Granted, Berserk isn't good, but it's not even remotely close to being the worst. As for me, I'm going to go with Hanoka. In part because it was made with Flash, which leads to really jarring presentation. I have seen uglier anime (like Mars of Destruction), but Hanoka is borderline unwatchable. It may very well make you physically ill, since everything seems to be floating around on the screen, kinda like puppets but not really. It is very disconcerting. |

| im not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but devilman's animation is horrible the movement/expression of characters are sloppily done and the extreme lack of details is noticeable since the first episode style-wise its not the most inspiring but i give it a pass |

| An oddball pick, but the second prequel OVA of the Legend of Galactic Heroes had some really atrocious "animation". There was a lot of low resolution raster images zoomed and panned over with large pixel artifacts everywhere. Not the worst I've seen, but if it was anything other than LoGH, I would not have watched it. It's still one of the few parts of old LoGH that I haven't rewatched (along with Golden Wings, but animation as such wasn't the problem there). |

| CGI dosen't count, everyone brings up just CGI show's, good job community. Well, Ladyspo, shoud counts as horrible, on a level that's it's shoud not even been called a anime. KimiKiss Pure Rouge got really horrible backgrounds, it just look cheap = the characters dosen't even fit in. Tsuki ga Kirei the whole show just looks like shit. If we go back 19 years in time, we can find animes that came out the 20th that got better animation and character design then this show. |
