| I'm pretty sure Chitoge is on there because of a fresh salt mine. Kagura on the other hand is unforgivable. Why Japan, I'm happy Gintama is popular but not like this. |
| Kagura is the only Shounen heroine I really like!! Then again, she's prolly considered gross or something in Japan...she does pick her nose, throw up all time and isn't particularly courageous or honorable- well she can be, but it's not exactly a defining character trait lmao. Japanese fans seem to be way more into the kindred wallflower types of female protags like Hinata, Sakura (FSN) and Onodera...maybe it's a cultural thing?? Because Kagura is literally a mini Gintoki & he's one of the most popular male protagonists as far as I'm aware... Though one female protag I didn't like was Shiemi from Ao no Exorcist! |

| Well most of them are bland characters so no surprise, i would disagree with Chitoge being the 2nd but that's just me, i think the reason she is high on the list is Not Bad Japan, Not Bad. |

Eh. It's silly but I don't really mind the poll, especially since I already know how different our tastes can compare to Japan's. I think there was also that one article from a year or two back that had comments from the Japanese on MAL's(?) or some other western's site's top anime that was a pretty fun read too. |

| I got mixed feelings.... Sakura is by far one of the WORST female characters ever....so she absolutely deserves to be on the list, but she should be #1. Erina is a huge bitch....but that's what makes her good. And guess what? Soma should end up with Erina....she has the God tounge, and once she gets a taste of the D, she won't be a bitch anymore. (Erina had an AMAZING doujin in C90 by Hisasi, you niggas need to check that out!) |
