Second off, this premise is essentially the most blatant carbon copy of literally every other notable shounen in existence. Generic caricatural characters, bland and impractical concepts, superficial historical-based setting, the typical infuriating shounen tropes that you'd see everywhere you go, and just no sense of identity for itself. Even Fairy Tail was never this bad.
As someone who enjoyed the Magi anime, I'm disappointed by the same author's new venture being just an inferior clone.
(Disclaimer: I read the manga, it's just as bad and doesn't improve, but at least the art in that one is decent)
