Wonder why they didn't stick with the original OP.. it was awesome


Nothing majorly wrong with the 1st episode. Just wished some of the things in the anime we're applied to the original game. Like the fact that the 3 heroines is actually their own character, not a one soul shared character (you choose 1 of the 3, other 2 cease to exist.)


I just hope it doesn't stay to peaceful and boring. Once Kaguya appears, the plot will start.



As you can see yes, He actually voiced both. Rick was to supposed to be voiceless, so he only voiced his battle voices.

A pretty nice slice-of-life.

I haven't played the game yet, so no clue about this. Let's see what it takes.

If it's following the game, then it won't be a slice-of life.
It's from the Shining series, and it's and RPG.

Airy is so cute! I was hoping Kaguya would be in the first ep. -_- I guess we will have to wait a bit to meet her.

kinda meh first episode. But ill give it a few more eps before i decide to drop it or not. idk how i feel about the bread theme. Has some really cute girls tho.

It seems like it could be a harem one..

This was the first time in a long time I saw the first episode of a show and got bored - there was nothing bad, just not interesting. And the girls were just WAY to much sugar. I'll give it a couple of more episodes, however.

Am i the only one who thinks that the girls look like characters from a pixysoft Hentai?

Seriously, i was expecting monsters jizzing into the girls' faces any moments from now.

At first I was all "Yay its Elwyn!" Then I was disappoint.

Are they really -this- lazy at creating character appearances? She looks just like her down to the length of her hair to the headband and clothing. sheesh.

it seems like a cute piece of candy fluff, the pretty scenery and adorable characters were appealing. im sure after this red moon/storm thing madera and alvin mentioned comes the show will b more interesting .
just gotta say tho nothing can beat yakitake japan! as far as EPIC bread making sry rick ....lol

It's not about making bread...wait till Kaguya appears...if they didn't destroy the original story.

In the original Game, Rana didn't have a character portrait but her sprite looks very similar to Elwyn.

And if you hate "reusing characters" don't bother looking for "shining Blades". lol

I liked it, freshly baked shining bread looked pretty good and tasty. Im so good at getting into the anime foods, I could watch it if they just baked and such all day like yumeiro. Rick was really compelling and cool, and the elves were fun too. The visuals are nice and soothing, with great music, and an sweet OP. Even though it isnt in my typical genre, an anime adaptation of a game does have me hooked and the premise that it is a jrpg makes me think it may have action!

This show is very offensive to people with gluten allergies.

If I was gluten intolerant I would be protesting in the streets about how offensive it is.

Hmm... Despite liking this anime series I am really confused as to the main story of it. At first I thought it was all about baking bread but now other things appeared. Looking forward to the next one tho...

Not quite sure what to make of this yet (besides maybe a loaf of bread), but I guess we'll see.

I will be honest. This anime is pretty good, but will only be enjoyed by few people (including me). The story so far seems boring, but i will give it a chance for few more episodes to pick up. The animation and characters are pretty nice though.

I did not einjoy it but I didn't hate it, I have no idea what's going on there, so I will wait a bit und let it build up. Damn, I want to eat bread.

To be honest, I think this is one of the worst animes in the season... terribly boring.

A bit underwhelming start but I'll stay for the girls and Tony Taka's glorious character design.
At least this fills my game/VN/RPG/generic harem adaptation for the season.

Ugh dunno if I can last till the action picks up. I swear this Rick's bread fawning harem is almost as bad as the standard ecchi harem. Got bout halfway through n I was already thinking If I hear about Rick's bread one more time... Imma break something. :P

I liked this episode, pretty art, happy episode, its better if there is no action at all.
Hope it stay like that even when it enter the main plot.


Even if there is any action scene, judging from Shining Tears x Wind anime, I'm afraid there will be no blood nor "cool" sword clashing scene at all in Hearts too.
