I did think the old man and the child was linked. He went full on Rambo with that rescue mission, but I guess it was too much for the old ticker!

The record that KITE pulls out of Harou's collection is called GREEN by Hiroshi Yoshimura. I only just learned about it a few weeks ago from a YouTube video!

Ok so they were finally able to mourn about the death of father, of course accompanied by a character development haircut.

That part however was overshadowed by junky geezer going ham xD

Then we got another attempted rape, a trippy club, a sex scene and a bedridden guy who can predict the earthquakes.

This episode was crazy and felt all over the place, but it wouldn't be Yuasa without all of that. The thing I'm struggling is what's supposed to be the overraching theme behind all of this, if there's any at all. Japan is going down, anarchy rules, everyone does whatever they want and?

Hmm a massive episode. The scene under the setting sun was touching, although I'm surprised that the mother (or someone else) had not yet noticed the wound on Ayumu's ankle.

The other characters seem quite unpredictable and their intentions are not very clear. I hope we will get answers that justify their actions. (The old man)

Lol, was the sex scene really necessary?

lmfao at the opioid addicted racist grandpa pulling a 360 no scope with a bow and arrow.

Definitely the best episode until now. The scenes between de mom and daughter were great. They're dealing with the grief of losing the dad in their own way.

Honestly this show...I'm almost ready to drop this torture.
We get yet another attempted rape scene, lots of drugs, a sex scene, people who talk with the dead, Grandpa going Rambo-mode with his bow and arrows. Did he die in the end?

Oh, will ANYONE open their goddamn eyes and notice huge wound on the girl's LEG already? Or are they going to ignore the obvious until the leg has to be amputated?

One more episode, and it better redeem itself.

This felt like an entirely different show lol. From an earthquake survival show to a cult? Seems so out of place. But it’s entertaining nonetheless. That one looped animation of the dancers in the club lol...they really had a tight budget huh.

I’m glad we got an emotional resolution to the dad passing though, long overdue!

I liked this show towards the start, but now I'm not so sure I enjoy the direction it's heading in. I loved it a lot more when it was simply just a neat survival show...now we're dragging in what's basically a cult, which feels quite out of place.

They finally mourned his death after holding it in for so long.

Wow so that kid was his grandson and dude that old guy is crazy af.

Another attempt at rape but once again the girl saves herself alone without the help of a guy. Also Kite is crazy and I like the guy.

Ye knew there was gonna be sex thou I thought they were gonna fuck like wild beasts at the party lol.

Grandpa was another shock, frickin spinning around shooting ppl with his bow and arrow like no problem. The rape scene was very predictable and barely made me feel anything toward the girl. Honestly, Im going to continue the show but I have no feelings attached to these characters. The first episode was truly shocking. I sympathized with the characters as that is an event seen in the real world. But that is just it, I only felt sympathy for them. And why the fuck is Go always alternating between English and Japanese, stick with one. We do not need to be reminded that you know some English.

I must have missed something.

Why are they growing so much bud? They have so much it’s weird. Marijuana is super illegal in Japan, so it’s a strange sight. Also, the little Boy Go is a super brat. Keeps calling the cook fat and downing on him, not cool. Interesting episode, still down know what the show wants to do. Been kind of boring compared to the first episode.

Second day watching.

Its not a bad camp at all, i guessed. They showed us a leader named 'mother' and her 'kid' with ability to talked to the dead people. Its kinda weird, they were not lied. Something getting ridiculous as the family continued living inside the camp. They just do some nonsense party, drank, and had a fun. Atleast they needed to released some stress over their shitty destiny. In short time, yeah, they all had fun. The mother and weird clown foreigner had fun together. Ayumu danced some awkward movement and almost got raped. Shit. Stupid man. And her senpai finally released his talent. Only to knew that their old man had its own goal, to brought back the 'kid'. But, that shitty old man, failed. What a shit day he had.

Interesting. This episode was about had fun, relax, and released your problem. Yeah so much relaxation, and 'uh-oh' moment just making the whole episode purposes as clear as crystal. Great direction and very straight forward. Thats it.

Pretty weird cult they got going there. I wonder if the old man really lost his mind or if that kid is really his grandson and the cult kidnapped him. Wholesome to see Daniel cheer up the mother and the mother and Ayumu mourning the dad's death at the end.

