| Welp, I'm caught up and the prelims are on! Only 8 can qualify....and 2 of those are destined to be Soma and Hayama. Not big on Hayama btw, his training/living/whatever with Shiomi seems kinda cheap to me. Shiomi herself is rather obnoxious btw... I do think that Hojo is great though, smokin' hot but then I'm a sucker for the purple haired girls. :D Aldini slimmed down, and I realized Erina's stalker Nao is an inferior Tomoko from Watamote...design wise anyway. :D So who else will advance? Tough to say...I feel like Alice is a shoe-in, probably Nikumi...and Megumi's gotta have the plot armor right? At least for the prelims I'd think...plus that guest judge underestimated her. Guess we'll see though...:D |
| Ahhh man, great episode! Really love the wide cast of characters in this show that were showcased :D Erina getting bored and offering to help out, the relationship of the twins (LOL SKINNY GUY INCOMING XD), Mikumi and the Don RS, everyone going back home, Akira and Jun (especially him wanting to show them off as a "team" :3) ... ahh man, such a great first half :D Things get real in the second with the prelims underway. So only 4 people from each group gets to go to the main competition ... dang, that's pretty harsh! So I'm betting Souma and Megumi have to go on (of course, main character status) then Akira, maybe Alice or Nao or Miyoko ...? Hmm well it's cool how they showcased everybody's different styles of cooking (except Souma, who's asleep :P). The twins who came to judge as well seem pretty interesting ... their personalities are the opposite of what I expected (so like they switched) XD Anyway, really looking forward to the next episode and how they end things! I wonder if we'll get through the entire tournament with only 4 more episodes? :O |
| Sad about the fact we didn't learn more of Megumi's past and family. The rest of the episode was great though. Really looking forward to the last few episodes. |

| The whole episode 20 is totally up to the HYPE! Never a dull moment! LOL at Itami! usual comedy troupe of the fat getting instantly thin that you won't even recognize the person! LOL at director gramps! he choked from that whatever smell! LOL at all the boys yelling "Miyoko-sama" at the same time...Urara was infuriated! lolz! As usual, the annoying bitch Judge on Group B was looking down again at Megumi...I feel like she'll eat-up her own words for instantly judging Megumi...let's wait and see! Lol at puompador Don guy! cheering so much for Nikumi like a dad watching his daughter at a sports festival lololoL! Strongest contender would be Hayama of course... While everybody is hyped up and cooking...Souma is sleeping... NICE! 10/5. |

| OMG the excitement, I gotta say all the characters are interesting, let's go Polar Star Dorm. I'm really liking the ending these last days, it's not like Spice, but the the piano that plays in the "sexy curry" part is amazing. |

| This was such an awesome episode. Got to see and idea of what each one of the characters are cooking up. The Aldini brother losing all that weight within a month was the highlight of this episode though 😂 Souma is asleep?! 😳 Only he would be able to fall asleep in the middle of this lmao. |

| The thing that leaves me more satisfied of all, in this episode, is the fact that he had abandoned the secondary characters to a sad and anonymous second floor in the main thread of the story; but he has raised their shape very convincingly. Narratively it is almost impossible to decide who can really win the preliminary round, despite having already preconceptions in mind. Mito now seems to have taken the place of Megumi as in scenes where you show embarrassment, shame that she will be the lucky will win the "bingo". Some gags seemed telegraphed, including that regarded the Aldini and the final reported in Soma, however, bring some hilarity. Good episode that excites a lot my curiosity, but I do not fall into the trap of seeing more than one episode at a time, not to finish too quickly the TV series; then I would not know what to do as souls similar. |

| Lol at Isami and his weight loss XD. I wonder what Erina's stalker is cooking up,it doesn't seem appetizing at all. All the various smells/flavours that the judges and audience are being enveloped ,I can just imagine how delicious it smells. Souma sure seems to be taking it easy by napping in the middle of their assignment lol. |

| Souma sleeping lol Well he's slow cooking something, letting the flavors, fragrance and texture blend well. Plus the competition is 3 hours long. I'd be laughing if he messes up and slips lol. That would be such a disaster for him. Only 4 advancing per group. Well we know who's not going to advance. It would be huge upset if Hayama didn't make it past prelims. |
