As far as I'm concerned after this is when Part II goes from great to amazing.
I really loved the fight, although not my favorite of part II they did a great job of it.

Quick pacing. Can't believe Jojo's already fought ACDC. There's no way he couldn't have noticed that on his back!

I didn't expect Lisa Lisa to just show them the Super Aja stone, I thought it would be locked away somewhere else.

Hopefully that brain on his back doesn't screw him over too bad, but I still think JoJo's going to suffer the same fate as his grandfather did at the end of the last story arc, dying when just about everything's been settled. I haven't read the manga, btw.

Agreed. The chariot race is the zenith of Part 2, easily.

Beautiful animation in this episode, this is but a taste of what's to come from the other pillar men fights.

I'm starting to like the great mix between clearly wired dialogue, strategic commentaries, and epic battle scenes. Jojo's got an even bigger boost now that it's finally reaching the juicy contents.

Manly as hell. 4.5/5

I felt that the animation in this episode was really atrocious, specially early on.

But, as soon as ACDC started crying, things were more enjoyable. It was delightfully over the top.

Probably my favorite episode so far. Loved it!

I was kinda expecting them to drag the fight out for the next episode, but this was just perfect. Glad to see how well Jojo's ripple has been trained to this point, and the batshit insane fights are just priceless and epic at the same time. Who would have thought ACDC would have cried his guts out for losing an arm? LOL. Joseph was a total badass! Seeing ACDC just barely "living" by clenching to Jojo's back, I guess he has something else planned up his...erm mind(?). He shall not get far!

When it comes to Ceasar, his fight went relatively quick, seeing he is the grandson of Will A. Zeppeli. It was just expected I guess! Dat love and concern for Joseph. Warming.

Well seeing the episode preview, I guess we can expect something shit going down and some fan service of Lisa Lisa. I'm not particular big fan of that, but when it comes to Lisa Lisa, I can easily make an exception there. Wryyyy!

Now that escalated quickly! Fight was so so...but at the end I knew, that, something is just wrong to finish the episode with good scheme lol.

"WTF Why is Stroheim back as it says in the preview!? He freaking blew himself up!"
I did not read the manga but I think he was used by Santana ( as he was in a body of his ).
Same goes to Dio Brande ( but I would be suprised if he knew about it ).

My picture is a spoiler like Snape/Aeris dies is a spoiler.

Talking about probably one of the most awesome events in part 2 that hardly anyone outside of the JoJo community knows, is a spoiler.

Part 3, or rather Dio and his Stand, is like the only thing that most people outside the fandom know about Jojo, it's hard to consider that a spoiler.

Didn't expect ACDC to lose like that considering this creatures are supposed to be highly above the other vampires turned by masks.
This Jojo must really be highly above his ancestor.

One thing that troubled me was the surprised ACDC at the laser the red stone threw. So does that mean that this super immortals actually can't shoot that laser beam thing human vampires turned by the mask can? I didn't saw the use it in their fight ether so maybe the can't. Does it also mean that humans turned by the mask have their eyes become something similar like that stone?

Just for clarification, it's not acid they shoot from their eyes, it's a highly pressurized jet stream of liquid (it's not clarified if it's actually blood or acid).

IIRC according to the manga the Space Ripper Stingy Eyes are aqueous humor that is built up to high pressures and then shot out of the eyeballs at high enough pressures and velocities that it can cut through steel.

tl;dr it's high pressure eye jelly being shot at you.

Ahhh, JoJo, you're so silly. Winning against a timeless overpowered lord with such a simple trick x)

Esidisi (what an awful pun to AC/DC :P ) was soooo annoying. But that crying was just too hilarious and unexpected xD

JoJo is so good at faking situation. He made believe Esidisi that he had won, that was great.

But damn sneaky Esidisi, it look like he's not yet defeated with that brain scotched to JoJo.

Now JoJo have a good advance on Caesar, he have defeated to vampire lord while Caesar have defeated none :P

The episode seemed alright, but I don't like how they basically skipped the 1-2 weeks of training that should have happened after Episode 16, without any explanation at all. Not even a montage!

The fight itself was pretty good, but a bit silly as well. Veins coming out of his fingernails... the crying fit... the line-prediction role reversal.
Don't get me wrong, it gave me a few good laughs, I was just expecting something a bit more epic of a fight from how the show built up these villains.

Anyway, mysterious brain at the end?! ...perhaps there will be a second round, after all.

I feel like Araki was writing that, and was suddenly like "What am I doing? I don't like doing training arcs!" and proceeded to just skip till after the training was over and never drew another training arc in the entire rest of Jojo :P

Also, there was a montage, at the end of 16.

Bizarre is the word not epic, remember it.
Anyway, this was one of the very few training in all entire JoJo saga. Probably Araki thought of giving it a try but he changed his mind. While training can be funny at times, they can give to characters too much strenght, that forces them and forces Araki himself to make the trained characters strong by any means, but that's not the point of JoJo. The good thing of JoJo is actually seeing a fight between two people who have absolutely no idea of how to fight (with the exception of a few ones), they take advantage of the scenary around them and by the intelligence they have they counter the enemy, that's what makes the fights so exciting.

Personally, I'm glad Araki doesn't do training. I've never been a huge fan of that, even in HxH for the most part, and I think one of my favorite things about Jojo and One Piece is that there isn't much of anything involving training.
