Mainly sequels for you as well, besides Witch Hat Atelier. Added that to my PTW, thanks for the recc. Ah, I forgot about Frieren S2 and Apothecary Diaries. I didn't realize S3 was set to release this year.

The Jojo anime adaptations have been consistently good, aside from the messy part 1. So I have high expectations, but apparently parts 7+ are their own universe with no connection to parts 1-6 :( Every time I think they can't top the previous Jojo protagonist, I'm proven wrong. We'll see if the same happens with part 7. Judging by its manga score, I'm sure it will.

I was fully prepared to buy the rest of the volumes and binge-read them when the manga finished. I read up to volume 16 (when An Lili gets introduced), not too far off from when the anime ended. I was really invested, but I couldn't stop missing the colors, voice acting, music... and thought maybe one day it would get a proper adaptation like Fruits Basket, but that hope was dying each year that passed.

Gosh, the last anime I finished was S2 of Apothecary Diaries back in August...the AkaYona announcement made me realize how inactive I've been. There are still many shows yet to watch that I'm looking forward to! Do you have any shows on your radar for 2026? A big one for me is Golden Kamuy final season ahhhh I hadn't realized how close it is to releasing. Some others are Link Click 3, Jojo 7, and My Star 3...all sequels haha.

I'd much prefer it to be the same studio with the same visuals and staying faithful to the manga, rather than a new studio taking over and deviating from it. I don't want them to pull a 'Promised Neverland S2' on us.

I admit, Kpop Demon Hunters was fun! Though I wish it wasn't so fast-paced, a sequel or something is definitely needed haha. Because I really want to know more about Huntrix too, I want their backstories! Also, one thing I didn't expect was Jinu's death, all that romantic development made me think he's gonna survive lol.
As for the songs, I think Golden is also my favourite, followed by Free, Takedown and Soda Pop xD

Both Luka and Hyuna deserve better! Mizi's expressions can be truly scary sometimes haha. Nothing comes to mind right now, but I'm sure I've read more manga with such characters. Probably ^^;

Yeah, well, it's still not okay and I really hope Jinshi will change his behaviour a bit. I know he is used to always getting what he wants and that's the exact reason I want to see some development. But yeah, the story is so fun I'm willing to overlook it for now lol. Ohh yeah the first OP of S2 was a banger!! I never skip the openings/endings for Apothecary Diaries haha.

Ah, Kaneshiro avoided answering directly about the block, of course xD But since he said they will reconnect, I'm assuming it will be after they solve their issues and miscommunication haha. The hardest thing is that they always shared the same feelings, but keep misunderstanding each other! I'm not currently up to date with Blue Lock, because I like to have a few chapters to binge every time, but maybe it's finally time to catch up and see what happens next haha.
Nagi's cover would probably be in my top 5-10 as well xD Blue Lock is one of those manga that has some really cool covers haha. I also love the colours every time.

Okay, so the reason my reply was so late is because I was waiting for the right time to watch that ORV movie. And I finally did. But omggg... what did they do to my boys?? Where do I even start cause so many things bothered me xD First of all, Kim Dokja, they seriously made him like an average shounen protagonist who wants to save the world when the original story is all about his selfishness. And his backstory was changed too! The bridge scene really annoyed me, because in the novel/webtoon KDJ is calm and pretty much in control over the situation, he even acts sassy as always, but because they removed the fourth wall in the movie he looks/is terrified xD It makes no sense why someone like Joonghyuk would want to team up with him lol. Yoo Sangah's portrayal in the movie also pissed me off. She is exactly the opposite of what Sangah was in the original story! And she did get the job, while Dokja didn't? Idk why they felt the need to remove that. And of course, Uriel wasn't even present in the movie. I swear I don't even know what that final battle was xD But the whole movie made zero sense to begin with, I bet someone who's not familiar with the original story will think ORV is so bad :')

The author is pretty creative when it comes to torture ngl xD And the worldbuilding is nice too, in S1 at least. So it's a shame we didn't get as much exploration as I hoped. Hoping next season will be better.

Yeah, I thought it looked interesting but turns out it was definitely not for me. I was bored to death lmao. I think everyone agrees that the MC from Bucchigiri is a piece of shit haha. I remember liking Matakara the most out of all of them though.
Ohh I hope the anime for Genshin is gonna be good! That's gonna give me the motivation I need, if I still haven't played it by 2027 xD edit: I forgot to add, but did you know there's a Genshin Impact cookbook? The recipes look really good!

Can't remember exactly where I stopped with Miraculous Ladybug, but Marinette started giving those kwamis creatures to her friends to help her out during missions. That's where I stopped. But anyways, I just watched that 2D PV and she really looks cute! But Adrien looks a bit old xD

I hope the anime will make the story more interesting to watch. But yeah, I have no idea why are we getting an adaptation now xD I remember waiting for the female protagonist to do something cool, but it never happend lol. But what's exciting is that Yona is finally getting a second season!! Can't believe it happens after all these years :') I heard the manga is going to finish soon, so maybe that's why.

Yeah, I ended up watching a lot of shows too but also dropped quite a few like Wandance (not because of the CG, but mostly because I couldn't care about the story), Mechanical Marie (this one has AI art, so it was an instant drop), OPM S3 and Cats Eye remake. So my favs are the Gintama spin off and WMMAP, the latter even made me want to check out the manhwa too! I'm currently reading it alongside watching the show. There are a few changes, but I'm still enjoying seeing it animated!

I think I'm the only one who doesn't hate the new designs for Let's Play xD As for the webtoon, it was completely deleted from the app so now I can't see how far I got, but probably around 100 chapters or so. I've heard it's super smutty?? Which was shocking cause I didn't remember it that way lol. I also dislike a lot of things about the story though.
Oh, the funny thing is that TBATE anime has a higher score than OPM S3 xD

Ghostblade always did his best, but was so awkward haha. The fact that he doesn't talk with people is not helping lol. Poor Smile, he seemed nice :') If X doesn't count, then my favourites would be Queen (she's so cool!) and Lucky Cyan! Nice was interesting at first too, but I'm not sure how I feel about him overall. What didn't you like about E-Soul? I think he is my least fav as well, but mostly because his arc was the most boring to me haha.

I've read a little over 200 pages of the LOTM novel and, as expected, the show skips a lot of details. I was a bit lost while watching, but now everything makes sense. First volume has around 1000 pages and that's what was adapted so far, apparently. Which is kind of crazy O.O
Definitely agree with Kaoru Hana. It also doesn't help that it can be a little too sweet for me sometimes. But that's not the show's fault, it's on me haha. Oh yeah, I saw that Kaiju No.8 ended, so S3 will probably be the last, I assume?

Yes! xD Is this another Kaoru Hana case, but on a whole nother level? I'm not sure, but it would've just worked better for this type of story. Like, I find it hard to believe the two girls even became friends in the end, after all that happend.

Mizi definitely seemed like a "proper" main character xD A second season would be awesome though! I'm not satisfied with leaving things like this. But omg! That comic about Mizi was fantastic! When Till told her how he liked her because she was pretty, her face was so scary! And she's definitely traumatized from seeing so many people die before her. The only comic I read about Till and Ivan is "Scars", but I want to read all the ones that are available.

Oh, it is controversial but thankfully not SA. Though I immediately had to google after and see if something like that will ever happen again because... yikes. Apparently Jinshi and Maomao's relationship will only get better from there on, so yeah.
Btw do you have a favourite opening or ending song from the Apothecary Diaries anime? I actually prefer the endings more in S1 and the openings more in S2. But if I had to pick a favourite, it will probably be the first ending from S1! I just love that song so much haha.

Yeah, I suppose Reo has to focus on their next game now since he's seen how even a genius like Nagi can get eliminated so easily. But still, I felt bad for Nagi :') If we don't see more of Nagi and his thoughts I'm gonna be really mad!

Yeah, I don't know, it's just something very disturbing to think about. Like if she chopped his head off, I wouldn't have been so disturbed lol. MiA could have been such an amazing show, it had huge potential imo. But the most recent season was kind of meh. Hope things will get better in the sequel.

Yeah, Winter 2026 is pretty exciting!! But Fall 2025 has some I'm looking forward to seeing as well, like OPM S3 and especially Let's Play anime adaptation! I remember reading the story on webtoon, so seeing it animated would be nice and nostalgic!

