do you prefer to just watch one show from start to finish or switch around between two or more shows in case you get bored of one.

I watch six finished shows at once. every time i want to start watching an episode, i number the shows from 1 to 6, and throw a dice, depending on the result i watch the anime which number was chosen by the dice blessed by the gods of animu.

Watch one show from start to finish while watching airing shows.

Anime is good, fucking deal with it.

I watch whatever is airing and 2 shows that have already finished airing. I switch between the 2 shows when not watching the airing anime.

I kinda do whatever, right I'm "actively" watching 2 completed shows plus a bunch of airing stuff. I might pick up another just to mix things up. I do tend to marathon shorter shows as the two I'm watching right now are HxH and Gintama.

Marathon all the time, rather stay focused on 1 story instead of having to switch between some.
Reason why I dont watch currently airing show (except for some long running shows; One Piece / Naruto Shippuuden)

Depends. I'm currently watching Bleach and it seems impossible not to get bored (at least at the filler parts). So I switch to something different all the time.

The last time I properly marathoned something was Mawaru Penguindrum, before that was Shinsekai yori...ah good times.
If I marathon something then it's a clear indication it will be a favourite of mine.
Now i just switch between shows.

When watching a completed series. I watch it from start to finish while also watching my airing shows but a completed series takes me no more than two days to finish.

There is no real pattern either way, it depends on how much time I have and how many currently airing shows I'm following. Also whether I'm watching it dubbed or subbed, since I finish dubbed stuff much faster.

I usually just marathon completed series, but if they're pretty lengthy I might alternate. When I'm keeping up with airing series I usually throw in a few completed series to watch while I'm waiting for new episodes.

I have no problem with forgetting the settings and even the minor details of a series so I choose to watch many completed series at once + the ones that are currently airing. But if a series is really good I tend to marathon it without thinking that I have to, I just pay more attention to that one.

As I only watch Anime when I buy it on DVD / Blu-Ray I just watch whatever I get, if I buy multiple though I'll watch whatever is alphabetically first (so I don't have to spend ages trying to decide what to watch first) and won't watch any of the others until I'm finished with that one.

If it's really interesting I'll marathon it. If it's alright but kind of exhausting to watch, as I find most movies and TV shows, I'll switch back and forth between other series.

Basically this. For episodic shows, I might watch several of them at once. It let's me digest the show better because the pacing of episodic shows tend to be a lot faster because they have an entire story to tell in the space of an episode. So right now I'm watching Lupin III. Alongside it, I'm watching whatever other show that's shorter.

And my mood. Episodic series are easier to watch alongside other shows. Sometimes I try to mix up heavier shows with lighter ones too. Other than that I tend to stick to one at a time.

It depends on my mood and the show, really. There are times where I either watch a whole bunch of one show in one sitting and then there are times where I'm watching one episode of one series and then another episode of another series...

I like when I watch one show in big chunks over time, but there are some other episodes of other things in between. Sometimes it helps to keep my anime viewing interesting, but sometimes if the show is good enough I'll just keep watching that until the very end.

I always watch something from start to finish. Unless there is a very serious reason, and I hape to put that anime on hold.

If I watch 2 anime at the same time, I will definitely like one more than the other, and that will cause a drop in the rating of the least good. I don't want that to happen, so I only watch one at a time.
