Eijun earned some interesting comments for his efforts. Otherwise, I'm proud of the kid for coming this far. That ending is really something though. Felt somewhat different from some of the other episodes. |

| The last pitch against Maki!!! The best pitch being an unpredictable one in Miyuki's eyes xD Winning 8-3 against Sensen and off to the finals!!! Sensen crying as they are always the ones stuck in the semi-final. Not really used to hearing Sawamura being called Eijun and (especially) Ei-chan! His junior high friends! Wakana attracting plenty of attention ^^ |

| For those who don't understand. It was called a crossfire pitch because Sawamura stepped with his foot to his left (his pitching side) instead of in front of him and proceeded to swing his arm across his body (even if it was an accident). Making it look like the ball crosses the plate diagonally. Hence the term "Crossfire". Eijun x Wakana ftw. Can't wait for next week as always. |
| The game went by fast. I have a feeling they will lose in the finals. Maybe not, but Sawamura going to the nationals first year seems too impressive. |

| I love Eijun's friends from junior high. Eijun is definitely their "Perfect Hero" :P Inashiro coming up! They said it was just one more until koushien, but I would say it's still one more. |
| Whew, scared me for a second when he stepped too wide. I thought he would twist his hip/injure something from forcing the throw. Turned out he made it just fine. Crossfire pitch just sounds cool. :> And a series that shows the school going to nationals!? Finally! Usually there are never enough episodes to cover it, but since this got an extension.... ^^ Unless they lose the next match. It's very possible, but that would suck after getting so far! Ryousuke joining in on Sawamura's abuse, hahaha. That was cute. (Holy crap, I can't wait for the Kominato OVA!!) |

Small info like that help you enjoy certain sports anime more. I would probably love this series if I actually watched a lot of real life baseball. Until just a few minutes ago, I actually didn't know fouls counted as strikes but only up to 2. I was always confused at when batters got out after only one strike in previous episodes. But yeah, that was a pretty sick pitch. Sawamura's character grows on me every episode haha. |

| Awesome! How Eijun got over his problem was awesome! Dat cross fire pitch!! Totally loved how Wakana was looking away when he looked at her. Tsundere alert <3 And how he immediately focused on her right away ^^ These 2 are so in love >.< Totally lol'd at the jealousy when they saw Wakana. Dat Body :3 I hope we see more of her later hehe, lol'd at how he got kicked harder than usual XD If this anime didn't get an extension I would've thought they'd lose nxt match but since they got an extension no way r they gonna lose...or so I hope >.< |

| Was confused for a moment there when Nori was suddenly the one pitching even though the coach said Sawamura would still be pitching... | THAT WAS SUCH A GREAT GAME. Sensen's pitcher crying. That got me in the feels. Eijun's crossfire pitch was so awesome! Really enjoying the series lately. Bumped from an 8 to a 9. Eijun x Wakana is cute, but I prefer the girl manager. Kuramochi's reaction though. One more win for the nationals!! ;v; |

| I love the whole "Eijun is our hero" theme they use whenever the childhood friends show up. I cry. LOAD said: One more win for the nationals!! ;v; Ugh I got spoiled too. | One of my favorite scenes animated... Hahaha. Kuramochi learning who Wakana really is. LOL. He is jealous that Sawamura has a girl. It feels like they have sped up this match since I remember this being a bit longer in the manga... oh well. Time to see Sakurazawa vs. Inashiro. It would have been good if the Sakurazawa has some sort of screen time before (like having them battle Seido in a practice match) but we practically know nothing about them. Oh well, I feel like they will be fodder to show the skills of Inashiro. Wanna see a better game here than Seido vs. Sensen. |

| Cross...fire pitch? Wow! The beautiful soundtrack strikes again, right before Ryousuke's head chop. Kuramochi making a big deal out of Wakana and the way he said her name as if every syllable had a weight to it (WA-KA-NA GA?!) was hilarious. I want you to pitch with them forever too but... That won't happen, will it... So, was Maki regretting not having joined Seidou? I wouldn't mind if he had, with that height. |

| Poor Maki,felt a bit sry for him,but I'm also glad that he was honest to himself at the end. The team got way better as whole and only one game left before nationals,that's usually the game we're the protagonist team screws up.... |

| Wished they showed us Nori's winning pitch at the end. Congratulations to Seidou, but their game against Sensen was one sided and wasn't that threatening at all like the previous one. Can't wait for the Inashiro semifinal, Mei has been boosting so much that I'm interested of what he's going to do! |

| Eijun you crazy madman, using a total new pitch thats possible with his flexible body. As expected not much of a difficult match seeing how we only got the highlights of it and skipped through the rest, time for the finals. |
