| Mado...rest in peace. Humanity suffered a huge loss that day. Lost a person who would do what no one else would do to get results. He was even married...leaving behind a widow. Makes me sad to read in this thread all these people bashing Mado. I hope humanity wipes these ghouls off the face of the earth. |
| After watching the episode all i can think about was that ring in Mado's hand that Touka stared at. Could that meand that Mado has/had a family? Really caught my eye there |

| Why was Amon wearing an eyepatch? I checked the last episode and he had no apparent eye injury. Is this a censorship thing or did the anime take out scenes again? If the former, then what was it covering? His eye looked fine! Also, I really thought the ring on Mado's finger was to do with someone in Touka's past, so I feel silly for not realising it was a wedding ring. |

| The fights were really cool. Kinda laughed when Mado realized he didnt lose his quinque, but his right arm instead. What Touka said was right though, Ghouls didnt choose to only be able to eat humans, they were made that way. They also have feelings, lose people they love / care about. Hope Kaneki can pull himself together, he's going to lose his body to Rize if this goes on. |

| Another awesome episode. 5 out of 5 Just like I said earlier this show really knows how to make you feel bad for someone; I even felt bad for Mado when I found out he had a family and that other guy found him. Post #114 |

| Omg the fight was too lame. I wonder why the MC is so damn pathetic even close to end of the season. The mask looked stupid since he was so pathetic. Otherwise he would look badass. Poor Mado, I really liked him. |

| Interesting, this episode leads me to hope for a confrontation of ideas between Kaneki and Amon. for thr moment, Kaneki is the only character capable of no biased opinion about the two species, at least he sees the bad things in both. Amon is a bit disappointing about his stuborness but it might change. The ring has probably triggered a souvenir from Tôka's relative whose name was on her door. Whatever, she's still annoying. Some good musics. And fights -_- |

| Great episode here with plenty of action and the creepy investigator got killed off finally, Kaneki almost ruined it though with his terrible line at the end how "Ryoko was telling you to live, I believe" but he wasn't even there? what does he base his nonsense on or is just bad writing? |

| Mado is really good but seems the ghouls are slightly better. I can't believe he got his hand and leg chopped off, kinda laughed when he was like "where'd my hand go?" and I kinda rewatched it a few times because the dub just sounded so funny of him saying it, I thought lol. He should've said "where'd my leg go?" lol. Touka doesn't get why the ghouls are hunted, for no apparent reason according to her ... I was like "you're killing humans, that's why you dumbass" - that was the dumbest thing I've ever heard ... "oh gee, we kill innocent people but I really don't understand why they are out killing us" ... oh I dunno why that is Sherlock, it's such a damn mystery isn't it? >> dickhead. Kaneki is the only on apparently who understands that ghouls and humans all have feelings and families apparently, I doubt it ... I'm pretty sure the humans get that but don't care because the ghouls are out killing people for food and sometimes like its sport. It was nice to see Hinami also refuse to kill Mado ... at least her and Kanei have some sort of moral compass. |

| I like how balanced this series is. It doesn't tell you which group to side with, it instead shows the good and bad of both Ghouls and Humans. I think Tokyo Ghoul is a fairly accurate depiction of what could happen if ever there were an intelligent species which solely relied on humans for sustenance. |

| Second amazing episode in a row, I was somehow fond of Mado, even though he was a monster, also interesting to see that even he had a family. I guess everyone has their reasons for the way they behave. Hinami was right on the money, revenge means nothing, the bottom line is that she lost her parents and that no amount of killing will change the fact that she is now alone. Loved it! |

| I found Kaneki to be particularly pitiful from the beginning, but I didn't think it took away from the story because I have not read the manga. I don't know any spoilers either, so I don't have expectations other than the first couple episodes being excellent. But now that Keneki has the mask he at least LOOKS the part. I assume his new image and purpose will help develop him in the long run. |

| Very impoertant episode. It shows the perspective both from ghouls' and humans' point of view on this conflict. Poor Hinami, by the way. She proves that it doesn't matter in this anime whether you are human or ghoul - children suffer in the same way after loosing their parents. |

| For a veteran fighter Mado sure is a fool for not knowing when he is at a disadvantage after the tides have turned against him From the looks of it Mado had some score to settle, probably the reason why he is so cruel towards the ghouls as monstrous as he acts even he has known love |

| Hinami-chan ran away from the cafe not knowing where she'll go unless It's her mother's scent Kaneki finally put on the mask Nobody cared who Kaneki was until he put on the mask fighting Amon denying him from getting into the fighting ground of Touka and Mado Sad to see both sides injured and Hinami has to experience such violent things Mado got killed now sad to see a good antagonist go which would've made the series a little bit more interesting. (Even if Mado is in the afterlife he still haven't forgotten what he's been after for made me smile seeing Hinami's parents chatting a bit and sad) |
