| Ahh, Dominante with her "Love Punch"(?) reminds me of Handa's mom (from Barakamon) xD I also noticed that they add few details in the opening visual, that was beautiful. Can't wait to see the Witch Forest animated. |

| So eBS salad sh*t going on here. Felt like a filler. Judging by the timeline of what Noelle mentioned about being after the first fight with Licht and Asta recovering, her magic is still supposed to be bent AF... don't know how she managed to hit Randell. CBA with saying everything wrong with the episode. The best thing about it was the ED Actually, I'll say it. •First, the animation is beyond crap now; massive chins and small mouths, many of the characters look as though they're grinning; they we have the really strange bug-eyes. Smh. •Second, that commander got caught, when the FUQ did he get a chance to escape -did I miss it, don't think so •Third, it amazes me how fluid magic can be; somehow spatial magic can allow the user to create spatial soldiers... Finral's use of it is the most true to the sort of magic it's conveyed to be (I'm pretty sure spatial refer to space-time manipulation) Fourth, the character interactions felt so awkward and was so 2D (the irony) in their speech patterns and body language/movement. I don't like dropping anime, why can't it just end. Why are the Japanese (and the international audience to that matter) enjoying this... There's Benn quite a few dryer anime e that have been shelved. Why cant this one be P.S. I'm still gonna be watching this though song rant seems pointless. It's just that this anime could do so much better. |

| Nice episode! So after all Mariella was helping Fanzell too! Funny past story between Fanzell and Black Bulls! Domina and Fanzell are a funny couple! And the way how Gauche got a vacation week was hillarious! So Domina is from the same place from Vanessa, and the hit from Domina about a cure for Asta's arms is where Vanesse went! I am curious about Vanessa past, seem she will shine soon! |

| More interesting than the last, and I'm guessing this wraps up the light novel as well. His wife was a bit of a spaz. I'm wondering if there will even be a point to Noelle going to meet Zell if Vanessa was going to the witches forest anyway. Guess imma have to wait and see. |
| I was amazed by how the unfolding of events happens! so this Fanzell guy is diamond kingdom commander who is defected! and all this confrontation leads directly to Vanessa's arc! Things are getting good again!!! 5/5. |

| I was totally confused. But I rewatched episode 55 again. They actually mentioned that it was 5 month ago when Asta met Fanzell. I got confused because I did not know ep 55 was flashback. I have to pay more attention next time |

| I guess Vanessa is really the key to Asta's healing. Those ravens or crows at the entrance were pretty cool way to enter. I guess Fanzell's backstory was unnecessary in my opinion, it was just not interesting for me. |

| Hmm Fanzell really doesn't have a habit of wearing clothes does he. The reactions of the squad to him was priceless. The diamond forces attack on the bull's hq sure was unexpected but the bulls counterattack sure was cool. Grey's part in it was amusing. Mariella's true plan sure was a cunning one. Revenge and atonement huh she sure thought ahead. An interesting episode that did well in showing how the Black bulls met Fanzell and how they managed to save him and Mariella from the assassins while reuniting him with his wife. |

| LMAO, nobody mess with the Black Bulls, whether it be a naked pedo dude or a fleet of magicians! Mariella went from You're about to die sensei to Run away sensei! Mariella went from A genius who has manipulated many people including the Black Bull members to do my plans to Being taught some life lesson from Noelle Mariella is yet another girl that'll kinda be in Asta's harem... There's some surprisingly good animation (for Black Clover) when the Black Bulls are defending their base and when Asta along with Fanzell are fighting together. And now... The witches... |

| Just would like to point out for anyone reading this thread and somehow seeing the comments pointing out that Noelle creating the water bubble thing was a screw up are wrong. Noelle uses this spell in episode 9 which would be set before the events of this episode. Noelle had always been good at using a spell-like this for defensive means. She then, later on, has to adjust this spell to be able to carry people and go underwater. Or it is just a completely different spell. Either way, it doesn't matter. I get that black clover has flaws, but people criticizing this, shows they weren't really paying attention to the show at all. She has always been able to pull off defensive spells at least since episode 9 where she literally does this exact spell to protect people. To be fair it is animated way worse here, but it isn't some weird timeline mistake. |

| For fuck sake Fanzell got accused as a creep by the Black Bull well he was mugged and got his things stolen from him that was hilarious though but I also felt bad for the guy and he got captured and was beaten as well again kind of funny to see that and sad to see him get beaten up after getting robbed Finally, they got reunited but brutally and yet again Fanzell got beaten up again but this time is by his fiancee that was amusing to watch as the well poor guy got beaten twice now lol, Mariella seems like a smart ally with plans up ahead she seems like a good addition as an ally, Seems she's warming up to Asta as well Noelle got a little bit jealous there So they have ideas on how to cure Asta's injuries well I think Vanessa has the upper hand since she's already there seems that nothing changed when they got to their house. |

| This Fanzell subplot feels pointless if Vanessa was going to the Witch forrest anyway unless Fanzell will play a role again in the future. |

| Yeah how the heck are these supposed to be filler? I GUESS you could skip over them, but then it's like you're just stumbling across three random characters who you're just supposed to know. Or maybe they'll give like a 10-minute long recap in the next episode for those who skipped over these "filler." Anyway, looks like we're in witches' territory now, and Vanessa probably gets a starring role in this arc. |