This show's depiction of rapists and sexual assault are really, really lazy and predictable. What is up with anime depicting these events like this? You'd think something this traumatic and serious wouldn't be some random plot device you use as a joke or to force some confrontation in. But anime writers just can't help themselves.

Kinda weird. So we stop suddenly at a place that (for some reason) isn't damaged (yet). Then takign more than 1 episode for this - when the show was supposed to be about survival and escaping from the sinking Japan.

The scene with the grandpa was hilarious. No scoping those fools like they're nothing. #1 unintentional comedy anime of the year.

What even is this show turning into? Wasn't it supposed to be a disaster-type anime? Now we've got some weird cult. Everything feels so random.

ROFL @ the random sex scene at the end.

When I started this series I expected a hardcore survival story. The cult, Rambo grandad, techno and drugs at a high level party and sexy time with a hot yakuza dame...wtf?

I don't even know why I'm still watching this. It's like none of the characters know how to properly display emotions or anything. Inserting English into the sentences every now and then is super annoying. And Daniel is not only creepy but also annoying. :/

SHUT UP, GO! D: OMG Stop speaking in English so randomly throughout the series! I know who he reminds me of. AJ from The Walking Dead game, the little boy who is always with Clementine. AJ also pissed me off. I don't mind the English but I wish they just hired a bilingual voice actor. This is Netflix but they couldn't hire bilingual voice actors, who do exist, in Japan.

Kite has Godzilla-sized balls to call Mother a fake while being in THEIR TERRITORY with a bunch of cultists who could kill them at ANY TIME!

That party wasn't too bad though, they had a gaming tournament, weed, drugs, booze, etc. Also, Haruo is talking more now. He's really liking the weed there.

This is the second rape attempt in the series. First time to see sex, considering it's like Devilman Crybaby I thought there would be more.

Also gramps, wtf happened? Is that really his grandchild or is he high from the drugs?

Not gonna lie, grandpa shooting those cultists while on his wheelchair was the BEST SCENE in this entire series so far LOL

Ehh, MAL had problems so my quite long post did not upload eventually. :( And I have already commented under episode 6 that I have already seen.

Oh well, not to repeat myself, I just wanted to say that there were two big moments in this episode: bed-ridden mysterious person that seems to try to communicate, perhaps by using Morse Code; and of course Rambo-mode grandpa noscoping everyone with a bow, lol. The question, though, was whether he was sane and wanted to save his grandchild, or just drugs hit him too hard? :p

@Bibimbapski, yeah, I wonder if some wild actions like grandpa noscoping with bow on a wheelchair is gonna happen in the next half of the show. xD

We have our first real solid episode now that things have slowed down. And we have a super-forced cry moment where we preach stoicism. That's definitely one thing I dislike about Japanese culture. Mourn and move on. Holding it all inside is not healthy. You can cry at night when no one is watching.

Also, the mom's been acting strong? This whole time she's been relying on other people, aside from a single day or so without her husband.

Pretty wicked party. That's what I would choose to do as well. Sex scene came out of nowhere (at first I thought the grandpa got younger), but it was fine. Grandpa's rampage is freaking awesome.

Well we finally got some emotional payoff with the Mom and Daughter morning their Dad. But wtf was that ending lmao. Old man went rambo and somehow dodged bullets on that shitty wheelchair lol. Is there supposed to be an actually connection between him and that boy? I got very slights hints but idk. He's pretty nuts so I wouldn't put it past him to try and kidnap him for absurd reasons. But yeah this show seems to not have a great sense of direction. It's just Japan has ended and ppl are crazy.

The 'hot dame' has toes that are all exactly the same! Well, it sure caught my attention! (in a previous episode) Plus the permanent bright red lips... eeeew!

While this episode may have been better than the previous 2? Rambo Grandpa (the junky!) ruined it entirely...

Oh gosh I thought people were overreacting when they said Japan Sinks was horrible.

They gave us violence without reason and now nudity (I really didn't expect the sex scene, I'm so disturbed)

Netflix should put warnings in this show.

First off it hasn’t even been a week. Her hair didnt grow. And if she was just overdue for a haircut anyways, why do it right then during the apocalypse? Priorities, man. This cult...I have no words. Lmao at grandpa’s mission impossible. Looks like he has no problem killing people. I’m just going to pretend that ultra cringey club scene didn’t happen. This show has not been disappointing so far.
