| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ouch, a tooth knocked out. I guess he'll be okay but honestly, that looks painful. Nice match this episode especially with some of the receives. For some reason, I like the melancholic music used in this episode. For some reason, I got the impression that Karasuno were seasick at a few times. Good episode, was quite entertaining. |

| Teacher suggesting captain to check even though he says he's fine. A guy that can truly hold on other teams other than Hino-san's character (even the coach naming him for next captain) came, but he only did sub for practice game that he was nervous. He's not good at playing, and skipped the practice. He still cannot forgetting volleyball and earning to be better. Lucky serve by the friend of megane guy. Very nervous game. NamiDai's character predicted that the team without Hino-san's character would have hard time winning even without looking. |

| Glad to see that Daichi's condition isn't that serious Ennoshita is a very interesting character and I can't believe that I didn't notice how great he was until now....Even though Karasuno are struggling in the second set I have faith that he'll be able to turn things around once more.... I think that they may still need Daichi for this match, but I kinda don't want him to play until the next round because of Ennoshita's own personal growth since he's next in line for captain Yamaguchi on the other hand needs to get a grip and even though I feel bad for him and want him to succeed, he needs to stop acting all scared, so hopefully he gets out of that habit next week |

| Great episode! I've been waiting for Ennoshita to play for a while now. He's really not memorable, but he's been helping the team in the background since season 1 AND he goes to every single practice and game despite never playing until now. I really like that about him. He's average and super relatable, but also incredibly grounded. And he's not bad player either. He'll be a great captain in the future, I'm sure. Yamaguchi needs to get his act together. Seriously? Running away at a time like this when the team wasn't even in a pinch? I would have been pissed too. I hope he gets the chance to redeem himself next episode. |
| I like these rare changes in the team like Ennoshita and my son Yamaguchi, I'm so proud of both Yamaguchi is such a relatable character imo,I feel him on a spiritual level. Don't worry son,you'll get it very soon Noya without that tiny tuft dyed~  |

| Ennoshita's scenes were awesome! Love how he stopped Ukai from screaming at Yamaguchi. I swear, when Yamaguchi's floater succeeds, it will be hype as shit! They are building this up since season 1. Don't worry, you'll get it soon. Also maybe, he can do more than that with more confidence. Love how Tsukki gave him sympathy. |
| Damn his tooth fell. That gotta hurt. Glad he's okay overall and cheering up Tanaka before leaving. Man Daichi doesn't receive the love he deserves. He's friggin awesome. It was nice giving those reminder flashbacks for Chikara because I'm sure not many recognize him XD This ep sure had some great development for both him and Yamagushi. Good shit. Behind by 4 points now. I wonder if this match will end nxt ep? |

| Ennoshita knowing what to accept in this situation and changing the things he can, it was just stunning. The moment when Yamaguchi does his magic in a crucial time, that instance where the line between victory and defeat lies within his grasp, having the whole world on his shoulder and delivering the expectations! It really will a scene to remember Haikyuu by. With a set amount of confidence afterwards, he'll be one reliable pinch server. Yamaguchi was far from lame when he said the things he did to Tsukki, they just happen to be under different constraints, and that he just needs his own way to breakaway from it, as he really did mean the words he said at that moment. Quite the nice episode to show just how reliable everyone is, and more than enough time to prove history wrong! |

| Even though episodes like these are a bit depressing to watch, I really appreciate them because they help the characters grow. I can't wait for the moment when Yamaguchi finally shows off his serve. |
| It's nice that Daichi isn't too badly hurt. Ennoshita gets some of the spotlight now, and Yamaguchi also got to show a little bit of his skills. He really needs to be more confident in himself though, as his cowardice could be detrimental to the team later on. It sucked seeing the guys down by 4 at the end, but I'm pretty sure they'll be able to turn things around. |

| Ennoshita ggetting some spotlight, and Yamaguchi getting a little of it. I wonder how Karasuno will do now without Daichi for a whole match, however. |

| Great episode and glad Daichi is not that hurt. Ennoshita saved the day, he really surprised me with his leadership and him to stopping the coach from screaming at Yamaguchi was nice to see. I'm waiting for Yamaguchi to have his moment, hopefully it comes soon. |

I feel bad to admit that I never really noticed him in past episodes before. Yamaguchi also finally got a chance to play in an official match again, he's so adorable. <3 I really like him cause he's a really relate-able character. Hopefully he'll be more confident while on the court in the next episode. |

| Daichi losing a tooth is not good. Hopefully he can get back into the game soon after some rest. Nice to see more attention given to Ennoshita. Good to see Yamaguchi in the game aswell. Karasuno won the 1st set, but now there is some trouble for the 2nd set. |

| Dammit seeing Daichi hurt made me feel awful. And let me tell you, both Daichi and Chikara are one of my favs. Like Godammit, I'm satisfied as hell to see both of them in spotlight recently. Also, Chikara handles things pretty well, sort of mini-Daichi Yamaguchi got one more push(?) He'll definitely improve and be more confident next time he gets to play. Great episode! Can't wait to see Chikara in all his glory. |

| Ahh this was a good episode even if it was really somber. I read this match a while ago so I don't recall how it ended. Hoping Yamaguchi gets to do his serve properly in this set and help win. |

| There was a bit of censorship in this episode. In the manga Oikawa talked with Iwaizumi about how the injury could be dangerous, and mentioned people who ended up comatose after hitting their head in sports. I think it was a nice detail because is the kind of talk you always hear playing sports. Maybe it was too somber for this anime though. |

| Did anybody else really love how they ended this episode? The Ushijima highlight and Oikawa's commentary fit so well with the ending. Provided they pick up right there instead of using it as a quick flash forward, it was a perfect way to pick up the pace and jump right in the action next episode. Such a great moment. |

| Yamaguchi baby, dont cry man :( :( making me tear up . I like this Chikara guy, hope I get to see more of him. And I'm glad Daichi is ok but judging from the situation; it seems they're gonna need him desperately. |
| What I love about this show is that every character gets development! Even Ennoshita who seemed like a background player is actually most likely to be the next captain. I'm hoping Yamaguchi grows during this match and gains more confidence :( |

| The flashback take too much time, this take longer than fighting Johzenji but at least they show some character development for minor charactor like Ennoshita and Yamaguchi |
| Excellent Episode, It felt so short though. Nice spotlight on Ennoshita. Hope Yamaguchi can get his act together in the next episode, Plus Karasuno needs to pull themselves back into the lead. Good thing Daichi wasn't injured seriously. |
