Lol cute. I found the animal outfits cute for the three girls as idols. No wonder they have some fans like her:

And in general, a cute episode. I'm proud of her far they have come :)

lol is this Idolm@ster?

and damn Rin getting mad as hell.

There wasn't much seiyuu work going on this week. Yui Kaori appearing again only talked about lives and her own group so anyone watching this who don't care about any of these things are going to be bored of this episode.

I wonder if the seiyuu who have talked about their personal feelings about different things got to give any input for the script; like, does Horie Yui really feel lonely at the start of her concerts, I wonder.

Yui Kaori, huh? I didn't know Ogura Yui had shown up (coincidentally, I've always thought that Rin was like her). You mean Hoi Yurie. I don't get why some people are so hung up on the distinction between idoling/seiyuu work. Both are often part of a seiyuu's duties, involve hard work and make for good character development arcs, and, if you care about the characters at all, should still be entertaining. Although the story does tell what it's like to be a seiyuu, the story is still going to pertain mostly to a set of characters whether they're working as seiyuu, idols, or Japanese Animal Video stars.

Also, the unit Horie mentioned is Aice5 which includes the mangaka who wrote this. If fans aren't interested then they could always do a little research. Just found the photo they modelled the anime image off of:

Yes. From what I have read, the seiyuus was interviewed in what would they say in the situation like this.
The world shall know the truth soon.

This was nicely done! No forced melodrama being thrown at you, and pretty well executed in general. Now, while this anime is mostly about their seiyuu career, the Idol bits are much better done than the Cinderella anime.

Keeping it real man, that's solid. Now, since this is a fictional story, it'd be narrated as such. But as long as there's some actual facts behind it, is what makes it really good.

Also, I didn't know that the actual author was a girl, much less an actual idol, from an Idol Unit were Yui Horie is a member as well of. It would explain the spotlight she tends to get in the anime (not forced, but still noticeable :p).
I thought that the story was also written by Hata-sensei. Interesting, interesting indeed. Now I have to change my image about the manga as well :p

Didn't expect them to actually start the concert this episode, I thought it'd be saved for the last episode. The episode felt pretty rushed overall and the animation was lacking during the performance but I liked the episode overall. I'm guessing the last episode will be some filler of sorts then. Sad that there's only 1 episode left, I'm gonna miss this show

My handwriting is like this too xD

Nice to see Futaba taking the initiative to speak out after some advice from Horie, and glad the trio found a way around Ichigo's injury. The manager's reactions and expressions to it were funny. Costumes were a bit too cheesy for me, but I guess they worked.

Performance was great!

Kaibara's melt down was so funny ans unexpected. And I think this is the first time Rin got angry at someone.

The author of the manga also does voice acting in this anime. She plays a bunch of small bit roles in a bunch of episodes. She was the audiobook director that one time Ichigo worked on one. She's been a taxi driver, a receptionist, etc. I don't think she was in this episode, unfortunately, or at least I didn't notice her. I thought she was the one who started asking for an encore, but the eye color is different...

Whoa.. didn't expect Futaba to actually grow a backbone :P

It's really nice how the other two supported Ichigo including catching her when she was about to fall. The last performance was animated nicely too.. better than some actual idol anime even, lol

Sayo's fangirl-ing moment was the highlight of this episode! A true BFF right there.. oh and there's Ichigo's dad too lol.. I wonder if he went and met Ichigo afterwards, I'd like to see her reaction XD

So their first concert was a success after all.
And even Ichigo's father came to look at the concert.
Ichigo being stubborn about her injury complicated things a bit.
But things where solved in the end.
