| in anime: drama that is based on misunderstandings. I'm usually okay with it to a certain extend and i think in a lot of anime it is done well. However if your romance is based around it like in Gamers!! then it will really tick me off. In games: Mostly jokes made by a narrator of some sort. In this community: People (tends to be mostly males) who say their lives are similar to that of one of their favorite anime characters. People who say they relate to those characters makes me cringe so much (doesn't help that most of those characters are actually badasses). "oh i really liked simon from ttgl i really relate to his struggles" "what? someone close to you died, you became depressed for a bit but afterwards you became a giant fucking badass?" Hate me or call me hypocritical all you want. |

Like, it feels like people have really, really low tolerance levels for what they're reacting to like so. "Bwah, bouncing boobies," "Bwah, cute girls," blah blah blah. It's kind of baffling. Then again, I come from the Sonic fandom and touch naked dead people all day at work so I'm probably not very good for this kind of thing :P |
