You made me want to read this "La Plaine en Flammes" your talking about, I'll definitly have to keep a look for it.

Regarding your haikus, I find them well done actually. I really like how you paint a picture about "dead nature". really comtemplative stuff. Do you measure your rhythm?
I'm really happy you think they are good. In a sense, the fact that you appreciate them feels to me like the structural form they have as "sort-of Haiku" is done good enough that the feelings and impressions in them carry out even for a non native french speaker. It gives me confidence to continue in that way.
I'm not used to measure the rhythm when I do poetry, I prefer to let it flow and then the scansion usually comes very naturaly. The most important to me is that it "sound right" when I read it in my mind, with the reading pace I intended. So I don't give too much importance if in the end the traditional metric is not respected, or if there is a sligh "friction". The only thing I really care about is that it "feels right" to me.

If you don't mind I'll show you my latest "creation"
I like it, I find it very good. Made me think of other poetry I read in the past (sadly right now I can't quite remember any author that gave me this same mood and vibe your poetry gives).

it's nice exchanging some personal writing like that, I find it kind of stimulating, so I might write you other ones from me if I feel like it in the future, and I invite you to do the same ^^ .

Regarding French Je crois que Je sais assez pour me defendre
Haha ! Super ! You look pretty good at it, indeed.
I kind of feel like teasing you, so I'll write some of my message in french, as exercise ^^

I've read both Madame Edwarda and Ma Mère, they are different books, If I recall correctly Ma Mère wasn't completed and I didn't like it too much

Other than that, not too long ago, I started writing a short collection of "haiku" (or at least japanese vibe short poetry, in 3 verse), on the theme of animals, and personal experiences in my life about animals and such. Maybe I can write here one or two of them for you ?
If one day I would be able to insert them in a poetry book I would have been able to publish, I would be very happy.

How's filming going?
I'm not too sure what you mean by that.. but I'm not in cinema faculty anymore since this summer. I'm back at the point were I don't do any study, but that's ok with me , and I'm trying to do other things: I'm actively learning Japanese (Re-reading raw chapters of "Yotsuba!" as exercice and learning the kanji with a manual. It's going slowly but surely, and it feels nice to be progressing) , and I'm also getting myself into oil painting. I have ideas, and I'm learning the basic to get started, so far I just need the courage to really get into it.. hopefully before chrismas. The movie/writing projects are on hold, but still there.
And you ? How's the french learning ? Doing good and all in life ad with your artistic ideas (writing comics and such) ? I hope so.

Since our last messages, I read "Le bleu du ciel" by George Bataille, and it was very good, especially from the second half to the end, the writing was great. Made me think of "La Nausée" by Sartre (I know I must have talked about it with you, but I don't remember if you have read it or not.. if not, you really have to).
And right now in fact (I was book in hand before I saw you posted a new message here), I just started reading "Ma Mère" ("Madame Edwarda" , it's the same). Already seems like it's going to be a good read aswell.

Nice to have news from you !

I haven't read any Georges Bataille, and it's a real shame, I don't even know myself why I never took the time to, because I do know that author and that he is very good (my brother praised him and his writing a lot back in the days) . You are giving me the good reminder to get myself to try his works. Doesn't surprise me that Maruo would adapt one of his work, since his writing looks very "Ero guro friendly" , for what I can grasp.

I'll be sure to give you feedback if I read some novels of him in the near future.

>Have you checked out Palepoli?

I haven't yet! I put it on my PTR list, though. Incredibly interesting mix of art style from what I've seen so far, so I anticipate it being something that'll keep me entertained - I see you've rated it a ten so I'm pretty confident of this.

Que bueno que al menos las escenas de acción hayan quedado bien. No quería que quedasen como en el nuevo anime de Berserk, kek.

Also, la seiyuu de Cibo es Hanakana. *wet dream*

¿Qué tal el CGI en la película de Blame?
