| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was quite a heavy episode of emotions. The amount of rain and Akira having a heartfelt moment with the manager. Even compared to the other episodes, this one felt like it had emotions just pouring out. Akira is protrayed with a lot of human expressions that I think works pretty well for this adaptation. Such a powerful way for her to express what she's feeling. A beautiful embrace between the two. |

| "You know nothing about me." Ouch, Kondou. But it might've been the reality check Tachibana needed. As Kase-face suggested, she needs to take it easier. When Kondo started moving toward Tachibana in his apartment I had to pause it. I didn't think I could handle the cringe of what I thought was going to happen next. When it turned out to just be a hug, man, I was so relieved. Anymore than that would've been too much—especially at this point. On the downside, Tachibana's hots for Kondou seem to have gone up a level, ha. Stellar. 5/5 |

| Friends. Well it's something. XD My goodness, there were so many absolutely stunningly beautiful shots of Akira in this rather stormy, dramatic episode. Too many to count! And that hug scene! It looked so beautiful, and the violin version of the ending theme was so atmospheric. My goodness, just, rather powerful. Well Akira, what's next? |
| This was an amazing episode. The apartment scene where Kondo hugged Tachibana was absolutely beautiful. He realized that she means a lot to him. The words he said was just wonderful. |

| Tachibana can be expressed in a lot of words.. lewd being one of them, I wouldnt be surprised if she came after that hug. That "What do you know about me?" line was so damn on point tho, that was some harsh reality there. Anyways Tachibana being lewd aside, that damn OST that kicked in really hit the spot, combined with that stormy rain, God. Amazing ep and was kinda surprised Kondo actually had the guts to hug her, I mean cmon, why just hug? kiss the damn girl! she's itching for it. | I cried. I was waiting for this one for so long! And while in manga their hug was just one page, in anime it took long enough to be perfect. Now we officially know that Akira is important for Kondou-san. Although she got friendzoned. But for now it's enough. I can't wait for next week's episode. This one is going to be my favorite episode, definitely |

| That apartment scene was just fantastic. I love the colorful visual parts of the show, but this episode's was breathtaking. The ending's instrumental version fit perfectly. I'm so glad that Akira became someone important to Kondo. |

| Simply beautiful. So many emotions and I love how understanding Kondo-san is with the situation (while he was at his home, not the outburst before). |
| the symbolism with the umbrellas was spot on again. I dont want to interpret to much but after the umbrellas intertwined the handles faced away from each other. So maybe the relationship of Tachibana and Kondou will just remain a bigger naive spot in field of spots during her teenager and tweens. |

| This episode was just perfect. I would have been annoyed at Kondou for saying Tachibana knows nothing about him AFTER Tachibana has been trying to make constant efforts to do just that... But well.. I am cutting him some slack because I kind of understand the whole situation with Tachibana is making him snappy and on edge because he is feeling things he doesn't want to be feeling. Tachibana is really hot, that leg shot was whoa lol. I also like the portrayal of a teenager raring to jump into adulthood. Tachibana got friend zoned but I don't mind that for now. I hope that douchebag cook misread the situation of Tachibana catching cold from Kondou as something dirty and keeps his hands off her as a result lol. |
| Absolutely breathtaking. I slowly doubt that this here is really about love but rather about two people who had to gave up their passion in life, finding comfort in each other's company. In a way they both complete each other. This hugging surely is one that has burned itself into my mind. I won't forget that one. |
| This was way beautiful to describe in word just marvelous, it seems that when he said you don't know anything about me was meant for his old friend the author no Akira. Best part of the episode and this show was definitely Kondou's speech, but seriously why did they threw that nude scene in Akira's dream that ruined the entire experience for me. | What an episode ! It's so well drawn, each second passing Akira is more and more and more and more beautiful, and Kondou becomes always more someone you can respect or even admire. Even Kaze acts less like a douche but more like "a reminder" even though Akira (and I) don't want to hear him. Realization is amazing. Music is great. Just wow! |

| I just need to point out the stunning visuals of this entire anime and of this episode in particular. I love the little details the creators put into each episode, as they completely immerse me. This episode it was the stellar umbrella metaphor. But even the things that may seem so simple in theory and yet are so hard to pull off in reality are executed so extraordinarily well in this anime - the pacing works perfectly. Each episode completely nails the timing of each scene, perhaps better seen in the earlier episodes portraying the "hot, dry" and "tiring" summer. It all clicks together perfectly thanks to the satisfying blend of a unique, colourful artstyle and a great soundwork. |

| This was a pretty amazing episode, looks like Kondou wants to start with being friends first from the looks of it but the way he put it seemed like it could go beyond that eventually. I also wonder about the book, maybe he wrote it or possibly his ex wife. And Akira did the deed again XD. |

| A somber episode that left me feeling down. The episode itself is brilliant, but those feels..... Kondo did the right thing by sending Tachibana home by cab. I confess that I probably would not have been able to send her home. She makes you love her. |
