| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yes! They're back and right off the start, we're already on the baseball field with our familiar characters :D Eijun really fired up too and I'm glad he maintains the same personality as I remember. Looks like many characters made a return so I'm curious to see how they'll adapt them in the show this season. |

| Kinda was afraid they would start with a recap again, but ok, it's been a while for most and luckily they limited it to 5min. Imo it was very helpful since it provided a good overview of important events and I was immediately sucked in. First impression of the opening is a good one, not great, but it definitely has the potential to once it has grown on me. The ending song on the other hand is really nice, kinda reminds me of the songs from Ooishi Masayoshi. Seidou already managed to secure their first win, I especially liked their collective internal monologue when they wrapped up the game. The next opponent, Komadai Fujimaki seems like a tough one. Mainly due to Hongo Masamune and his pitches. They're indeed a more than worthy substitute for the missed chance to play Mei and Inashiro. Looking forward to the pitching showdown. Overall a solid start for this season and we still have a whopping 51 episodes in store, let the hype begin. |

| For once I appreciate the recap, It's been over 3 years after all.. Good start and I seem to remember the personalities and strenghts of most of the cast, so that's good. |

| Even with me excited, it's been 3 years i remember the characters but not their personality and what not, that " They are getting along?! " completly flew over my head. Will probably get in the grove later, glad to have this one back (Gave a 10 in enjoyment for last season) |

| That's strange, compared to other anime which looked drastically different in terms of quality Dia seems to be stagnant in that department... take for example how Attack on Titan S3 looks like it was actually produced in 1080p resolution when compared to its predecessors, this one still looks like upscaled 1080p, could they have started production on it immediately after the second season finished therefore it lacks the technological advancement other series seem to have ? This is just what it feels like to me idk |

| At long last this time has came. And it's 52 episodes at that... I guess I have an anime to watch for the rest of the year. Shame that I did read the manga as I couldn't wait, not that I regret it though. DnA is currently one of three mangas that I've been reading on weekly basis for a while now. |

| Yesss!! so happy to have this back. The moment I heard the good old OST again I was smiling. Great start to the second season, Sawamura's fail pitch had me laughing. Really like that they started off the season with a match. Looks like we have a real monster in Masamune. From the narration, it seems like the match with Komadai might not end well for Seido but I'm still looking forward to it. 51 episodes again, let the hype begin. XD |

| It's finally back, after 3 years! Glad the recap wasn't too long :) To start off, the OP. Glay is amazing as always, although I was hoping for a more upbeat OP, BUT I still liked it! It's slightly more on the angsty side, which kind of gives it more of an end-game feel, lol. The ED is great too, as expected of OxT. Hopefully the next OP and next 3 EDs will be Glay and OxT again. Or ofc, an ED with Eijun, Harucchi, and Furuya is welcome too~ I still listen to Cloud Nine quite often, especially in the summer! Anyways, great intro! You get your fill of laughter from Eijun's dumbness with his first pitch, and everyone else watching did too :P Well, aside from second-hand embarrassment felt by the team... As for Hongou, man seeing him in the manga was already kind of like dang, why he so angry, but in the anime, you get to even hear his anger. Not a fan of angry characters, but gotta admit, he is a beast. Good luck avenging Inashiro, Seidou! This episode went by so fast >< |

| OK after full episode I need to review it so... - first things first that was a nice recap in the beginning, still I have mixed feelings with seeing old faces like captain Tetsu, Ryo-san and Isashiki-senpai. That was too much! I will always love those guys maybe some day we will receive some series about them playing in different teams in colleges? - Miyukis laugh when Sawamura felt down also bringed back many memories :D it was a nice follow up to their first meeting - So they beat Homei easily, we didn't even get to know one player name of this team, that's a bit sad - Masamune looks like mad badass but I bet Seido will beat them because of conflict between Masamune and coach. - Damn speech from coach Kataoka once again was deep. - I see that Seido received nice tracksuits. - In general I liked this episode and it made me thirsty for more! - Opening is more than solid, ending well it's inadequate. I hope that they will change them in later part of this season. Oh and what I didn't like was this lack of colors in teams that we've already seen. There are always white and blue or white and black clothes. Its kind of sad because in MLB pros in real life wear gray, black, red, blue outfits mixed with different colors, stripes, sleeves ect. I wish we could get this here.  |

| Well it isn't Major 2 kind of hype but i sure missed this anime,pilot was okay i'm actually surprised we got to see what the team did at koshien(even if it feels a bit too relax,not a lot of tension for the best field in Japan),the new characters have nice chara design (the Seido's first years especially) and i'm curious to see how good they are on the field. Anyway this and Mix Meisei,2019 will be a great year for sports animes it seems. |

| Good First Episode. The game at the start was kinda meh but I understand it was important to reintroduce everyone. It got my attention tho in the second half! Can't wait for next week! Op was ok but it might grow on me I hope :) |

| I'm so glad to have Daiya back that I can't even. I was pretty much crying because a surge of feelings came through me thanks to that summary before the OP, but Sawamura soon made me laugh out loud and smile with his slip and bright red face. xD And for a moment I forgot this, but this is already starting right at Koushien, and the matches are already under way. May my heart be strong in order to withstand all of the emotion it is about to go through again. I can't wait to get to know better the new faces, but also to see again my favorite ones. I also liked the OP and the ED, this is going to be great! |

| Crazy that this show is back. It's been 3 years. I remember when it used to air with Hunter x Hunter and Space Brothers. That's how old it is! I hope this won't be another season of Sawamura getting shafted in favor of Furuya. |

Listen he was doing a lot of jobs I even heard him in few rom-coms. I believe that was 1st episode after long break/gap and I bet that in next ones he will sound better.