Personally, I'm happy there's gonna be S2 since this first season mostly introduced the main characters and the "real" story is gonna start from here. I don't know. Oh, that's exactly what I've experienced with Dandadan! I'm enjoying S2 so much more than the first one. I just love the found family trope and looks like Okarun has found such a nice little group haha. It's too bad the anime doesn't work for you, because I'm starting to get the hype! But ngl I might go back to watch Call of the Night S2 when I have more time, since now I'm slightly curious lol.
I'm so happy to fully dive into the donghua as well! Only watched 4 eps so far and I feel like this show is better if you just binge it. There are so many details and lore.
As for my favourites, Toilet Bound Hanako-kun S2 Part 2 is definitely my number 1! I just love the story and characters so so much haha. But The Summer Hikaru Died and Kaoru Hana are also really good! My least favourite is Kaijuu No. 8, the story is just so meh for me. I love Hoshina as a character though, so I keep watching just to see him xD

Ah, Takopi's Original Sin. For me, the ending ruined everything. I just hate it when there's a story that has such heavy themes and shows many disturbing scenes, yet it refuses to commit until the end, because there's no way they could've gotten a happy ending like that. Especially since we were shown time and time again how their fate is basically doomed. While Takopi tried to help, by the time he comes to Earth, their traumas are too deep to just "fix". The sad part is that I was enjoying the show a lot before the last ep. It wasn't perfect, but I was looking forward to each ep. But yeah, I could rant about the show all day xD

I totally understand why you'd think that, it's too bad we probably won't get an antagonist as interesting as Makishima. For the record, I just remembered that there was another bad guy (Togane) but I completely forgot about him xD Oh yeah, I don't mind people sharing what they didn't like about my favourites either! Sometimes I can even see the flaws they're mentioning and still like the show haha.

Yep! But I'm not a big fan of the Dokja x Sangah ship, not only because I prefer Sooyoung x Sangah or Dokja x Sooyoung, but also because their relationship seems more platonic to me. I understand not liking Sangah, especially if you compare her to the other KimCom members, but I actually liked her from the beginning haha. They really need someone like her in that chaotic team xD

Lazarus was the same for me, I was really excited for it, but can't believe the ending was that dumb. Omg which one got a 2? I've seen 6 Mappa originals, Zankyou no Terror, Taisou Zamurai, Bucchigiri, Zenshu, Re-Main and Lazarus. The best one was Zenshu, while the worst was Lazarus lol.
Yeah, for Wind Breaker S2 the fights somehow weren't as interesting as in S1. Thankfully there were lots of wholesome moments! But omg Suo and Nagi share the same VA? I didn't know!! Crazy how Sakura and Reo do too haha. So besides them, Yuuma Uchida also voices Kyou, Megumi and Teru, so many important characters! For me a VA like that is Nakamura Yuuichi, which is probably a very popular opinion haha. But he's the only one that comes to mind that voiced lots of characters I really like 🤔
Shoushimin S2 - the main duo is definitely more interesting than that previous guy, even if I still really enjoyed the eps that featured him lol. I think the anime caught up with the novel now? I really want to see more too!
Anne Shirley - yep, that would've been better. But I guess the anime will probably adapt 2 volumes in 24 eps, which shouldn't be so bad.
The Dinner Table Detective - This was such a filler show xD Definitely would've liked to learn more about Kageyama or the Inspector. Also, why doesn't anyone recognize her? It's not like she's using a very good disguise lol

Yeah, 86 had an amazing adaptation. I wish they would continue it because this is the kind of story I love watching more than actually reading it, mainly because of the mecha fights ^^;

I didn't know Link Click and To Be Hero X had the same director, but that certainly gives me hope! Yeah, the characters change every 3-4 eps. But I really want to know more about X (the white hair one), because he's by far the most mysterious figure and barely appeared so far! I don't want to set my expectations too high, but I want a crazy ending! One that ties everything together super well.

We kinda watch the same shows, except that I couldn't bring myself to continue Call of the Night or Sakamoto Days. As for Lord of Mysteries, the donghua's been really good so far! Watched the first 3 eps when the weather was very gloomy and that was the perfect vibe haha. I'm a bit behind on reading the novel as I've only read what they adapted on the first ep, but I'll try to catch up too. I'm happy with all the ones I was excited for this season (for once lol).

