| I just finished Hikaru no Go and the final chapter left me thinking "huh? Seriously?", it was very very disappointing for such a good manga. So I was thinking if there are any other manga out there that were generally considered good but suffered with a surprisingly bad final chapter(s)?? Have you read such a manga? And did it affect your final score?? |

| Yeah I have read such. It always affects my score...except in Teen Spirit's case b/c the author died. The manga Damned has an ending so bad I can't even remember what it was lol. And for Emerging the ending was so lackluster compared to the beginning |
| Liar Game last chapter ending was kind of a let down and super rushed. Everything before the ending was great though. Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai too, because the MC picked worst girl. And yes rushed/unsatisfying endings mean a lower score (at least for me). |

| Kamisama no Iutoori 2. After 21 and 177 chapters of greatness the last 9 chapters were dissappointing. Not necessarily bad, but I expected a great ending after the great journey. Still a strong manga big 8/10 for 1 and 2. |

| Hirunaka no Ryuusei's sudden switch from the initial love interest (Shishio) to Mamura felt like a cop-out, and a badly executed one at that. Truthfully, Yamamori was just pressured by rabid fans - especially overseas - into writing an ending those rabid fans wanted, so... I like both guys, they're great, but you cannot deny that Suzume and Shishio were more nuanced - fuller, and had more potential and depth. That's all I will say on this matter. |

| Imawa no Kuni No Alice, and it had an amazing start-mid chapters Liar Game and One Outs also had meh endings. The author seems to not know how to make good endings :x It feels like he wants to convey something but fails to reach the readers. The buildup is there for both but he presented it in the worst way possible |

| There're a bunch of series that started going downhill from a certain point (e.g. Cat Street, Bleach, Naruto) but i'd say that both Monster and Holyland final chapters made me really disappointed, to say the least |

| Dorabase came to mind when i read this thread. Both incarnation had a very bad final chapter. No... More like, bad final arc... Also, Hayate no Gotoku's final chapter was a bit unsatisfying, but it wrapped up most things decently i think. Despite all that, i liked the series in general. |

| Not sure how many times I've said it already but Kyou Kara MA no Tsugu Jiyuugyou is one of the worst, complete shit mangas out there. Boys, don't read it, it was never meant for you anyways (was supposed to be shoujo) To those who actually use their brain, don't ever read it, it lacks even the tiniest shred of logic. To the normal people out there, don't read it the fujo-pandering towards the end is good enough to make you cringe really hard at the stupidity. Fujoshis and fudanshis, no never pick this up because despite the super dumb fujo-pandering towards the end you are not going to get anything out of this shit. If you are here for your fujo-service just play the games (VNs), there are 3 of them. Lastly, my dear creators make sure you never touch this series for the rest of eternity. It's best to seal it off in the depths of hell. |

| It's not that disappointing, but Gunslinger Girl. I love the manga either way, but it seemed like the writer could've ended it like 10 chapters earlier and it still would've been great. It doesn't deteriorate the quality of the story too much, but it still wasn't needed. |
