Apparently, I just saw that MAL listed Fairy Tail Final as a CloverWorks production. The CloverWorks website has Fairy Tail in their website but the staff list doesn't credit them. Maybe they're producers for the series, I guess? Anime News Network also states that they have involvement, but they aren't listed in animation production. I don't know, what do you think?

I got another one! As soon as I heard this supporting character from 3-Gatsu no Lion I connected him to Shinpachi's voice actor.

3-Gatsu no Lion: just finished S1, what an excellent show! It's unique for sure, the closest I can come to comparing is NHK ni Yokoso - that intense realism and hard-hitting themes presented in a casual way. Kiriyama and Shimada are both really likeable too imo. I think I enjoyed the earlier half of the show more, it felt more intimate and explorative with Kiriyama's perspective. Nice that there's an S2 to look into!

Also our "little vocaloid club" now has well over 100 members :-3

Actually, Ace Attorney S2 is listed as a CloverWorks anime. A-1 Pictures is only producing the series. Again, I got the info from their website. And yeah, I made my assumptions based on the staff list. The name change kinda confused me for a bit, but it was clear that the new studio did not want to be credited as A-1 Pictures anymore.

So far, here's the list of things they both produced to keep in mind:

A-1: Grancrest War, Seven Deadly Sins S2, Wotakoi, SAO Alicization, Fairy Tail S3 (w/Bridge) (5 total)

CloverWorks: Slow Start, Franxx, Persona 5, Seishun Buta Yarou, Dakaichi, Ace Attorney S2 (6 total)

The name change in the middle of production is something peculiar. But I DO want to list them as separate studios for this year. I guess you're right that they were still considered as A-1 Pictures before they split apart in April, so the credit should probably be split.

I don't think that I will credit Slow Start in the list because it wasn't that popular. Usually, in my lists, if a studio did a lot of anime that year, I usually only place popular or higher-ranked titles to prevent the list from getting too cluttered. Slow Start isn't really one of them. However, I guess I'll split the credit for those two titles you mentioned then.

I pretty much decided to keep all my lists from post-2010s (2011 to present) because I stopped caring about the past years.

As for the CloverWorks situation, I will still credit them for Slow Start and DITF, because they were still technically responsible for the production, although they changed their name in the middle of production. I feel that this split will benefit A-1 Pictures more because they have less output and because they can focus on the quality of their future projects like SAO and Kaguya-sama, although the dynamic of the two studios will be interesting to keep track of in the future.

Otherwise, I don't think I will split the credit for Franxx and Slow Start from A-1 and CloverWorks.

Hi, haven't seen you a while. Recently, I stumbled upon an article that stated that CloverWorks has been officially seperated from A-1. I think this means that they want to be considered as seperate studios at this point. I checked the A-1 website and saw that most of the CloverWorks anime were gone, which means that they might want to go their seperate ways. What do you think?

I just watched a Gintama (Season 4) episode featuring this funny supporting character...

Very quickly I could tell by his voice that he was voiced by the same guy that played Ooishi in Higurashi.
I'm pleased to confirm that I was right :3

Let's see if, at least, they manage to make something decent for Android and iOS.
Thanks! It sure is a relief :)

Nice! I'll spend some time today on it ^-^
Hopefully once they release an official app (if they ever do) this messaging/studios thing will be easier... (Even more with DMs)

I had the last round of exams and concerts last week, so I barely connected to the internet. Good thing youtube lets you schedule videos :)

If we're lucky, maybe we'll get the seiyuu/character/studio features before next season begins... If I'm not mistaken, my username is Magikarp23#8314, but I'm usually more on MAL than there (last week was a bit chaotic tho xD)
