| A battle that decides the whole nation sounds too hard to take in all at once... My favorite scenes was when Musashi and Michiru were flying together. It gave me slight Breath of the Wild vibes. Her Kitetsu Sword is pretty cool. This episode didn't really like a big impactful finale but it does set up for another cour (coming Summer 2022). |

| Well, Tsugumi and Kojiro have quite the relationship pickle, and Musashi is the keeper with his new-fangled Red Kitetsu Blade powers. And true enough, they found someone else in the octopus pot Oni: a beautiful girl, whom's a princess of Lord Nobumitsu: Michiru Saruwatari of the Saruwatari Bushi band of the Uesugi Alliance. Of course, Musashi trying to start a conversation with her, is he trying to get her to talk or is he flirting with her lols. And Michiru is a real show-stopper bearing the common Blue Kitetsu Blade to save him, which broke the ice that she;s a Hikkomori or a shut-in. The Black Wall being a Kishin, that is trouble. And this is where it brings back the origins of Kishin offerings seen in Episode 1, taken into context now to realize the weight of the world in taking down this Black Kishin. And thank god for it because the Uesugi Alliance is BIG to take down big Kishins. There's lots of manga-related stuff in the final minutes, which only deepens the plot further. Until then, it's time to continue this story in the manga. Am I interested to watch a Season 2 of this? Kinda, now that we're just getting started with the plot. Just input a better quality with this the next time around. And just nice, there's the 2nd Cour (NOT SEASON 2), focusing on The Battle on Awaji Island arc coming this Summer.  |

| I didn't really expect this kind of promo to get a 2nd season but well... that's why it doesn't feel like the end of the story of course, still it was at least quite entertaining overall but it's definitely a forgettable adaptation for sure. |

| Great episode! Musashi saved not only Kojiro and Tsumugi from that plant monsteer thing but a... princess! When she had the sun shining upon her it looked as if she was Shiki Ryougi xD. Her name is Michiru. She tells Musashi she is a hikkikimori and that is why she didn't now how to talk to them. Her kitetsu blade allows her and Musashi to fly when they fell off a cliff which was cool. The black thing in the sky is actually... a kishin! It is known as the Black Kishin. Kojiro's father belonged to the Uesugi band it seems. (Imagine if it was our amazing tutor Fuutarou xD). We get to see the 'obsidian 8.' Are we getting another season? |

| I just hope S2 gets better because it was very average. Very disappointed since Magi is really good. 5/10 and I think I'm being bias because of Magi. |

| was not expecting to like it tbh I felt that the anime was really boring at first but it picked up anyway one get Akatsuki vibes from that little gathering at the end? not bad probably will watch S2 when it comes out |

| Final episode did turn out to be one of the better atleast. Still the pacing is very off. The anime as a whole was less than average. |

| I have mixed views about this series. On one hand the anime had a very slow start that I almost considered dropping this, but the last 3-4 episodes felt like the show was actually going some where despite being an average shonen series. I'm glad that Orient is getting another cour this summer, because what we watched so far was the prologue and that the series was just getting started. Hopefully the animation would be better the second time around. I give the first cour a 6/10. |

| Decent cliffhanger premise for the next season I guess. Feels like a fromsoft game with the find 5 lords type thing :P also masaka has Musashi's love interest finally arrived?????? or maybe this does the magi route and musashi ends up with main girl instead anywho overall this was kinda meh throughout. Same ol basic bitch battle shounen but it didn't really have any noteworthy moments imo like for instance something like Black Clover which was also basic bitch but at least had some good moments in it. Could definitely feel some magi in it but it didn't really have the same impact as magi if I'm being honest maybe because it's missing a Sinbad Samurai Motorcycle bitchesssss/10 |

| Hah yes ofc there's another beautiful girl and its also manage to attract Musashi and even Kojiro too. Rip to his preference. Sad for Tsugumi too, when she realized Musashi can be charmed by the same age girl too. But the interaction with Kojiro actually not so bad, as brother and sister. Michiru her name, eh? And she's also a recluse. Interesting... Anyway, as expected its a preparation for the incoming cour next summer. Though, i don't expect them to have a decent introductional part like that, and the cliffhanger actually make me curious to see next. What lies beyond the Awaji island? However, i can't help but think, Orient still lacking visualization as how its should do to your typical battle shounen, honestly. But i don't think this is that bad too, just lacking. So lets see if the next cour can make up my mind into liking this more. As for this one, lets stick it with 6. |

| This episode was better than any of the previous ones in my opinion, but it couldn't save the show from being a bottom of the barrel shounen. Unless it gets considerably better, I won't be watching the second season. |

| Another anime of this season after Ousama Ranking who's last episode didn't have the ending vibes to it. Maybe because part 2 is releasing in Summer. I have high hopes for part 2 as the lore and story is starting to progress now and it's getting interesting. The part where the princess and Mushashi fell felt forced, how tf did they jut fell out of the tank or whatever that was? Well 4/5 episode, deducted 1 point because it got a bit boring in starting and I fell asleep watching it lmao. |

| So many new characters ! And who are those shadow people with Nanao, so they are part of those who believe that Kishin may live with humans ? I feel like they should have cut at episode 11, so its kinda a preview for whats to come, see you in summer ^^ |
| I feel like this episode should have been the start of 2nd cour and last week's episode was more fitting as the finale of 1st cour. But that's just me though. I like Michiru she was only shown just half of this episode and I already like her. The scene where she and Musashi flying together was beautiful. |

| The Princess was cute, but this was all just exposition and set up. I'll see what comes of it but I can't help how I feel about the show and it was all sorts of generic. It gets a 5/10 from me, not bad but not good either. |

| Like I said previously "let's fulfill the calendar" with a next-season-premises episode... This show is definitely not bad. It has a good story, good characters with their own story and evolution, and despite what many have to say the evolution of the story so far is not bad... But it drags! This season could be made in 9 eps, this one is completely unnecessary and the directing of the previous eps were a complete mess, with eps being stuck in the same section of the story/flashback, others end in the middle of a fight, others starting with 4 mins recap of the fight they left in the middle, a complete mess! -.- Fire the director and hire some other guy, he will not mess things up more than this one did! As for the series itself, it would deserve a 7/10, but with the bad direction and the dragging, I'm in a limbo between 6 and 7, because this is one of those cases that the direction of the series really hurt everything else... If stuck in a decision we always go to the "half": 6.5/10 (which rounds to 7 in MAL score) is a good score for this series. |

| For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |
