| Love how this show does the transitions from one arc to the next. Every episode feels the same, and none feel like fillers. It's really fun to watch the progress of Takeo and Yamato's friends. Maki-chan's expression when Takeo was talking about Valentines day was hilarious! And finally.... the long awaited Yukika! |

Stormen said: Yamato did mention that she was short on cash during the episode (first time in the entire series) so I doubt ingredients are as cheap as you think :vEven though the cake was a bit over the top (she must be rich or ingredients in Japan are cheap as dirt) but i'm glad she made him something special. |

Takeo was doing back extensions out of a window, fell and barely reacted.... okay lol o__o Takeo was hilarious this episode lolol all the faces This anime makes me look at my life in shame, but you can't help but love it ^__^ Saijou made a brief appearance only :( SUNA... | That was nice, although felt repetitive with the Christmas episode; mainly because Takeo's thirsty friends rely once again on their chick-magnet-two-meters-king-kong friend to arrange yet again a meeting for them. And can't wait for the new girl. She got to be at least nice to Takeo (behind his back) to have any shot at that Suna-D |

| Just finished catching up on the entire series thus far, and I'm really enjoying it. I hadn't been watching it until a friend told me the mains actually confess in episode 3; that was so unusual in my experience that I decided to give the show a shot, and I'm very glad I did. Its great. This episode was full of well played humor. That massive chocolate monstrosity Takeo got was VERY impressive!! I wonder how long its going to be before Takeo finally starts calling Yamato by her first name? |

| the part where he was talking about never clicking with a girl was emotional. despite having the good looks and being there for his friend, he realizes if he never clicks with a girl, he won't ever get one. I think I liked that scene more than the ending of the episode, tbh. you sort of knew the ending was coming but the revelation about why suna happens to be single is more personal and revealing to me. |

Takeo denseness seems to be stupidity! just for the sake of comedy...oh well... it's good to see that the boys are satisfied with just the girls directly handing the chocolates to them...it's very sentimental to Japanese people when it comes to valentine tradition of giving choco. 4/5. |

| While I did find this episode more heartwarming than some of the previous ones, I didn't care for how one-sided it was with the girls doing... well, everything. It seemed to me like Yamato was dropping a hint about the chocolates (intentionally or not). I know Takeo is supposed to be dense, but seeing that he thought of it at the end of the episode, he should have bought those for her if the first place, not just to make up for forgetting to thank her properly. To be honest, in general it seems like the girls have been doing nearly all of the work in the relationships in this show, and it's especially evident with Takeo and Yamato. (Or are we supposed to consider random disasters which Takeo averts as relationship work? Lol.) I think any shadow of a doubt is gone now. While the show originally seemed like it would be a light romance dramady with a good amount of post-confession development, in reality it's been more of a relaxed SOL with varying degrees of humor. For me, this is a bit disappointing. If the idea was to have a relationship-centered slice of life-type story, it should have started with Takeo and Yamato already together. This would have allowed the audience to join in in wonder how such a couple ended up together in the first place, which could have made for a strong reveal later on. Even for a slice of life, however, I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of character or plot development. I feel like there needs to be one or the other. As a counter-example, Isshuukan Friends was similar in that it was a relationship-focused slice of life, but despite having only a small amount of character development, there was a plot progression tied to the characters' relationship. This, in my opinion, is better than what Ore Monogatari has offered as a light/heartwarming anime with light drama elements. Isshuukan Friends doesn't misled the viewer, and it does what it does (showcasing cute relationship interactions) better than Ore Monogatari overall despite Ore Monogatari being better in some respects near the beginning (i.e. Takeo & Suna's relationship is better developed than Hase & Shougo's). In the end, while I'm left with a fluctuating slightly-above neutral to slightly-below neutral impression of Ore Monogatari, Isshuukan Friends was very cute and fun to watch all the way through, and in Ore Monogatari's case it's soured a bit more thanks to the extremely promising first few episodes which it was never able to live up to. I kinda doubt my views on this will change within the last few episodes, but it is possible my overall view of Ore Monogatari could be improved slightly if the last few episodes (which I imagine will focus on Suna) are as strong as the first few. tl;dr: If you've enjoyed Ore Monogatari, you should definitely give Isshuukan Friends a try. It does everything Ore Monogatari does in a more engaging and consistent manner (minus the somewhat weaker male-to-male friendship), and is more entertaining as a whole. |

| The ending of this episode now that I think about it, the only thing that I want to see in this anime are: Large time skip Takeo and Yamato already married (probably won't happen) Some development for Suna as the guy deserves it... even random classmates got more romantic development than him after all :) |
| This episode was very cute! It was nice to see the girls get together and make those chocolates! The boys were very happy too. :) Yamato was very sweet when she delivered her special chocolate to Takeo. <3 LOL at Suna for simply walking past them and going straight home. Looking forward to Suna's 'romance' next :) |
