Definitely need a second season. That ending is a good sign. Kind of disappointing to see Ichinose stagnating overall while the other two are on the up and up. Also disappointed we never got a Hana Kana appearance.

Good show. One of the better conclusions in a season full of split cours and non-endings (Gangsta, I'm looking at you.). I'm not betting on a second season though. If it happens though, please have more seiyuu and anisong cameos. Having no Kana Hanazawa, Kaji Yuuki or Tomokazu Sugita in a seiyuu anime, whether you like them or not, is an injustice that should be rectified.
I wish Cowboy Bebop never existed.

Ichigo for best seiyuu! i have to say i had very low exceptions going in i just wanted more shirobako and while this wasn't on that level it was the next best thing.

really hope that was a tease for a another season i want one for this and the much needed shirobako! 7.5/10

Nice Ending and Nice anime 8/10 :D

Futaba assessment meet was tough, glad that decision she can stay again. :)

Ichigo providing voice of "Da berry" scary and ugly mascot i think xD

Rin pass the entrance exam :D

i wonder what the Earphone get in the end xD

So Futaba gets another year to prove herself... not exactly the best outcome, but at least she gets to keep the dream alive.. and its a more gradual outcome. She certainly has grown in terms of ability and confidence over the course of the series, which is good.
Happy to see Ichigo get more work too!
Overall I give this a 8. Always been fascinated by VA, and it feels as though im reading a non-fiction book, which is refreshing in some way when it comes to anime. Learnt alot from the seiyuu's world and its nice seeing ups and downs, and being part of their journey through success and setbacks.

Would've loved to see more Konno, she's my fave char.

I thought episode 12 was the final episode.
That assessment was a little bit harsh tho, but nice word to say from Futaba. i like it.
Overall, it was a good story and i enjoy it, but i prefer episode 12 is the final episode. 8/10.

That last minute ending -_-. At least tell me what is he trying to do again

And so the Summer 2015 anime season ends(for me) with Futaba's future still uncertain, but with her receiving more time to grow. I was pretty high on this show early in its run. I even went so far as to say it could be the sleeper hit of the season. While still good, my enthusiasm for it declined as it went on. Rin's role just really took away from it for me. Couldn't bring myself to worry or care about her at all. A third member closer to Ichigo and Futaba in age and circumstance would have been vastly preferable. 7/10

So in the end Futaba's future is still uncertain. Too bad.

It was good series. 8/10 from me

Oh, and if anyone wonders about that junior program, here's junior profile of Ichigo's VA

I kinda wanted to see Futaba got fired because that'd be more realistic =p I mean if we consider seiyuus who got a lot of works got fired.......

It's no Shirobako but I guess it's fun while it lasted. I'd have rated it higher if they had gone to the eroge or hentai voice acting route a little XD

It does have a good soundtrack and it's always fun to see the pro seiyuus cameo and to listen to the ED every week (sad we don't have the usual one this episode).

Hopefully that bit at the end wasn't just a stupid tease and actually becomes a 2nd season/special/movie (or at least an OVA damn it!)

Episode 12 for the finale/climax, and episode 13 is for the conclusion. Well played, really.
Anyway, I enjoyed through this series a lot. One of the anime I'm looking forward to watch every week. No more episode next week kinda saddens me..

(8/10) Underrated series, but who cares! I've always wanted anime like this!
Though this anime is better off showing more seiyuus in action, like voice acting and stuff, or maybe a few rivalry can make it more interesting, instead of focusing on idol stuff in the second half.

So..... Season 2 pwease! Maybe a time gap where they become more skilled and popular a bit, like Idolm@ster 2nd cour? Make it happen, Gonzo!

My thoughts about this anime overall:

Well this anime was sure made a great demonstration how Seiyuu's (Voice Actors and Actresses) lives works.
And I really enjoyed watching this anime. If there would be a sequel I will really gonna watch it.
Anyway I'll rate this anime a 7 (or 8?) out of 10 score overall.
Haters always gonna hate.

Futaba being able to bring herself back together in that situation was actually great. I really think her lack of development in terms of her career was more than made up by her own personal development, to finally have something she can say that she wants to continue is more than half the battle, to say at least.

I'll be glad to see a second season, a now determined (still sometimes unsure) Futaba would not have convinced the staff if what she said was half-hearted.

When Atsumari smiled during the assessment, some sort of wave hit me.

This was enjoyable to say at least, 8/10, I think I would be even more impressed if this continues in the way it is going.

It was an okay show in the end, I really enjoyed the seiyuu aspect of it and I wanted to see more of that in the anime with Futaba growing as a seiyuu with Ichigo and Rin. The idol route they took kind of ruined it for me, I wish they didn't take that and just stuck with showing me their lives as seiyuus only.

