| Ugh. Just... ugh. Wow. I feel pathetic watching this. "Uguu"? Is she supposed to be a high schooler or a five year old? The whole feel is too bishoujo-based cutesy. I almost most feel kind of sick watching this. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood to watch this... So already have low expectations for this, but then again, I hated Clannad at first, although it kind of grew on me. So I guess I'll stick with it. |

| A great start of the re-mastered Kanon! I've first watched the 2002 version of Kanon and I have to say IMO the first one started of better! They are in mostly everything similar other than just a couple slight differences. The only thing that I disliked is the way they introduced almost every character already in the first episode, okey you don't know this but you'll later will, rather than with the 2002 version that they only where introduced when they had their arc! Either way the animation and art is way more improved as expected and I hope to get another great kanon feeling like I had with the 2002 version! |

| Hrmmm, an okay start however sort of hoping it will avoid going full on harem, I didn't really mind the way it was setup in Clannad so preferably no more harem-like than that. Going to take a shot in the dark and guess that Ayu is the heroine of this story... I just hope she is older than she looks. |

| Nice first episode, I have high hopes for this anime. I already like Ayu and Yuuichi. Nayuki seems a bit clingy though :) I started this and Air because of my love for Clannad. I watched Air first because I was less interested in it and most people didn't like it as much as Kanon and Clannad. However, I also didn't like Air all that much. I gave it a 6 and the Kanna arc a 7. So I really hope this will be good, or at least better than Air. |

| I finished Clannad first, and I dunno why, but some of the character look so much like people from Clannad. That blond look exactly like Sunohahra, the little girl with wing have the same personality as Fuko. But, I really liked Clannad, so I guess I'll try to pass thru that. Not even 6 minutes in and there is already fan-service xD I guess it's pretty clear that he knew Ayu, but she look so young... I guess it's the art style that make that. |

| The awkward moment when you see 0/10. Anyways, having watched the 2002 version first (you may be able to see some of my posts for the original anime), I personally liked the 2002 intro episode more. Subtle changes were made in this remake, and I am disappointed that they did not use the same alarm clock as the original one (yes, that alarm clock.) People shouldn't just condemn the original version based on graphics and art alone. The first episode, while setting the original anime as a benchmark, doesn't really give me a good taste to what a one-mark-higher remake is like. While they do keep to being loyal to the introduction of Nayuki and Ayu, and that Canon in D in the restaurant, the first episode generally lacked the natural atmosphere (KyoAni did make attempts to do so, for instance the colour of the visuals to evoke a warm feel), and some parts feel imposing. However, this is just the first episode and unlike the 2002 Toei version, 23 more episodes instead of 12 more. 4/5 |

| I know it isn't copying clannad but it's characters are very similar. We have Fuko, Sunohara, a Nagisa/Ryou, a guy who is similar to Tomoya (though I am not liking him as much as Tomoya)... First impressions are fairly good, I'm just going to see how it turns out. |

| The music is nice but the characters look absolutely abysmal. I can't stand looking at them any longer (sorry).. I had to hold back the whole episode - I wanted to laugh my ass off because they look damn disfigured. Poor characters |

Yuuichi is similar to Okazaki Tomoya and Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi; Nayuki is Furukawa Nagisa; Nayki's mother is Furukawa Sanae; Kaori Misaka is Fujibayashi Kyou; Jun Kitagawa is definitely Sunohara Youhei; Ayu Tsukimiya is Ibuki Fuuko. |

| Solid first episode. Artstyle and Character Designs alone gave off a Clannad vibe but I'm assuming the next episodes with school life will be more similar. Nayuki's male friend there looks so much like Sunohara too, I must say. I've seen a few of these amnesiac harem-like tales and I'm guessing this'll be one of them. Definitely hooked, looking forward to more! |

| I thought that was a pretty fire first episode. I'm a massive fan of the winter setting (especially since I'm watching around Christmas) and I enjoy the characters so far. It 100% has potential and I'm interested in seeing where it goes from here |

| Artstyle and even characters too looked similar to Clannad, though anyone would say the same who has seen Clannad before this. Also I was kinda half expecting it too, so not too much surprising for me. Guessing from the things we got in this first episode, seems like Yuuichi had encounters with some of those characters we might see later on, in the past. Also that Nayuki girl is his cousin right, so they better not pull something weird there(which I'm highly doubting tbh). Anyways felt like a decent start, so hoping it doesn't loses its track later on. |

FUCK!! It's ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME as the Toei version! I already know how I feel about that version, it started as a 5/10, and ended as a 5/10. The biggest difference I noticed is that Yuichi got his whole "chin to face" ratio surgically corrected. Things make slightly more sense this time, but that's it. I really don't think I'll watch much more of this anime, since it just feels like I'm having one supposedly less repulsive brand of candy corn because "That last brand was just badly made version of a good product, I swear". Maybe one or two more episodes if I feel like it, but probably no more, if even that. |

| I really love this style of Kyoto Animation. They assured me that I would cry like a bitch and here I am, ready. I have to admit that it took me too long to start watching Kanon, mainly because I didn't know if it was necessary to see the Toei version of 13 episodes, so to clear up my doubts, I looked for it and it's not necessary. Kyoto Animation, Romance and Drama, Destroy yourself emotionally, there is no better combination. |

| So far, this feels like Clannad 2.0. I haven't checked which anime or VN came first, but I saw Clannad first a long time ago. The scenario looks different, but I see only Tomoya, Nagisa, Tomoyo, Sonohara, and Kyou 2.0. Haha |
| finally checking this out after having the DVD sit on my shelf for who knows how long! i liked this episode, it totally felt a lot faster than i expected! i have superrr high expectations 4 this anime bcoz its by my absolute favourite studio kyoani :3 nice to hear tomokazu sugita, as always. i luv his work in several other animes (￣y▽,￣)╭ everyone is so adorable eheh, the op isn't really my style but i totally bet it'll probably grow on me :3 totes seeing some similarities to clannad though (/▽＼) not a bad thing bc i LUUUUUV clannad |
