Only reason I'm writing this is because what the fuck final volume of Oreimo. Yes, I know, I'm slow. You've probably finished it a while ago but still, what the f**k.
What is this. Not only is the plainest character actually evil as all hell can be, but then they ended the LN like that... Ship it, but don't ship it? Forever alone? How could they end it like that... ._______. My emotions are in turmoil. ------ ------- --------

Oh and, they're finally releasing a partial patch on Irotoridori~. Can't wait to try it out.

I'm loving what I'm hearing. Looked at all the characters and yes, first opinion of Shinku is kawaii as fuck pls. As for tragedy, anything goes as long as it's well written. Deaths are fine as long as they're dealt with properly.

I'd say if I had ever played it, sorry. Only thing I ever bothered to know about from that VN was the imouto route. Also, that was just watching someone stream.

Also, I'm intrigued. Irotoridori no Sekai made you shed tears and you actually consider it one of the best? That warrants some attention. What was so good about it? Without spoilers ofc, cause I'm gonna be playing it in the near future(Not really, more like in a few years since only the prologue is out).

Yeah I agree with you. Most VNs are just a complete turnoff because they end to be a typical romance story. I've seen enough to last a lifetime, thank you very much :P. I've also sampled many, completed few. Playing a game for a single character then stopping has been what I usually do. "Visual" novels are an interesting, different way of storytelling and I do enjoy it very much. Just too big a turnoff because of the very little difference in almost every damn one of em. But I'll still love KEY. lmao.

You recommended Saya to me a long time ago and I could consider playing it, but I'm the kinda person who just chokes at the slightest eeriness. Therefore, I don't think I'd be able to handle it, no matter how great the story. ;_;

Not too far, as far as I know. Played maybe a handful but that's about it. Not interested in many things unless they're developed by KEY. Very close-minded, I know ;[

Well, maybe not a permanent replacement, as yeah it won't beat the atmosphere a VN/Anime gives, but as a temporary diversion. It helps :D
As for Baldr Sky, I don't wanna ruin it by going in with an unfinished translation patch. But yeah I'll keep an eye out for it.

Well you must've heard some stuff about it. It's half shounen, half naikge. You start as Koutarou, guy who wants to make friends. You have the usual key comedy, like all other common routes. Sadly that doesn't last long as a little after locking onto a route, things take a turn for the worse. I found all the female characters to be love-able, despite some of their cliches. Also, the ending of the game left me thinking, actually linking the dots to make sense out of what happened. Btw, already said it but main route lacks development. It wasn't nearly as long and didn't have much impact. Oh well? Fav route is without a doubt Akane's.

Running out of good anime? Jump on manga yeah? Haha. Yeah I ran out of gas last year trying to watch as much anime as possible. Now no steam and nothing interesting either. Sad ;-;

Already finished it, did a good 5 day marathon. Well, can't consider 5 days to complete it a marathon lol. I liked it despite how short and emotionally lacking the main route was. Maybe I'm just being biased but it's definitely up there in my "definitely recommend" list.

And in worst cases scenarios(example I'm reading Nekomonogatari White but there's no pdf version for iPod), you can create the PDF yourself with PDF Creator. Takes a long ass time of copy pasting though.