This show really needs a second season for it to become great. More cameos would be nice.
The unflinching depiction of reality as a seiyuu is really something. Depressing but realistic. Overall a very worthwhile watch and a show I can respect years down the line. Sign off with a solid 7/10.

Truly, one of the best this season. It is underrated, but that's what you get when you take a realistic attempt at depicting the world of seiyuu. The end result was awesome. I am gonna miss these girls esp. Ichigo... Want a 2nd season really bad. 9/10

Loved this show. Loved how they showed what went on behind the scenes for Seiyuu over the course of their careers, how the less-than-famous ones live their lives, and the jobs that they have to do.

Would love a sequel to this if possible, the subject matter and the overall story do seem to deserve it (though I would love if they put out a sequel for Shirobako first..)

9/10 because not only was this entertaining, with lots of guest appearances, but it was also highly informative and enjoyable.

After 13 episodes, I still cannot get the Evangelion request song out of my head.

And, with that, this show has come to an end. This was a show that, if you know anything about me, it would be pretty obvious that I was VERY interested in it from the beginning. And, I'm glad to say that it didn't disappoint.

I loved learning so much about the industry, but overall, I loved the characters as well. I loved all of the guest cameos. There were a few cameos in there of people who I had never heard of before, but that was an aspect that I really enjoyed.

I loved how they explored most aspects of seiyuu life. From doing anime, to dubbing, to having to balance seiyuu work with part-time work (and the struggles of not having any money because of this), I liked all of it. In the end, Futaba's future is still uncertain, but I think that is pretty realistic. Sad that it's over, but it feels complete to me.

We do need more Seiyuu-centric anime with a variety of themes though. Off the top of my head, I can think of some titles such as Full-Fledged Vocalist: Seiyuuhood, Voice;Gate, Ginkoe, Seiyuu X Seiyuu, Ginga Seiyuu Densetsu, Koemonogatari, Psy.Koe-Pass, and so on.
lol, I lost it at "Psy.Koe-Pass"

I too was hoping for S2 announcement from the producer at the end....

Pretty decent ending and in general quite a fun and especially lovely anime! All in all it could be better on some surfaces but was still very lovely in general and with a semi open ending they could always add some more specials or even another season!

All in all a pretty decent anime!

It was very pleasant to watch. It reminded me Shirobako with a different view, the seiyuu side. Sore ga Seiyuu was pretty good but more focused on the friendship and the evolution of the little girls.

With that end, I hope to see a second season announced :)

I really wish this anime would get some more attention. It's no masterpiece of course, but it's far more than just cute moe characters doing cute moe things. Not only is it great insight to this side of anime production, but filled with tons of moments that apply to so many professions and fields of work. Even though I've never done any voice acting I still could relate to all three girls multiple times over throughout the anime.

Eh, I thought the finale felt kinda underwhelming. On most parts, I thought episode 12 fit more for a finale.

That's how I felt at first, until that very last scene -- that's basically confirmation for a season 2, right? Right?? Or at least a special!

Man this series is so underrated, I LOVED it. I seriously had my doubts in the beginning since it was kinda boring and seemed more informational than having an actual plot, but it really picked up steam!! 8/10 :D :D

Seiyuu's dream is to make those watching laugh or cry or more than these two

Gogogogogo will be the new mudamudamuda or oraoraora xD

Overall really split on this show.
The start was pretty interesting with them explaining how it all worked and such but when the idol part came i just sighed.
I completely understand some seiyuu do part idol stuff, including the person that wrote this but if i wanted to watch an idol show, well i picked an idol show.
You got these different types of voice acting (the audiobook, silly noises, gender change) and it is just skimmed over for 1 scene but oh boy, we got typical idol nonsense alright, every cliche right even.

Also, the last episode was really meh. We got the typical want to be drama that no person would ever believe. Then to take it even worse they first faked the fire and then "trololol we got a backup plan" which was never ever mentioned.

Overal a 6. If only they stayed with the actual subject rather then go do something else. Look at Shirobako how it is done for the next season if there is one please.

Judging by how poorly it sold (1,154 copies on average), there's sadly almost no chance of this show getting a second season. It must have lost A LOT of money. It's really upsetting.
English dubs can be just as good as the original Japanese.

Although I wasn't expecting much from this anime, it ended up being a really good one. I really enjoyed it.

I'm also really glad that Futaba, Ichigo and Rin can continue with their careers. I really liked the cast and their struggle during some episodes felt both realistic and easy to sympathize with.

Overall, it was a nice series with a good description of how Seiyu's world usually works. It was very informative and interesting too. 8/10
