| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was intense, from the batter swings to the creative plays! The episode felt a bit dragged though with the shifting between some scenes but was overall solid. And welp, that's a pretty high level pitch there against Mei. No wonder it's a strike. I'm fairly impressed by it and I don't blame Mei for getting a bit ticked off. |

| Carlos with that save. Sigh, I sort of felt that Tanba's injury was for the sake of getting the "mc" to play in the most crucial moment. Still, Tanba put in quite the fight. Liked how they said they will bring Tanba to the mound again. Seido being driven to the place where they seriously can't afford to lose. Sawamura's pitches... they were amazing to see him make it through with that aggressive style in such a crucial place too. One mistake would had caused them the game but that didn't stop Sawamura at all! Mei getting to experience Sawamura's pitches ^^ Quite the good episode and it feels sorta like a psychological battle too. Looking forward to more Sawamura action! |

| Lovely! Mei just got a taste of his own medicine :D Tanbas injury definetly is a plot convenience to make Sawamura play. im fine with that bc i wanted to see him play..especially vs Mei who ididnt even take him serious. |
| Must've been a heartbreaking moment for Tanba to be taken off the mound, especially not having even pitched for that many innings. I like how mature and what a team-player Tanba is. It showed for a moment that he was shocked, but then the way he told Eijun that Eijun is the "ace" now, that was amazing. Such encouraging words for the next pitcher. And Eijun delivered too. His daring inside pitches is what makes him so interesting as a pitcher. As for Inashiro, Carlos's catch was incredible. Not everyday you see that kind of play. And Mei being super pissed off at the end. Miyuki read him like a book! |
| YESSSS!! Eijun finally got to pitch! I'm so happy! It was sad that Tanba had to leave the mound, and I felt sorry for him. But deep in my heart I really wanted Eijun to pitch >.< Great episode, really intense. Watching this for over a year now, and I have never missed an episode! So good! :D |

| Fantastic episode, yet again this was so intense! That save from Carlos was crazy, he sure is fast. *insert racist joke here* Loljk. xD Tanba's 'injury' was really unexpected but thank goodness the rest of the team put their trust in Sawamura. Sawamura was able to pull off 3 consecutive insides; even Narumiya was frustrated! My goodness, that was such a hype moment. When Sawamura fist bumped with Tanba, I almost lost it. Sawamura is finally shining! :DDD 10/5 |

| Holy shiiiiit. Tanba :-( I feel SO bad for him I mean jesus this could be his last game. I teared up when they told him they'd put him on the mound again. Fuck ;v; But ADFKJDSLKFJKDF I fangirled when Eijun came on. GAHHH Eijun you're too cool ;v;;;;;;; ILYSM. I was grinning like an idiot when he got Mei out in three balls. For this game, the only thing left that I want is for Haruchhi to be a fielder. Mei is seriously growing on me. He's like my third/fourth favorite now. His pissed off face is so cute |

| They finally put Sawamura in, and the three pitches to the inside made it super intense. Hopefully we see our little guy take it even further. |

XD I have a feeling Haruicchi will be replacing his brother, maybe in last inning... or if not, the next game. I can't see Ryo-san going on like this with his injury. :( |

| Is it bad that I was happy when they had an excuse to switch Tanba out? Seriously, even if he has a new change up pitch, he hasn't even used it effectively against such a strong team like Inashiro. His plays are just so plain. When they announced that the new pitcher would be Eijun, I was like "dis gon' be gud!" and he didn't disappoint. Eijun's plays are so simple yet ridiculous but they work so well. I love how everyone in the audience is like "lol three inside pitches" and Mei's like >:( This episode shows that the best player on the team is actually Miyuki because Eijun right now still isn't at his full potential in terms of skills but he (Miyuki) manages to bring out the best points in Eijun (as well as Tanba, Furuya and the other guy) |
| Felt bad about Tanba but... SAWAMURA'S FINALLY ON THE MOUND!!! The game/show is always so much more intense when he's pitching. Tanba telling Sawamura he was now the "ace" and fistbumping was a nice touch. 2 innings left. OSU!OSU!OSU! x3 |
