| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Natsume woke up, and nyanko-sensei and Ishida-san saved him in time. What he saw when he was in river was probably real Hoozuki's aura. So he's going to make sure about it. Ishida-san asked that youkai about if Hoozuki really sealed or not. Timing of asking Natsume was not right... When they did found "Hoozuki" there's the monster in question there. Ishida-san's character helped getting it. Ishida-san's character stopped "Huzuki"'s underlings while Natsume ran back to claim. "Huzuki" knew he's not Hoozuki. Nyanko-sensei protected him, and Ishida-san's character gave the rock to release him. He saw the vision of Hoozuki (Midorikawa-san?). He said his power is weak. After that, both teams' souls went up. After all those moving, Natsume went into long sleep and got fever. About his parents' photo next ep.? |

| It had a nice ending but I would have liked to know more about the two gods. Still Natsume is learning to cooperate and trust on others. Also I didn't know that Sensei was that blood thirsty, killing the beast and offering the head to Natsume. lol It shows that he has grown attached to him. I wonder if he would like to extend his life so that he doesn't die? I'm really excited, it will be the first time we'll get to know about his parents. I'm looking forward to next week! |

| Aahh, Natsume is just love. ♥ I loved how much character development there was in this episode! Hiiragi's words to Houdzuki's followers about trusting their master completely was so touching, as was Natori's reaction to hearing those words. Natori is also beginning to show concern for Hiiragi, making sure she rests; contrast that to his insistence that youkai don't get sick in Zoku~. The situations are different, sure, but still. Natori's revelation that as much as he'd love to have Natsume as an assistant, he'd much rather have him remain his friend was beautiful. Unfortunately, Natsume was too busy looking for the stone to even notice. Poor Natori. ;__; Sensei risking being cursed by a God to protect Natsume. It's more obvious now than ever that it's not just the Book of Friends Sensei's after. Hiiragi's conversation with Natsume at the end was so funny and moving. She's so wonderful, seriously. This series has some really amazing female characters. /outpouring of love for this series |

| Wow! That was simply splendid. What a wonderful episode! Natori-san showing his compassion towards Hiiragi. +10 Natsume deciding to rely on Natori-san (so it's not only Tanuma and Taki anymore) +10 Sensei jumping in front of Natsume for his rescue +100 10/10 for this episode! Next episode might show a glimpse of Natsume's parents! Or may be not :( But the preview showed Tanuma, Nishimura and Kitamoto! I so adore their friendship, particularly when I think Natsume never had such friends before! :) |

| Should have been doing my group assignment, but when I saw the subbed version was out, I just had to watch it. NAWWWW Nyanko-sensei to the rescue!!! >_< The ending was great! I can't wait to learn about Natsume's parents in the next ep. |

| A great conclusion I thought, fun and touching. Loved that Nyanko-sensei stood up to a god. I'm liking how Natsume and Hiiragi's relationship is developing too. |

| The way the matter about the festival was solved was great tho it's sad that the festival isn't celebrated anymore. Old traditions disappearing is something that happens worldwide and in many cases it's a shame tho something they make place for new traditions. I do have to say however that traditions are a importuned part of one culture and they should not be forgotten. |
| Yeah, the ONLY thing I don't like about the series is that about half the time Natsume gives a name back, the spirit disolves into pretty bubbles. Unfortunately, with all the cultures melting together, and some people choosing to acknowlege only one part of their genetics, beautiful cultures and traditions are dissapearing... as are the visual "stamps" of these races. (Light colored eyes, natural blonde hair) I'm really enjoying this season! It's all about showing how Natsume is not only learning to trust the people around him, but he's learning that he CAN depend on people. It... heals something inside me from when I was treating similarly. |

| I don’t mean to repeat myself, but this episode was splendid. Well, as always. Nyanko-sensei~♥ Just admit it, you care about Natsume, you risked your own skin and defied a god to protect him; don’t you go pretending it’s all because of the Book of Friends. Aw, Natori. You’re growing softer~ I enjoyed hearing that despite how much he’d like to have Natsume as an assistant, he’d rather remain friends with him. That’s simply so touching coming from him ♥ ... it’s a shame Natsume didn’t even notice. Well, at least the boy trusts you, Natori. Hiiragi, why do I love you so much~? I was blown away when Fuzuki took off Natsume’s mask and revealed he wasn’t the divine figure of Houzuki. I don’t know why, but I thought it was a neat scene. Wait, Natsume’s parents next episode? I really want to see that. |

| I absolutely loved this story, Natsume slowly developing through the serie is really beautiful to see. I loved the way he looked with the Houdzuki costume, it really suited him for some reaosn. -Am I the only one who can totally imagine him endind up like a really high spritual being, later when he's older? :P- For a moment I was scared the moon servants were really planning on making him a God, it would've been kinda difficult to continue the anime though xD I loved the ending with Natori and Nyanko Sensei helping Natsume while he undid the seal. The fact that the 2 Gods went away together was really touching and it seems like Natsume's and Natori's friendship has improved after all this :) 5/5, perfect episode and ending for this story ~ |

I like how Natori gets some character development too :) At first, I didn't like him completely, but now he's definitely become more caring about his assistants as well as not sealing just any youkai being requested to seal. I was surprised at the end that it seemed like Fuzukigami and Houzukigami were friends...that was really touching. And yes, so was Madara trying to protect Natsume. I know what you mean, I love learning about traditions, and love celebrating those traditions with my family as well. | More than finding sad, this second part of the story, I found it much fun, merit of Nyanko-sensei. But the story told is not trivial or uninteresting, but it is yet another reproach to humanity and its flaws. The distance between Natsume and Hiiragi, I think it is reduced to a few more, ditto that between Natori and Natsume. |
