with you with Parasyte and Shingeki no Bahamut, Amagi Brilliant Park and Gugure! Kokkuri-san.
Parasyte is interesting (a lot actually) and I enjoy hearing Migi talk. Hirano Aya does a great job. Kokkuri-san is totally fun. And Amagi Brilliant Park has my favorite girl from this season; Isuzu Sento. So yeah, though I don't find this season as amazing as the past one, I'm enjoying quite a decent amount of shows.

To be honest, from the first to the last episode, Fate/Zero it is pretty essential to me, and although I'm not immune to its flaws and I miss the further development of some characters and plots, I think is one of the best anime reuniting fantasy and action. Since the first time I watched it, I have seen very few shows who can rival it. It has a fantastic animation imo, and the script is very slow and measured at its inception, that's second more striking point. For once the story doesn't rush or try to move as quickly as possible, but it cares very much to introduce ourselves to each one of the characters (for us to start loving them and end up crying, lol). in detail, showing little by little what to expect from each one of them. I love fate/zero too much, that I probably don't even have time to care about its flaws, specially the second season haha! What about you? do you like it? Do you hate it? neutral? I would like to read your opinion.

Thank you very much! Yes, I'm fine with everything. My holidays starts in December 5th and the final exams are already finished so yeah, i'm super free from that now haha, still working though.
Oh there's eight people working on my scanlation group. A Japanese, an italian, two chineses, two americans, and two latinos (me and a friend of mine who lives in Japan.) We translate and clean all kind of manga as long as it's not licensed, if it is, we drop it inmediately. We split the work. My friend who lives in Japan, and me, translate Yaoi/BL works. The Japanese and both american guys translate Shounen/Shoujo/Josei/Romace/Comedy and whatever other genre it comes. The rest of the guys, do the cleaning, editing and re-drawing. They also help to translate when it's necessary. We run a blog also so, having eight people is so helpful.
That's pretty much our job in the scanlation, it might sounds hard but it's actually fun and interesting experience.
Have you watched Akatsuki no Yona yet? You should! Well, you have already picked up the most 'relevant' shows for this season, so I think is fine for now, I hope you can keep up to date with them. Did you finish playing Katawa Shoujo? How was it? I've been searching for VN to play recently but I just can't find something who catches my attention.

Haha! I'm just a disturbingly organized person. I have an agenda and a schedule that I like to follow. I also keep track of things I need to do on listography so yeah, that's why I manage to do lots of things in a little time! Have a nice week :)
ShiroiKishi- Oct 27, 2014 6:32 AM
Hey Dako, long time no see! :D Life is alright, been very busy lately, how about you?

Ah that's fine don't worry about it. Oh nice so you started Accountancy! How is that going? Haha that design course must have been very difficult for you.

Cool, what sort of shows are you looking forward to? Yeah off course, you know how to find me and I'm free to talk whenever! xD
busan Oct 25, 2014 10:32 AM
Hey there! It's been a long time... 8 months I think? Really long time, I understand, that's why I didn't write any message at your wall in all this time, I figured out you may be busy or taking care of real life business. I also take my summer (January-February) time to hang out with friends and do other no-anime-related things, that's why, it's totally fine. I'm super happy you're back though, I've been missing these long and pleasant conversations with you!

I see, that happens quite often. I think the last time I felt tired from watching anime was three years ago. I spent like two seasons only watching two or three shows because they weren't interesting enough to pick up more. I'm glad your interest in anime is intensifying again with this season. Despite being busy, I didn't hold myself back when this season just started, my list has grown long for the same reason. I'm loving the shows airing this time, but I still miss the ones from the Summer season. Stuff like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Aldnoah.Zero, Ao Haru Ride, Zankyou no Terror and Akame ga Kill. Glad Akame ga Kill! is still airing. Of course I had some disappointments like Glasslip, Re: Hamatora, and the first cour of Sword Art Online. I think it was my fault for having such high expectatives. I see you have yet shows to pick up but, are you interested in any? How are you enjoying this season so far?

Yeah, I'm in semi-hiatus but feel free to write anytime you want! Being busy doesn't prevent me from check out MAL daily. It's definitely never a bad time to talk, haha!
My life has been okay, better than expected. University's last exams are going smoothly, and projects too. Lately I've been working as a tutor, and lab researcher, which consumes a looot of my time, but I get paid so it's okay for now. Also, I'm pregnant, and people has been telling me to quite at least one of the jobs to stop myself from accumulating too much stress, but I'm not planning to. At least not for the next four months. I'm having fun in the lab, the people I work with is interesting so...
I've been playing a ridiculous amount of games brought by my uncle from US. I think I have 12 games to play yet. Running a scanlation group, playing basketball. The amount of activities per day has increased but it's definitely more fun now. How has been your life so far? Everything's okay? Thank you, I hope things are going fine with you as well and sorry for the long message, i had to, haha!
Hidden_Joker Mar 9, 2014 5:24 AM
holy shit it's been forever.
ShiroiKishi- Mar 6, 2014 8:47 AM
Hey, it's been a while.

