Similar to the last topic of best blondes in anime, what are your picks for best redheads in anime? My three picks: Chise Hatori from The Ancient Magus' Bride  Yona from Yona of the Dawn  Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate. In the anime, she has red hair, while in the visual novel series, she has brown chestnut hair. |

| Going down the list from least to most obscure... Yoko (Gurren Lagann). Sexy as hell. Hatori Chise (The Ancient Magus Bride) because I relate to her very emotionally. Konatsu (Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu) because I like my sarcastic adult characters. Kei (Dirty Pair) for similar reasons as Konatsu but again, sexy as hell. Nicoletta (Ristorante Paradiso). I don't really know why. I guess I just found her cute.      |

If you're at End of the Golden Witch of the VN like your manga updates are, then yeah you've not seen all that much of her. I couldn't say if her character will work just as well for you, but I guess I would call her the most human and dynamic character of the VN. She's obviously burdened by her past the most, and it manifests in ways that are very tangible and unfortunate. How being at the center of the media attention for the whole Rokkenjima Incident, yet being deeply lonely at the same time because of it changes her to the point of almost breaking her. I won't spoil anything but the payoff of her character and the closure she gets is nothing short of incredible. Do keep on watching friend :D |