I think the Sybil system is presented as evil because Akane is now aware of how many flaws it has, when in S1 she truly believed in it 100%. I really wanted to see more after S1 ended, so when I noticed there's a sequel, I was really excited! Though I can see why people would be disappointed if there's no more Makishima. And also the new girl was really annoying!

Chapter 302 was one of the most, if not the most painful one until now. I never thought I'd see Nagi cry like that... but even the fact that he loved something enough to cry over it is huge development, in a way :') It makes me think of those tarot cards and how Nagi got Death, which basically means a new beginning or rebirth, so I'm confident he will return. Yup, I'll probably reread the entire manga after it's over, just to see how it feels to binge it. It's pretty rare for me to actually reread manga from the beginning, but I really enjoy Blue Lock haha.

Yeah, maybe it's wishful thinking but ORV would deserve it way more than Solo Leveling :') Ohh I'm also curious if you'll like Joongdok! To me, it's the one ship that makes most sense (you'll see what I mean at the end of the novel!) but I guess I could see why someone would like Dokja with someone else too. Uriel will also appear frequently, so you'll definitely see more of her! As for the live action, yeah I don't know what they were thinking!! I'm afraid they're gonna change the original story of Orv too much... I might still watch it just to see where it goes, but I don't expect too much.

The latest season was the most disturbing to me, more specifically, what happens to Reg. But I agree that psychological horror is usually scarier! Gorey anime can even turn out a bit goofy, like Corpse Party for example xD

But Kafka wears shorts and tights though, so that has to count for something too xD Still, 2 out of 60 is not looking very good...

Lazarus - I seriously considered dropping this, ep 8 was pretty good with Chris' backstory but it feels like we're not making real progress at all. I doubt it can get a good ending without feeling rushed.
Wind Breaker S2 - yes, Sakura's character development is so fun to watch! I'm actually not watching it for the fights at all, but more for the wholesome moments (and I really like Suo haha)
Kowloon Generic Romance - yeah I didn't know what bothers me exactly about this show but it might be what you said, the characters. And how Kudou treats Reiko, I don't care about their romance at all. Gwen and Miyuki are better xD My fav character is definitely Yaomay though.
Shoushimin S2 - This is probably my favourite this season! I'm enjoying it more than the first season actually, probably because of Osanai's plans haha. She is such an intriguing character! And I love the visuals as well.
Anne Shirley - Thinking of dropping this one too. It's still pretty good but the pacing is not helping at all. The book has a lot more details even if it moves quickly too. I'm close to finishing the first book (which ends with Matthew's death I believe) and I think I'm gonna continue the story in book form.
The Dinner Table Detective - I find it hard to believe detectives can be this stupid xD But it's entertaining I guess, so I might as well finish it.

Yes, we've had some really good girl band anime last year too, like Girls Band Cry and Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night! I wouldn't say Rock is a Lady's Modesty is quite on their level, but still happy to see more of these kinds of anime coming haha. Your Forma is the worst anime I've watched this season... :')

Wow, so it was a good choice to skip it. I don't think I have hopes for anything MHA related tbh.. such a shame, since I really enjoyed the first few seasons. I might drop the final season if it gets too annoying. I think it will be airing this fall.
I've never heard of the studio that adapted The Beginning After the End, but they don't seem to make good anime haha. Still, even with low expectations it was disappointing?? That alone says a lot!

I'm not completely sold on To be Hero X yet, but there are currently 4 arcs and they seem to be connected somehow which makes me intrigued! I'm also really curious about a certain character. And the animation is incredible!! I love it when a show is a little confusing at the beginning, only for everything to make sense by the end so I have high hopes for this one :3

Now that this season is almost over, it's time for the summer seasonals! I'm super excited about The Fragant Flower Blooms With Dignity, The Summer Hikaru Died and Toilet Bound Hanako-kun since I loved the manga for all three of them! What are you gonna watch?

