| Matt and Takeru from Digimon. Matt's got a lot of crap going on in his life. His parents have divorced and he's trying to raise his younger brother. His younger brother gets on his nerves. And then the plot of the show happens and Matt gets thrown into a strange alien world. He's trying to keep his cool and he sometimes comes off as abrasive, but you can tell that he is under an immense amount of pressure and that he just wants what is the best for everyone, is quite self sacrificial, like that episode when he pretty much sold himself into slavery for Joe's sake. Takeru is just so sweet. |