I see that you completed Seitokai Yakuindomo, how did you find it? Hope things are going well for your job too.
jackitsu Mar 3, 2014 5:24 PM
Thanks! I've been so busy trying to adjust I just haven't had time for anything. I do love living in California, but the adjustment is also pretty hard and stressful, moving somewhere and having to learn everything all over again (like, holy crap, what do you do in an earthquake? o.o)

Now things are settling down a little bit and I can get back to my wonderful distractions like video games and anime and all that. :) My anime backlog is so out of control I might have to delete some stuff to make room on my hard drive. I don't keep much after I watch it once but the few things I have are in danger! :P Or, you know, it's time to do some serious marathoning of series. :)

How have you been? :D
busan Feb 9, 2014 11:42 AM
Ohh thank you. I'm really glad you had fun! You know, it's pretty nice when Christmas and New Year complete your expectations. Oh yes! I got my PS4 finally, I was so happy about it, you can't even imagine. I didn't see that coming, I had no idea that my father kept it for me. Also I got some games for it; Battlefield 4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Watch Dogs, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. I just have played Battlefield 4 so far, now that I'm back home again, I'll start with the other games. What about you? Did you get any nice presents, may I ask?

My trip to Tokyo was amazing in every sense. I visited lots of beautiful places and I met lots of great people. Probably the best holidays I've ever had. Haha yes, you're right. That was one of the strongest reasons to visit Japan. I tried to buy as much anime and manga as I could. Some figures, magazines, music and stuff. Well, it was expensive but probably I'm not going back to Tokyo in the next 3 years, so... I had to. Also I met some seiyuus, Tsubasa Yonaga, Mamoru Miyano, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Daisuke Hirakawa and Tatsuhisa Suzuki, the guys from Free! at the past event. I could also have a friendly greeting from Kana Hanazawa and Ai Kayano. The last two are really beautiful women. I was delighted at the kindness and cuteness of them. Specially Kayano-san. So pretty.

I look forward to read your blog again when you rewrite, then! This season has lots of shows, I was hesitant about picking every single one of them but I guess I did. I would better call Nagi no Asukara, "Nagi no Feels" don't you think so? I've been dropping tears in every episode. Don't know if I'm sensitive or it's seriously touching. Same with Golden Time, they make me feel in a roller coaster of emotions. I had my otp's, of course (and I really wish they would end up together) but the couples I love on Nagi no Asukara doesn't fit at all, they probably won't end up together, and it's sad so I may assume I'll be expectedly dissapointed at the end. I'm ready for that. Do you have any couple that you prefer in this shows? Or what are you expecting about them?

I really like Hamatora, Noragami, Nisekoi and Chunibyou Ren too.
Hamatora, Nisekoi and Noragami have amazing openings.
I enjoy Noragami because of Yukine, I think. He's one of my favorite characters, not only I like his voice, but his development. Yato it's a nice character, and Hiyori it's average to me. She's beautiful and cute but simple.
Nisekoi leads to harem, and I really don't want that. It would be kind of dissapointing because it has nice characters, a pretty enviroment to finally destroy everything with a harem. I personally prefer Kirisaki over Onodera. But I actually think Onodera it's beautiful and it's too good for Raku.
Chuunibyou 2 it's beautiful. Jealous Rikka on this season got me going crazy, she's too cute. At the first episode I was kind of skeptical about this, it didn't looks as good as the first season. Now my point of view is slowly changing.
My favorites from this season are Hamatora The Animation, Nobunagun and Hoozuki no Reitetsu.
I'm loving Hoozuki no Reitetsu which it's not a big show, it doesn't have an amazing plot BUT it's funny as hell. I have so much fun in every episode, I haven't laugh this hard in a long time, really. I'm enjoying Z/X: Ignition, Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta, Sakura Trick and Space☆Dandy a lot too.
Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta has a lot of drama on it. Two not recognized enemies falling in love. Interesting.
Space☆Dandy it's funny and kind of different. Like an anime series from the '80. Dandy it's a good guy, but at the same time, a terribly perverted person. Haha. Traveling around the universe hunting aliens must be fun.

I'm loving this season, a lot. I admit I'm having fun. More than ever. Still I can't stop thinking about the next, I'm really waiting for my shonen-ai shows. Haha.
I hope you get to watch more shows! I'd like to hear your opinion on them, or this season overall. I'm not busy anymore so we can talk, you know I'm always happy to have this conversations with you.
Have a nice day!