I actually liked the sequels of Psycho Pass, but idk if it's simply bias or not haha. Makishima still remains the best villain, but Kougami and Akane are top tier characters as well! A friend recently watched Psycho Pass and he really hated it... :')

Aww yes! I didn't think Riou will start to appreciate Tsukasa like Inori does! I was thinking the exact same thing!! Tsukasa is like Dokja with his kids haha, so wholesome. I'm happy the second season was confirmed already, so maybe I will wait to watch it until I'll read the manga. Because I do plan to read it eventually, at some point in time. Sports manga are just so much better animated xD

I have soo many manga/manhwa to check out as well! But I've read some interesting ones so far. I want to hold Aono-kun so badly I could die was the first one I tried because of a youtuber that recommended it, and seeing horror + romcom made me super intrigued. The simple yet cute artstyle makes me think there's a false sense of security and I love to be confused like that haha. Aria of the Beech Forest is probably my favourite out of the new ones I've tried, but it's only 3 volumes :') And lastly, Usuzumi no Hate seems like something I'd love, but I'm not sure what to think of it yet. So many manga to read, so little time. I probably shouldn't watch manga recommendations on youtube since I already have enough I wanna read already lol.

Okay, so chapter 298!!! I never thought Nagi will be eliminated ahhh >.< But personal feelings aside, I think this could lead up to something great. It might be the final push Nagi needed to finally make some progress. But damn it hurts haha. And also the latest chapter (300) broke my heart again. I'm curious how will this be portrayed in the spinoff manga, because I don't think I'll be over this plot twist any time soon :')
Yeah, I don't mind Isagi getting all attention from time to time since he is the main character, but there are lots of other characters that need more screentime. Apparently, NEL arc is way better if you binge it all at once instead of reading one chapter weekly. I didn't try it yet though, but it's supposed to be great.

I hope the anime will be as successful as Solo Leveling's! Oh, that's because Uriel is so silly a lot of times. She's the biggest joongdok shipper too and I completely agree with her xD They just go so well together haha. I also want to mention that Uriel admires Dokja a lot, which is another relatable thing because I respect him too! Truly inspiring how he kept trying to live on no matter what.
Just watched the ORV live action trailer and it doesn't seem like it'll be a good adaptation ngl. And apparently Yoo Joonghyuk will use a gun instead of a sword? I might still check it out just to see how bad it'll be xD

Oh okay, the torture scenes from Orb were quite disturbing, even for me as I'm usually not very sensitive to them. I don't know if you've seen it, but Made in Abyss has some of the most disturbing scenes I've seen in anime o.o
I loved Orb so much, it ended up on my favourite anime! I know the ending was a little disappointing for some people, but it was amazing imo. Loved how everything that happend is basically the book written by Albert! The OP changes are really cool as well! I liked all the main characters, but my favourites are Rafal, Jolenta and Badeni. Totally forgot it is a 2024 anime actually xD
I don't know, something about the atmosphere felt so creepy to me. But yeah, the character designs are hilarious lol. My favs were Tatsumi and Ozaki (the doctor)

I don't think I know any other female characters that wear pants tbh, not in these games at least xD
Robin is really cute! I listened to the album while writing this and I really liked "Sway to My Beat in Cosmos", but "Hope Is the Thing With Feathers" is pretty nice as well.

I can see why you'd be worried and I'm mostly leaning towards scary as well. Like I wouldn't want people to get too dependent on technology, that's never going to end up well. Solarpunk seems like such an ideal concept, so ideal it can probably never be real :') Things are a mess here in Romania too, our presidential elections last year were a total joke as people voted for a far right candidate because of tiktok... thank god they were cancelled.

Yeah, Id Invaded had both uninteresting villains and a confusing plot lol. Makishima is probably the best thing about Psycho Pass haha. Gosick reminds me of Dantalian no Shoka, and that one had romance as well iirc. The light novels for Gosick have a pretty high score here, so I'm having high hopes!

Since the manga is still ongoing, I think it's gonna take a while for Taiki and Chi to finally get together ^^; Kyou questioning the difference between romantic and platonic love made me really interested in his character. I might even try to read the manga after the anime ends, hopefully he'll appear more! Last episode was pretty sad, poor Hina >.<

Your wish has been granted xD I've been fearing the ending for a while, because I think Natsuko's first love was obviously A Tale of Perishing (and Luke), so maybe Zenshuu is what she came up with? I'm not entirely sure I'll like that kind of ending, but it depends. I'm just nervous haha.

