The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!

P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.

P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.

Looks like I was a bit late to the party LOL, just finished reading it. Honestly, the ending wasn't that bad, I mean... Manami finally showed her human side, instead of the always perfect childhood friend she always puts on in front of kyousuke and you can't really blame her for that. Also I don't think they animated vol 11 (still haven't watched the final ep yet), but there's a side character story about a red hair girl from kyousuke's junior high days, and that was the reason Manami told kirino off -- because kyousuke's "leave it to me" lifestyle has brought him so much pain.

Anywayyy, it was a decent bittersweet ending, it was good of the author to finish it open ended, yet leave enough clues as to what might transpire. This way, you won't gross out the mainstream folks (keep in mind they're models for a Tokyo train line lol..), and leave us to fill in the blanks. I mean at this point the only thing stopping them is their inability to be independent of their parents right? Kyousuke still needs to go to uni before finding a job, kirino got school and her modeling career, but nothing would stop them from eloping when they become fully capable adults, assuming that you believe their feelings will stand the test of time -- which I do :D Afterwards, they could just change his/her name, move to one of Japan's billion islands, and adopt a kid. Then presto, waifu kiririn true route <3

According to the tl site, it's 85% done :D
But anyway, the game is structured like little busters, where there's these 4 routes that u have to complete, and then there's the final route, and the big reveal.

The main heroine's storyline is epic beyond words, but not in a cheesy kind of way. The protagonist as well as the support characters are also amazingly well written. It's hard to describe what's great about the story without spoiling it, but let's just say they all live in a very interesting universe, with its own sets of rules, that the author created. I also like the fact that the game doesn't rely on deaths (like Clannad), but rather the circumstances of their relationship to be tragic.

All in all, I think the main heroine, Shinku, is definitely my favourite character of all time.

Just finish Irotoridori no Sekai, never cried so hard in my life, probably one of the best VN I've ever read.

I wanna ask you, having finished Hoshizora no Memoria (I haven't finished it yet myself), was the 'true' arc for mare amazing? Since they're made by the same company, I would hate to have missed a great ending if I gave up because the side routes were average.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
