Yeah, apparently 25 episodes for the first season which will cover the Eas Blue. Sounds about right.

Lol exactly, I'll be happy with whatever. The fact that we get to reexperience One Piece like that in the first place is something we canbe grateful for.

You mixed up the periodical single-issue floppy comics/single chapter releases (Weekly Shounen Jump releases in case of One Piece) with the manga volume sales xD

For manga volumes Wikipedia says approximately 516,5 million.

Pretty much and I became lazier to check notifications and such xD

You see, One Piece is still doing great. We just can't expect for it to come out on top against the new hyped title of the year. If One Piece ends up with more overall sales than Superman it's a far more monumental milestone than any #1 at Oricon.

Hey. Oh it's not that bad. One Piece hasn't been #1 for the past couple of years. And with less chapters and volumes it's only natural to not sell as much as before. It's still incredibly solid. No other series is as consistent after over 25 years :P
