| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, this show. I had expected goofy moments and the protagonist gave me that impression. Iruma is the new kid in this strange world where there's demons, flying creatures, etc. Looks like the first episode had appearances of some prominent characters including Amelie (I honestly can't wait to see more of her) The OP song is also goofy, kinda like the show itself. I'm ready for more popcorn entertainment. |

| The opening had me super fired up! It had a nostalgic shounen feel to it that really fits the atmosphere of the anime. This was a good first episode, I'm really enjoying the comedy and unique isekai is always welcome!! |

| It's such a weird feeling when a manga I've been reading gets an anime. The manga used to make me laugh uncontrollably, but I always thought the story wouldn't really work as an anime. Well, while the quality of the story did decrease, it was still utterly hilarious. The voice acting is so well done! My only complaint right now is the stiff animation, the terrible op and ed, and the crowd that clearly looks copy-pasted. |
| Hmm...another isekai??? That's No.5 in the books. Interesting way to get isekai-ed though. That OP is as Shounen generic as hell but sounds good, so I think this could be good. This is another show that broke my expectations, and this is wholesome. Is this Hotel Transylvania the Movie, the Animated Series? Coz it seems like it. The school anthem was Yankee Doodle as hell, but I'd guess for a demon school, that's the norm. Never expect the Demon Grandpa gave Iruma such Hell from the get-go...he is such a tease. For him to be headshot by the honour student, his defense is infinitely stronger than his attack, WOW. Take a hint, Mamako! Oh God, another German Suplex. Coming from the studio animating the later parts of Gintama, everything is A-OK as of now. Has the Fall season become the saviour of isekai anime??? I hope so. |

| Good first episode. Still some joke kinda got loss in translation and the anime seem too keen on foreshadow stuff that i think not necessary. Better let it reveal slowly like in the manga. |
| OMFG i can already tell this is gonna be one of my faves of the season! The gothic kawaii art style is so cool and i love the wacky plot and crazy characters! I love that massive 180 Asmodeus's personality did in that last scene and the embarrassing, doting grandpa the demon lord instantly became haha |

| That was surprisingly enjoyable. Funny how our protagonist gets thrusted into the spotlight when he just wants to stay low key but daemon grandpa won't allow it. Just a big ball of silliness that might turn into one of the most funniest shows of the season. Looking forward to where this show goes. |

| This seems unique, but in other hand it's not. The protag is basically Hayate from Hayate the Combat Butler who had to work and live in poverty since he was kid too cause his parents shouldered huge debt on him. The premise seems completely same as MxM where mugle needs to pretend to be magician in magic school and not get find out, and cause he's so good avoiding attacks and bluffing everyone thinks he's strongest in the school. Still although it's sth that is already seen and done, i do like the idea of it and it can be pretty funny series to follow. |

| Looks like my first impressions were right about this show! Seems like silly, upbeat fun. I'll probably be able to do 23 episodes of this. It reminds me a lot of Hells, for perhaps obvious reasons, but also kinda of a few western cartoons. This show feels heavy on western influence, but I can't quite pin point why. The very loose and colorful animation style ((and animation-saving techniques)) and colour palette? That overall "wacky, kinda-gothic hell/magical academy" aesthetic? That over the top, zany music? ....Just the concept? (goofy, ""normal"" kid transported to magical academy). I feel like it's reminding me a lot of one cartoon specifically that I used to watch as a child, but it's one of those cartoons that I can no longer remember well at all--and only foggy/fuzzy feelings are coming back to me of it, which, AHHHHHHH. Its nice I guess, didn't expect this to get a 23 eps run tho but we'll see how well it fairs in airing for that long, shows like this usually just gets the usual 12 eps. Anyways first ep was nothing special, his parents being dicks reminded me of Hayate's circumstances. |

| i was actually pretty surprised how good of quality the show was considering how low on the popularity ranking it is! it seemed pretty funny, i think i'll be able to stick through 2 cours of it, but it really depends on the next couple episodes. i think this will turn out to be a pretty good comedy considering its coming from the same studio that handled a lot of the later gintama series. |
| I'm really happy this turned out to be a great adaptation. The animation is bouncy and fun, and I really think they did a good job with the few characters that've been officially introduced so far. I'm also thrilled it's going to be a two-cour series and not just a rushed 12. |
| LOL i just love how even this is being labelled an isekai, well technically it is true but if we are going that far you might as well call every anime that has someone going to the demon or spirit or moster realm as one .and trust me that is over 75% of anime that have come out over the years XD. Well anyway back to first impressions, i really love this series, i have been readingit for awhile and i find it very entertaining it reminds me some of the old classic series back in the 00's that are set in supernatural schools kind of like Rosario vampire or Demon king Damaou or even To-Love-Ru( dont worry it does not go that route thank god) and the comedy is very funny. Also hot damn this probably has one of the sharpest and most excellent production value i have seen throughout the year, the animation fits and the soundtrack is wacky and crazy that it total fits with this setting and this is an nhk sponsored show. hoho if this keeps up i might have another to add in my top 5 anime for the year. |

 I admit it I'm a hardcore fudanshi/fukei (Male version of a fujoshi) as well as Isekai trash. So please be gentle! Check out my list for all of the Isekai and BL contents I've seen and read! (I'm mainly a fan of High School BL, but if something is done we'll I'd still enjoy it.) An Isekai BL would go down a treat with me! |

| Great debut although it was rushed Daisuke Ono was a great choice for Callego sensei Also the Legendary Megumi Ogata AKA (Shinji-Kurama-Yukito-Komaeda) for Opera great add Asmodeus should have been Mamoru Miyano the character fits him completely |
| The premise is kind of bad since the setup and context was so abysmal, and the art quality was questionable in some places, but god damn did I enjoy this. If it keeps this kind of atmosphere this will no doubt be my guilty pleasure of the next two seasons. Sullaven best waifu 2019. |

| I honestly can't tell if this is supposed to be a kids show or not. From the plot to the visual style to the opening theme song it feels like a Saturday morning cartoon. Is it supposed to be a comedy? Nothing was really that amusing. Like I get all of the "jokes", but I could see them coming from a mile away. It's like watching comedy happen in slow motion. The only thing that might save this show is having various different 悪魔 with unique designs and personality traits, but so far it seems they're mostly all horn+wings type: way too standard and boring. |
