| Donghua (also known as Chinese Cartoons) are actually really overlooked in the anime community. I was just wondering if you guys have seen any Donghua or if you're planning on watching any in the future. But basically I've only seen one. So up until last year, I didn't know much about Donghua, let alone even be interested in watching it. Not until I watched Link Click. I am planning on watching Mo Dao Zu Shi after I finish the Monogatari series, cause it looks like it's accepted due to its rating. Here's a random short vid: (skip to 1:20)   |

| I watched one episode of Mo Dao Zu Shi back then but never continued. Now I watched Link Click and the show slaps. I am not really aware of what else is there so there is nothing I plan to watch unless someone recommends me something and it catches my attention. |

| Yes, I've watched Mi Yu Xing Zhe (Uncharted Walker), and I really enjoyed it. Currently watching Link Click and I'm really liking that show so far. One thing I noticed is that sometimes Chinese subs seem to have mistranslations, I don't remember what was said in Link Click but I couldn't help but to think what I just read at the time was odd and while I knew what they were trying to say, it just wasn't sad correctly. |
| I've seen S1 and S2 of Mo Dao Zu Shi(Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation -the title sounds really cool in english)....I'm yet to see S3... It's a great series and the animation is chef's kiss...I really recommend it, especially for those who like fantasy in eastern settings...     |

| I have watched a few so far and they are surely bring a breath of fresh air. A lot of them don't have typical anime stereotypes etc and look stunning too! Mo Dao Zu Shi and Tian Guan Ci Fu became two of my most favorite novels too (the donghua is really good, but it cuts a lot of the story) and I've seen a few others. | I have already watched "Mo Dao Zu Shi" it got good animation, but I would recommend "Quanzhi Gaoshou" too or "Wu Shan Wu Xing". But try "Quanzhi Gaoshou" first. it's about E-Sport, not so realistic tbh but still worth it to watch |

| I didn't watched them but I planned to watch a lot of them cause I played a single game based on Chinese cartoons(sword and fairy 7) and I liked them a lot.My opinion is that they look good and they're really underrated, nobody is talking about them for some reason |

| My favorite Donghua is douluo dalu (soul land) My favorite chinese artist is chi fai tang. His character designs are fucking awesome. Even in cgi donghua it distinctly stands out a lot. Plus stories are Berserk like (without rape service) Other I chinese donghua which I have high regards are -fox spirit match maker especially if u are into epic fantasy romance -seven scissor (lot similar to Mob psycho in feel) - Rakshasa Street is another unique show for supernatural fans and has a solid payoff (well, Heibai Wushang does do something similar, but still this is better executed and has higher quality and better writing) -If u are talking about animation wise The King's avatar is pretty solid There are other to like I'm Joybo or nezha or jiang ziya or Hitori no Shita or battle through the heavens, tales of Gods and demons. Even white cat Legend was pretty unique (if not for pseudo inconclusive ending, I would consider it top tier too) All in all, I am pretty deep into it |

| I watched many, first the language are very different. Somewhat hard to find. But animation is awesome and they have 3d animators. But still finding a good one is very difficult that why I watch more than anime. But it's awesome. I am watching soul land this time-      |

| There are some interesting donghua shows out there (many are listed in this topic) and I don't get why there are people who totally ignore them. I guess there are some censored adaptation of novels and light novels but if they are still interesting and fresh isn't skipping them missing on something good? To add some weird shows I like and weren't mentioned here: Bureau of Paranormal Investigation You Yao (yes I like outlandish comedies) Sword net 3: Chivalrous and Righteous Shen Jianxin (another outlandish comedy) Arad: Reversal of Fate Spirit Cage: Incarnation Hypnosis love The Invasion of Awakening (gets kind of meh towards the end tho) Knights on Debris Reverse dimension : Rise of AI (trashy but fun) Thousands of Years Daomu Biji Zhi Qinling Shen Shu Rescue Eternal Desert Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire Song of Time - Rhapsody of Flowers and Flames (trashy but fun) |

| Well they're not really anime are they? Why isn't Netflix Castlevania on MAL? Anime usually refers to Japanese animation. I'd prefer not to consume Chinese products where it can be helped too. |
Be ready for one really complicated mystery, a tons of factions, crazy political intrigues and schemes, family drama, brutal slaughter and tons of unexpected reveals till the last episode of season 3. This packed to the gills with supernatural and real fighting techniques. Just be patient, a lot of build up in season one and more intense stuff in season 2-3. |
