| I love the pacing for this anime, it is the perfect example of what media should be. A great foundation to the essentials to then reach a rising action which actually draws you in to then completely blow you away with the climax. That being said, since this is anime and the pacing is most likely putting people off from watching the series (in japan) this is probably not going to have a second season and all of that wonderful stuff that should come with this great character development. RIP the way media works... if it doesn't immediately bring people in it's considered garbage to producers and is dropped. |
| I like it. It's like listening to an audio novel. Except with really pretty visuals. It's calming. I wonder where all the story is though... is the story made up of simply character development? |

| The bratty warrior made an interesting point. I hope this will be followed by more needed improvements on his own. As much as the equipments purchases can fit to the general ambiance, it made me cringe a little for every skill Manato mentionned at the end like it popped out of nowhere or of a videogame "level-up". (despite the fact someone told me it was not the case in the novel, the anime makes it appear too much like that) Thanks for the infos about the music band promotion, cutting out dialogue lines instead of a simple overlay... I can't figure what is good in it. At least, it is finished and I didn't found the music bad (except the last one) |
| Mary is my favorite character. Her drama actually reached me and I feel very sorry for the dead or her friends. Honestly I didn't experience this with Manato's. The insert song of this episode sounds good but in my opinion it doesn't really fit the mood. I'm not a big fan of the insert songs. I don't think one entire song fits within such a scene where a lot of different things happen. The pacing is bugging me less than before. I kind of "accepted" the fact that they chose this kind of pacing. Moreover the things that happen within the anime feel less boring, so that helps as well. |

| Episode advancing with its time, the characters are really kids, we can see it from their speeches. Plot that slowly carries the story, you have to have patience because a lot about anime series plays dialogues rather than on other aspects, such as the action, and intrigue, to give substance to the story. Now even the ending has undergone a evolution as has happened for the opening, not bad. |

| I absolutely love the art in this anime but it kind of feels like not much has happened in those past 7 episodes. There still is no climax to it, however the character development is good. Hoping that the net episode will give us some more action :333 |

| It felt really rushed ... I personally would have preferred if they showed us a full battle against goblins and slowly demonstrated their new skills. Then they could have put some excitement background music and showed us that yellow line and make us feel like it really mattered ... i believe its gonna play a big part in the story later on. This episode in my opinion really sucked .... It felt more like a visual novel rather than an actual anime |

You need to open your heart to the waifus with traumas <3 well if i want new waifus i would go watch other anime lol, i thought i'd like this since i am a big rpg nut (esp mmos) but so far i feel like this anime is trying to do too much. Like having a slice of life part and action part and then they try to make introduce a typical kuudere with a tough past who i'm guessing is going to soften up to the MC by the end of this series |

| Caught up now. This series isn't doing anything for me. I love the art, seiyuu, and music but it just feels very unconventional and forced. Last scene was done really well. I almost felt sad for the characters. "See you tomorrow." |

EP X, Manato dies, they cry EP X+1, they kill Y EP X+2, they meet Mary, they kill Z EP X+3, they become full-fledged members, they start looking for a way home EP X+4, they find boss of world, killed it and about to go home EP X+5, they go home To be fair, there's not much to omit since most of these are ''original scenes''. They are forced to use the music though because it's a poorly-selling sourced material and the funders pushed the agenda to use music + montage scenes Im not saying the anime was rushed form the beginning, I'm saying rather that episode 7 was rushed. It's not about omission, I don't think they skipped some critical parts of the novel. But I think they didn't adapt the fight scene well into an anime. They translated it into a "story-telling montage" instead of an actual anime battle. I don't know about its sales ... but i dont see how making a montage with music would solve the issue (unless to cut down on the budget). To me it felt like they screwed up the original episode 8 horribly and won't make the deadline so they decided to turn it into a montage and put it at the end of episode 7. |

Not sure why I want to see it so bad honestly. xD The scene with Ranta at the start was also more anime original than anything, the initial part was in the novels (when Haruhiro just acknowledges that he hasn't been paying attention to Ranta) but after that it was all original I'm pretty sure. I just love what the anime is doing with his character by sneaking in anime original scenes for him, it's still perfectly in line with his original character and only serves to improve him. Still loving the whole atmosphere and attention to random details as well. Especially after the disappointment that was the previous episode, it's very satisfying to see that the show managed to pick itself up and provide some quality content this week (or rather last week). The insert song that played in the second half was imo the only one that was used decently, and accompanying it with little bits of narration and dialogues largely contributed to its effectiveness: did a good job showing how everyone progressed not just individually as fighters but also as a group. And even though we know the party had to patch things up with Mary for the plot and characters to move forward, it didn't feel rushed or sudden. I also really appreciated the fact that Ranta was initially opposed to being friendly with Mary just because she'd been through rough times: he definitely had a point, and it's not like they hadn't tried to act nice to her before. Made me hate him a tiny bit less. The interactions felt a less awkward as well probably because Yume and Shihoru didn't talk too much lol and Haruhiro's imaginary discussion with Manato was pretty adorable he was totes gay for him, wasn't he? So yeah, I really liked it. |

| Great episode, really felt like they are making progress finally. I liked how they accepted Marry and make her eat with them. And the speech Haruhiro had in the house near goblin city was also great. Finally they get something done, had some sense of achievement. I was waiting long for such an episode but it was worth the wait. (I'm kinda ambivalent about MMORPG elements still present there but I guess it's kinda obvious, though I would be happier if this was the real world). All in all it's great and refreshing series, very emotional and intimate, unlike other anime of similiar genre. And I really like it. |
