| Kemono Friends gets a large popularity like to a pnademic among Japanese anime fans. |
| This show is so much like a children's educational point-and-click adventure. It's low budget, has sloppy animations, weak puzzles and the occasional forced educational segments. I love it! It's so nostalgic of the games I used to play as a kid. This should have been a game rather than an anime, and I don't mean that fighting game app which was closed down before the anime aired. |
| Well beaver and prairie dog this times and they where an interesting duo. It was nice to see them working together tho even if they where all over the place at first. |
 Prairie Dog kissing Beaver in the background here made the episode for me. Really cute how their opposite ways of approaching problems came together to make something nice in the end. Wait, did I just say she was "kissing beaver"? Oh dear... Nice to hear Ibis' song again as well, and nice little cliffhanger at the end. |

They're standard animals turned into these human-like girls by Sandstar. It's part of the franchise's basic premise. The Ibis girl in episode 3 also compared her current body with her animal one, and in this episode itself they also commented on how some animals who builds nests and such sometimes have problems doing that after becoming Friends due to the size changes. |

| It's funny that they actually use some real-life animals characteristics on related Friends. IRL prairie dogs really kiss as greeting. They identify members of their pride this way. |

| Prairie Dog is also in the running for best Friend. Why is this pure friendship show giving me a boner Prairie Dog and Beaver are also very much polar opposites of each other, something this episode showed off in an educational yet entertaining way, with Prairie Dog recklessly digging and Beaver building models of models. "Where did you come from?" Oh, yay, another obstacle that'll keep them from the library...this one looks like a pain in the ass. Possibly a male? There are male Friends? |

| Having an architectural background, this episode speaks to me on a spiritual level. Trying to work on a project, getting stuck on the very first step despite having an idea of how to do it, creating scale models to try and iron the idea out, then getting stuck making scale models without ever actually doing anything...yup. I'm surprised at how mysterious this anime is. It was probably unintentional, but Kemono Friends actually does well in leaving the world's mysteries to visuals, having only the Lucky Beast give cursory information every now and then. We don't fully know what happened to this world and what the Friends and Ceruleans are, so all we can do is make guesses and inferences with what's available. This works because the world's functions aren't really the show's focus. That focus would be the character interactions and the educational bits. Because of this, the world doesn't need full explanations, allowing viewers to come to their own conclusions. Some shows require knowing their worlds to fully enjoy them, but here, that's not a pre-requisite. You can enjoy Kemono Friends regardless, allowing worldly explorations to occur based on personal investment in the series. That's actually pretty cool. |
