I read your old review of the Tsukihime anime, and initially thought "oh come on, the anime wasn't that bad". Then I got intrigued as to what all of the visual novel fans were mad about and played the original. You were right, now I hate the anime with a passion, it butchers the source material to such a degree that I feel a little ashamed that I found the show mildly enjoyable before having played the vn. Your review still led me to play the visual novel though, and for that I thank you. It was one of the most compelling reading experiences I've had in years.
