| I don't have preference, to be honest, I tend to value more the hairstyle than the hair color in itself. As long as I like how the shape of the hair is, I don't tend to care about its color. Jugding by most of my favorite characters, my prefered choice should be black, but, then again, I don't have any special love towards black-haired characters (speaking strictly about the color). |

| I think it really depends on other aspects of the character. Black / brown hair has a down-to-earth feel which works well for 'girl next door' types. Rikka from SSSS Gridman. Mayuri from Stein;Gate. Blonde has a passionate, expressive feel which is good for characters that are very 'showy' either in appearance, personality or both. Saber from Fate. Violet from Violet Evergarden. Pink works really well for crazy characters. Matsuzaka Satou from Happy Sugar Life. Lucy from Elfen Lied. White has a purity thing going on which is good for lolis or otherwise very innocent or angelic appearing characters. I say 'appearing' because they are often not very innocent in various ways including being lewd or being lewded. Sagiri from Eromanga Sensei. Ilya from Fate. Of course, great characters exist which break the mold and don't fall in to these stereotypes. For me... well my favourite girl has black hair (Yozora from Haganai). But I think the designs of Saber and Violet Evergarden are the most beautiful that I've seen in anime. So I guess I'd say blonde. |

| I prefer white/silver/gray, ash blond/platinum blonde, red/orange hair on my characters. This doesn't mean I automatically will like characters with those hair colors though. It's just I find them more attractive. |
