| Saw a gifset of Tsukki from gintama. She looked so pretty that i binge watched till her first appearance (epi 143??) Kept seeing a lot of posts about Asirpa from GK, loooooved her design. Ended up becoming an all time fave Uh i literally hate BNHA like i despise it but uhhh def watched for Aizawa..lotta skimming. And then i never really got into it but Benten from Uchouten Kazoku caught my eye. The episodes i watched i liked tho. |

| Oh, fuck me, there's a bunch. Picking up a show because of a single character happens all of the time with me. Like, I have no doubt that stumbling across one character somewhere and taking an interest in them is my most common reason for watching anything at all. Recently I started rewatching OreGairu, which I hate almost every main character from and dislike intensely holistically, just because I absolutely adore Miura. I started up long runners like Fairy Tail, Bleach, and Urusei Yatsura, for Juvia, Orihime, and Ran respectively. There's a ton of 1 or 2 cours I was like that with, so many that I don't even want to begin attempting to list them off. It's more than likely that somewhere around three quarters of my total list is shit I picked up because "hurrr one character." Things like synopsis or genre tags make me take note of something, but I greatly hasten priority in cases like that. It doesn't even need to be a main character with a huge amount of screentime. It can be a secondary character I think I could be super into and I'll like, pick up some 200 fucking episode series if need be. Like, hing is, I'm not closed off to other characters or the show itself outside of the one character I'm likely picking it up for, and I know that, so I don't really need to think a whole lot about whether or not it's worth the investment for one character. At the end of the day, it's still just going to be a giant push for me. Almost never a holistic, single reason for watching it, so I'm comfortable going to that absurd extremity. I'm like that, I guess. You can write me this beautiful, passionate recommendation, explaining to me why you love the series and what areas you think would really work with me, and it'd probably less effective than posting a fucking picture or a gif and saying "Oh hey look there's this one character I think you'd like and she gets like, 15 minutes of screentime total." |

| The first image I saw from Monogatari series was Black Hanekawa in 2010 or 2011 and later the video of her doing that tongue twister. So, I think if I hadn't seen that, I wouldn't get interested in watching the series (which I only did this year lol). I'm also watching Toaru series because of Misaka. |

I once saw a picture of her and had no idea who she was or what anime she came from (to me, she was “the mystery maid” for a while), and when I found out, I was like, “I’M WATCHING THIS WHEN IT COMES OUT.” (The Grisaia no Kajitsu anime hadn’t aired yet at the time.) Also, I initially became interested in Code:Breaker because of Rei. I haven’t actually watched Code:Breaker yet, but I intend to at some point. |

| Yea 99% of the anime on my list and pretty much everything on my PTW. Although occasionally it's for 2 or more characters but that's my most important metric for deciding to watch a show. +1 on Choi btw. Definitely worth watching the show for her. |

| I never started because of one character, but I definitely didn't dropped some because of the character. The first example that comes in my mind is Koutarou Tatsumi from Zombieland saga. I first thought the show would make fun of zombies and idol anime, but instead it became one. So the only reason I didn't dropped the show was because of Tatsumi being this entertaining. Thankfully, the show itself became better and it was an alright experience overall |
