| I have to enjoy the interactions of the characters in order to like a couple. A clear example would be Mai and Sakuta from Bunny girl senpai: They are not my favorite characters nor I find them cute, but their personalities and interactions made me enjoy the couple and the show. Anyway, if I also love the characters I will like even more the relationship that if I only enjoy their interactions. That would be the case of Okabe and Kurisu or Hitagi and Koyomi. Lovable characters + great interactions = great couple. |

| A respectable protagonist to antagonist relationship. Sort of like with Gilgamesh, Iskandar and Saber in Fate/Zero where they can acknowledge each other's ideologies before fighting. I also like a down to earth friendship where they just roast each other and joke around. |
