Yeah absolutely! :)

Okay, the second one seems even more interesting to me but so inaccessible personally ahah. Indeed I'm not sure that it's a very profitable environment for the future, I think that universities are also shaped by some dominant ideologies and that it's sometimes difficult to express different or more controversial opinions. I'm talking about the feedback I've read/seen from people I know lol

Regarding artists, I mainly follow these:
https://twitter.com/kuroneko_no_pei (my favorite)
https://twitter.com/shuu_Illust
https://twitter.com/raphaellacoste
https://twitter.com/rezaafsharr (<3)
https://twitter.com/yokaibanish
https://twitter.com/marutsubame3 (photography)
https://twitter.com/wisdafuzuo
https://twitter.com/poti1990

Maybe follow these for starters? :)

My interests are too many too mention but economics , music (classical, rock ,folk) anime/movies , books just to name a few
All right. Are you planning or already studying economics?
I was asking out of curiosity and whether you planned to explore other things besides animation or film but I see. :)

thanks for the help you don't see a lot of people like yourself on the internet these days.
Don't mention it haha. It's true that the Internet is a place that quickly disappoints when you realize that some people sometimes talk/write with a certain arrogance, coldness... we wish things were different but it's not always the case. Finally we always find people who understand and appreciate us for who we really are. :D

i will be sure to ask you but is this the only way to contact you on MAL
I would like to tell you that I have a Discord account but I only use it for private conversations with some close friends and on a couple of friends' private servers. Otherwise, I could tell you Twitter, but here too I mainly use it to follow my favorite artists, find fanarts or beautiful pictures (mainly landscapes, I'm fond of <3). I can use it to communicate but it's very rare. AniTwitter is not really the best place. However I think there are some very interesting groups of people that you could hang out with, I don't know them personally but they are open minded and rather cultured people ~

The movies are supposed to be seen in one session without interruption, otherwise you will pay for movie tickets for several sessions. (I'm not talking about the movie series ofc) Regarding the series, I'm not sure you should watch them in one sitting. Most of them only show one episode per week so I guess we can follow them in several parts. Personally as I hardly have time to watch anything in one sitting so I have to cut my viewings this way haha. But you should avoid it as much as possible especially when it comes to watching movies. For series, it will depend on the structure, episodic series won't be watched the same way as a running story.

I'm a teenager btw
I see and what are the things that interest you the most? I don't think I can be very helpful but don't hesitate to ask. :)

I think you can always find time no matter what your schedule is. Of course, some things are still a priority, but I still think that regularity is an absolute necessity. For example, in the morning during my breakfast before going to work, I watch an anime episode. Then in the train (going and coming back), I can continue to read my novel. Once back home, I can watch a movie during my dinner. And before going to bed I read a manga. This is not necessarily my typical day, but it is an example of how you can fit leisure into a busy schedule. :D

To be honest, I had less work when I was still a student (in the early years) than I do now. Right now I may not do anything for a week, but if you're wondering why I was able to see/read all those things, it's partly a matter of organization and also the fact that I'm 28 years old. I don't know how young you are but maybe by the time you reach my age you will have done a lot more. ;D

Sorry for the essay lol. It looked smaller when I looked at it before.

If you're willingly to spare some time for putting watch time into either show, I definitely recommend both.

Katanagatari may seem slow at first for some viewers - as it is very dialogue heavy and each episode is up to 50 mins. But that's a good thing if - like I said - you're willing to put time into it. Because of the amount of story telling, it's able to do an astonishing job at world building and character development, bringing you closer to the world. It also includes some decent romance between the main characters (if you're into that), entertaining humor, and a dramatic story that would definitely impact you. The animation and music is also really unique and I love them both! (I actually have a couple tracks saved on a playlist)

Would recommend Katanagatari if you can keep your patience cool 👍

Shiki is also a show that may seem slow at first. For some people, it was supposedly boring at first, but it also does a good job at taking it's time at developing all the different characters who are present and creating a clear and grabbing story. It's based around two different protagonists, you get to experience both of their perspectives and learn more about the struggles and characters around them. If you're into a good horror TV-show, I definitely recommend it - as the story definitely has some really good twists in the beginning and even later on among the fascinating plot. Without spoiling anything, all I can say is you'll be questioning on who you'll be routing for and what's right or wrong. It's another story that will also leave an impact at the end and toy with your heart strings. Nevertheless, Shiki is even able to toy with your heart even more with only the 2 extra specials it provides to you, leaving you to ponder even more: which show's how well made it is. The art style and animation is a favorite of mine, as it really feeds to the creepy vibes. The music and opening is also a favorite of mine: I'm able to use the soundtrack as a lullaby or music to study to, since I find it beautiful artwork.

You've probably already seen my scores for both of them, but 10/10 for both series.

Would definitely recommend 👌