I think Nagi's the type that needs a short term goal to feel motivated, so Reo offering just that (turning the game around and scoring a goal) would definitely get him excited. And if that happens, then I absolutely think Nagi can do something cool! The guy is pretty simple at his core, just wants to have fun, but his shared dream with Reo of becoming the best in the world is a little too vague, too far in the future. So he needs something exciting to focus on regularly. But I also hope we'll spend a few more chapters on his slump so it won't feel too rushed. Even better if Reo scores a goal instead! And speaking of, I've finally caught up to date with the manga and I gotta say, people sure like to complain about Isagi xD Like, if he doesn't do anything then he's useless, but if he scores a goal then he has plot armor... I don't even know what would work anymore lol.

Yeah, I know how crazy that is xD I also think reading it in novel form works better, but the manhwa's been pretty nice as well. When stories have this much action, I really want to actually see the fighting not just imagine it, you know? But there are also some other things about the plot that just work better if you're reading the novel.
Ohh the constellation banquet arc is one of my favs as well! And adult Shin Yoosung is a great character too, she has a really sad story though :') Yep, Uriel is pretty relevant in the story! She is quite relatable ngl haha. The manhwa's art is pretty different from how the novel art is, so I don't blame you! Novel art is soo amazing, I had to stop myself from checking out the official art before I finished reading the story, because I really wanted to xD

Omg what was so scary about Higurashi? Well, unless it's a spoiler haha. I'm also trying to find one that could scare me (I don't get scared easily with anime xD). So far, the creepiest one I've seen is Shiki. It's an actually good vampire anime, those are super hard to find haha.

Yep, Ergo Proxy is exactly like that haha. I was also confused in the beginning. Things will start to make sense later on, but it has an open ending, so a lot of things are left for to the viewer's interpretation.
Oh, Id Invaded is sort of like Psycho Pass, but they can access the unconscious mind of criminals thanks to cognition particles left behind at the crime scene. I'm still trying to understand how does that work xD And Gosick looks like a cozy mystery with a hint of supernatural maybe? I'm not sure.
I actually try not to recommend anime/manga I've rated lower than 5, but if I really didn't have any options or if I think that person would enjoy something I didn't like, then yeah I would recommend it! That's the best possible choice you could've made about Koishima xD What a letdown. Apothecary Diaries S2 is also among my favourites this season, along with Toilet Bound Hanako-kun S2! Flower and Asura was also a nice surprise, since they talk a lot about literature and stuff like that, it's right up my alley! Medalist is also really good, especially now that we know more about Tsukasa. I would've skipped this anime, if it wasn't for you watching it haha.

Nah, I do plan to watch the show but knowing this spoiler actually makes me more interested in it! Knowing something about a story can motivate you to get into it, so getting spoiled is not such a bad thing sometimes.

Yeah, I really liked this season! The bad guys were surprisingly more goofy than I expected, well mainly Vein and Felix, because Xiao Liu is still a mystery. But all of them are interesting! Can't wait to learn more about them. CXS's parents are more important to the story than I initially thought. There are still so many questions left, I saw somewhere that S3 will have 20+ eps, which would be great!!

Honkai Star Rail is also on my list of games I want to play! The Gilgamesh-inspired character looks so cool too! That's the reason I got interested in this game, because of the collab with UBW, but also because I've seen some characters that seem interesting (like Blade or Aventurine).

Yep, I've started reading the Apothecary Diaries from the beginning! The anime is pretty faithful to the LNs imo. Because the first season adapted volume 1 & 2, so they don't really skip much. Though of course, the LNs are a little bit more detailed. I also love how we get to focus on the mysteries more. Ohh yeah, I don't remember that part being long in the novel either xD I'm currently on volume 3 and I'll most likely read it along with watching the anime. I have yet to see the famous Jinshi and Maomao scene lol.
Zenshuu being an isekai took me by surprise haha. I expected something different, but so far it's pretty much your average isekai imo. But it's pretty enjoyable! I find it ironic how Mappa has an anime about an overworked animator though xD

And about ORV, to me it's one of the greatest story I've ever witnessed. It's story just doesn't only gets better but exceeded every expections I had. And characters, at first their chemistry might not feel great, but belive me as the story progresses, it gets so good, you start to connect with every character and it's world building is unlike anything ever seen ( except very few other stories). I love it so much, I can't even begin to describe it. I'm not very good at explaining thing. If you know about gigguk, you can watch his video about it. He explained it decently.
