They can go back to any arc they skip for now. Due to Gintama not having a general plot, Sunrise can get away with skipping 6 arc in a row and release them at a later date if they want to. I wouldn't be worried, we are probably going to see the arcs they skipped at some point. |

| Amazing episode!!!! I really love the serious arc and once again we learned more and more about Gintoki's past. How many people have helped him throughout the years?! His Master, Yaemon, Kurokono, Otose etc. I love how they still can insert some funny scenes while maintaining its seriousness :P I knew Marina Inoue voices Asaemon!! They're already talking about the next shogun. So i guess they're going to kill the current one for the new one eh?? Ikeda Yaemon really sounds like Isshin Chiba who voices Jin Kazama From Tekken Series and Master Scythe from Phantom Requiem for Phantom. This is how he sounds when he voices Jin Kazama ^^ Can't wait for the next episodes!! |

| Very emotional episode. It also had corpse jumping! Never seen that before. And one of the best fart jokes in recent memory. Love seeing young Gintoki. Just how old is he anyway? Like in his 30s? |
| Gintoki VS Yaemon please! The new opening took me a while to get used to but I love it now. The new outro however isn't as good as the last one. I like the new OSTs this season of Gintama has. Also, I somehow knew that Gintoki would fart in the barrel xD Gotta go watch the rest of this amazing arc! |

| Damn brilliant. Yet another great female character with Asaemon, if probably without much space for potential relevance. My only gripe is how the original Yaemon kept Asaemon in the dark, playing the criminal and ultimately leaving a great weight on her shoulders. I guess there might be actual criminals among the prisoners he set free. |

| So this entire time, Yaemon was the ringleader, using Asaemon as bait to get rid of Yorozuya. Kind of an asshole move, but okay. Hope we get to see him and Gintoki square off. If anything, this episode just really made me appreciate how much of a quality boost Gintama has gotten since the original series in 480p. The show now looks more gorgeous than most shows we are getting now in 2019, four years later. Good guy 17th-Yaemon saved our boy Gintoki. To think that if he hadn't done so Gintama wouldn't even exist. Hijikata getting scared by Gintoki was funny. Gintoki shoving Lake Toya down that guys throat was awesome. I was hoping Yaemon would be powerful, and oh boy he is. Next episode is going to be great! |

| Dude, what the heck, that last part? The OST was just fucking crazy.. It begun a bit slow but suddenly got louder and louder. Anyway, seems like this arc will be pretty serious. It was pretty funny most of the time, espically when Gin farted right in her face LOL. Hijkita was scared of ghosts xD Seems like one of them or even two will die but I don't think she'll die. Anyway, it was nice to see more of Gin's past and his past after the Joi War. Goddamn, Gintama is improving once again. Quality, OST, animation and storytelling. Shinsuke is appearing next episode, this is getting intense. |
