| Honestly. Taro should've gotten himself fired for his complete unprofessional actions, he didn't even let any one know; the guy just waited until they discovered his fuck-up. I was still laughing though when he of all people tried to tell Miyamori, who basically saved his career, how to do her job. I wonder how Segawa's animations will hold up in their third episode, she worked herself sick. |

| Wow, that's a LOT of characters to keep track of. Really exciting episode, it's amazing how trying to meet the schedule can keep you on the edge of your seat :P I'm really looking forward to this anime, it seems like it can give a lot of insight about the industry. |

| So much stuff I don't get yet, but that might partly be because I'm exhausted right now haha. I like how they're already showing how hard an animator has to work. I hope it isn't anything too serious. She looks like she's dead o__o; I wonder when the other girls will come in, and who will be best girl :p I was leaning towards Ema just on that adorable dance video, but I don't usually care for the shy characters. I love Aoi's obsession with donuts though. Girls that love food are cute :3 |

| Well, they obviously exaggerated some parts of the industry. But of course, every show needs some sort of exaggeration. Very interesting series, will definitely watch the other 25 episodes. And I'll probably watch Bakuman seasons two and three now (and rewatch season one). |

| What a wonderful thing is this anime jaja. As soon I started watching it I got the same stress the characters had with the timetable, drawing, recording, animation, color, etc, everything! Now I feel guilty for complaining when some anime has lazy animation, low framerate, or just 12-13 episodes jaja. Truly, this opens your eyes to some degree about the life the animators surely have. This first episode left a very good first impression, I want to see another episode right away. Many character were introduced and as it is habitual in me, I find it difficult to remember all those names xD And interesting and refreshing proposal, I must say. |

| I was hesitating to check out an episode of the series as I prefer action packed stuff nowadays, but I am glad I did, because it seems to be pretty interesting. I like the characters and the pacing is really decent, so I am looking forward to get more of this. Big thumbs up! |

| It was an average episode for me. Nothing really impactful. Initial D reference and Im sure the opponent racer animation studio is for J.C.Staff!! I didnt know that studio still making the rest of the episode while the work started broadcasting. I thought they finished all episodes before the air time. Segawa collapsed. Why is Japanese not thinking of their health? OP song: 3/5 Episode: 2.7/5 |

| Seems... nice. And colorful. I like how it's not about some animation school club, but actual real life work :D This shoul make things a lot more interesting! Not really impressed by main characters for now though, no one caught my attention yet. I'm guessing that ED sequence is the actual opening because of how well-animated it was. Didn't expect to hear Yoko Ishida in a series like that O_O Somehow she sounds even younger than when she was singing Pretear and Sailor Moon songs :D |

| You can really feel the insane pressure of the production schedule. I don't know if I'll be able to remember names, and it's hard to remember who does what, even though I'm fairly familiar with the job titles and what they roughly mean. I didn't expect a cliffhanger like that, I was under the impression that this was going to be a slice of life show. I mean, employees are already starting to collapse this early into the series. Sh*t's too real. |

| I'm impressed by any high school which has an animation club—not only that, but an animation club that made their own work! Our school's anime club was such shit lmao. This looks like it's going to be a fascinating look at anime production. I love the fact that it's a moe show rather than them trying to make some high-art anime. Whoever Aoi walked in on at the end seemingly dead is going to delay production, I bet... |

| This anime reminds me a lot of Bakuman. Damn, being an animator seems like a hassle. There is so much pressure every week. I don't think I'll be able to handle the stress in that industry. My only gripe is the weird somewhat 3D animation on the characters, otherwise, its a good start. I'm entertained. |

| Rewatching Shirobako now after a few years. For how raved the show is by mostly everyone who has seen it (even I had it at an 8 when I finished it the first time), this first episode which I don't remember a thing of was surprisingly really mediocre. I get that the nature of the animation studio is erratic due to how much they have to cover in a small amount of time, especially when it comes to clearing up mistakes in a very tight amount of time with a lot of people busy already (which I do praise for the show), but the show lacked a genuinely interesting beginning for me regardless, especially on the character and narrative front. Feels like something like this could have been better a few episodes into this rather than the very beginning. What I did like in this episode though was showcasing the variety of activities already done in an anime studio when having to do a weekly show and reflected the nature of the buzz really nicely, and the visuals do look solid for the most part I have to say. P.S: That Tarou guy in any other company would've been fired or given a big-time warning for forgetting key shit like that at such a crucial time with a massive time-crunch too. |

The cut from them in high school to Aoi waiting at the stop light was hilarious, especially with that worn out face of hers. Aoi's expressions are quite cute, like how she was ogling that donburi (?)! Looking forward to watching the next episode. |

| This is just the first episode and I can already tell Shirobako is something special. Perhaps not in terms of having a great story, but more so for the meta intrigue of seeing anime created through an anime. I knew this was Shirobako's premise initially, but I didn't think we'd get airdropped straight into the production process from the beginning. |
