| I watch them 100% of the time, whether the show is airing or completed, and whether I've seen the show before or not. They're part of the show's content, and if there are spoilers, then the writers/directors intended them to be there. (Much like episode titles in the vein of "Goku Dies!" and such.) If people value the idea of watching anime "as the creators intended" (as stated in many a "sub vs. dub" post), then previews are part of the parcel. And quite often, they aren't spoilery or terribly relevant at all -- they can be fun bits that build on the characters, explain something about the world, or provide reference humor to other shows. Sidenote: rips that omit previews piss me off -- you can always choose to skip them if they're present, but you can't choose to watch them if they're absent. Caboose said: nope. I do check for extra content between ED and previews though. | No. The first and last time I ever did ended up spoiling the following episode entirely. No matter if the show has finished airing, or if it is still airing -- and no matter my resentful anticipation to learn more about the next episode, I just move on. I really don't see how others can so casually watch a preview, feeling they have nothing to lose. |
