Maybe it is because the tone, style and entire approach is more relaxed and not entirely serious on the meta level. And while I love Jolyne and many other characters, I think a lot of fights there are weak. The "three sons" are especially disappointing. Then again, the final fight is crazy and certainly a high point. And while I agree that skipping is possible here I would never do it for the first three parts. |

| There's really only one big instance of inconsistency in Stone Ocean. I'd definitely say Part 3 and 5 are the ones with the most amount of problems. Part 3 has a lot to do with him still figuring out/deciding on how he wanted Stands to function though. |

| Well, nothing is perfect, deal with it. But there are cases where the authors of these "imperfect" works can hide it very well, or more likely they don't try to hide it at all, since they are so positively straightforward and usually the "problems" become of minor importance. |

| Simply incredible first ep! I loove David Production's Jojo series and I'm so happy to see them return for Part 3. I've heard it is considered the most popular part so I'm excited to watch more. |
| Just finished season 1 two days ago and yeeeeeeeee this season is so good already. The animation improved a lot and I'm liking everything! Also, ONO DAISUKE AS JOJO AYYYY :D |

| Joseph's awesome as ever, but I don't like Jotaro's attitude towards his mother. I can tell he's fundamentally a good person, but he's got to respect his parents! Also, what's up with their deltoid area? It's drawn weirdly...like flat cylinders. Even in this style, it didn't look like that previously. |

He explained that he reached the limit of what he could do with Hamon and Part 3 was initially supposed to be the final part anyway so he changed the power system to be able to create better fights which is why even Dio's powers change in the middle of the part and some Stand abilities are convenientely forgotten later on. |

| You have to be extremely "lucky" to find that kind of treasure. Joseph has lost some of his "charm" over the years but he is still cool. Jotaro has that bad boy vibe and his mother is too nice. |

| Found Jotaro pretty unlikable in this episode and I'm not that into the idea of stands, I'm hoping both of these things grow on me as it goes on. Also not really liking the idea of Dio coming back. |
| I'm really having high expectations because of how great Part 2 was. I still have to adjust to the fact that Joseph isn't the main character anymore. I feel like he's going to be hard to top but I hope Jotaro can at least be within that realm as the new MC. |
| Holly's so dense that she's cute. Haiii~ Stands are the new main power of the series, it seems :3 They finally pointed out the Joestar Star. I'd like to get a tattoo of that someday. Dio's back and in Jonathan's body...I'm curious as to where the head ended up. |

| Part 3 (or technically the OVA) was the one that got me interested in the whole series in the first place. I only watched a few episodes of the OVA, but that’s enough to intrigue me. I still remembered how amazed I was when I watched this ep for the first time, cuz it revealed a lot more fantastic details than what the OVA had. Basically everything is much better than that in the OVA, from the art style, to the OST, to the voice actors, to the faithfulness to the manga. Lol the title hit the mum in the face when she’s so happy about being treated rudely by her son. Joseph was so funny and his character was so different from that in the OVA. Love the interactions between the father & daughter. I wish I had a dad like Joseph~ |
