| I think this was my favorite episode so far. Shoukugeki, huh? That would adequately satisfy my concern about the battle per episode, as well as provide interesting directions for the plot to take. I wasn't sure how I felt about Souma drawing with the Seventh Seat of the Elite Ten, but since it was implied that Isshiki didn't go all-out anyway, I suppose it's fine. I wonder how Souma could obtain something worthy of wagering against a place in the Elite Ten. Is his win/lose record and grades enough (i.e. making his expulsion more expensive), or does he need to gain some sort of position like the guy who dueled with Erina? Hmm. Looking forward to it. |
| the way i see it, only kids can be impressed by erina really. her talk, her poses just grosses me out, it's way too ridiculous. as someone has already pointed out, the only good thing about her is her hairstyle and I add her funny imagination. that's it. |

| These cooking battles are awkward when you think about how your opponent, audience, etc. have to wait x amount of minutes for them to finish cooking the food after coming off a heated moment. lol Erina and Ryouko goodness. |

| Didn't like this episode as much as the previous ones, they need to focus more on the cooking stuff, at least give each episode 5 minutes cooking not 30 seconds lol. |

| What does Isshiki seek in hoping for a new order to take hold for the academy? Does he intend on supporting Souma so that he may ascend in tandem for his own gain, or does he have a grievance against the establishment? Erina is quite cruel. I'm really curious as to what her grandfather desires. By admitting Souma into the academy, he's essentially sowing the seeds of chaos. Has he been wanting to replace certain elements of the council, but hadn't done so due to a greater desire of retaining the elite level of skill? Maybe he wants to use him in order to somehow assist Erina's ambitions? Episode was hilarious overall. |

| Yikes I hope Erina changes a bit cause so far I dislike her character A LOT. She's so cute so I wish I didn't but man. And why do they always have to be naked because they like the food?! XD it's so stupid. I'm really liking this show and then they have the most ridiculous fan service. I'm super shocked anyone can like it. It's honestly embarrassing that something so dumb is in such a good show. I'm trying not to complain about it because it's not going to just disappear but it's seriously bugging me. It would be 100xs better without it. |

| Isshiki made a wonderful Spring-themed Spanish Mackerel dish to show how good his cooking really is compared to the first-years and Soma countered with a great-tasting Mackerel Tea Riceball dish that's just as powerful and even made the 7th Seat in the Elite 10 swoon over. Ibusaki's definitely someone on another level to barely react to Soma's food and to chide on Isshiki for secretly holding back like that. It like he's definitely within the Top 5 of the Elite 10. Erina had every right to destroy the Chanko House after that overwhelming victory but that doesn't mean that I didn't feel bad for it being destroyed to be her 6th personal kitchen. I really want to taste her ravioli even at the expense of being called a shameless hussy though. The Meat Master has arrived and she sure has some choice cuts ♥ |

| 5 strong episodes in a row to start this rewatch. Love to see that. Now with the shokugeki concepts introduced, and Soma is already in the mood to start shit with some of the best students in the Academy, the future episodes of this season is looking really exciting. |
