I'm not into idol anime so I don't know how good Sunrise does on that front, but I can say that compared to Buddy Complex Build Fighters is much better. |

| im so so so happy to hear this announcement. I still miss the first season a lot. I'd be super satisfied if the original group of characters returned but definitely do want to see new characters as well. This is the return of the gunpla mafia y'all, they are still strong. Also, do want more cameos please, those were the best. |

On average, if the unit is from a popular series of models(e.g Wing Gundam, Strike series, Crossbone series, Exia, Astray are examples for S1) then its more likely to get a remake. If its any of the lesser popular ones, then its entirely luck of the draw. Though by guess, one could assume that any new protagonist/antagonist character from S2 will be using a new line of gundams that were never present during the first season(so if the gundam in question had a cameo in S1, they are more likely not to get a new refresh mode for s2l(e.g Turn X, Epyon, Master) Since i Dont remember there being a Zeta Cameo(at least not off the top of my head) theres a chance but after googling it, A spinoff BF manga has a Modded Zeta as the main gundam |

Dude is literally one of those "only watch grimdark hurr durr" stereotypes. Captain Earth is the better mech anime this season M3 is okay still a bit too early for me to judge. Also most UC fans enjoy this since it provides tons of cameos with mobile suits, figurines, characters quoting from openings and famous UC characters, and past characters such as Haman Karn and Uso Ewin making appearances. Its a shame some UC fans on here refuse to watch it solely cause the character designs. This isn't like AGE its better okay cause it actually has a solid plot and is well paced. Plus the action and the OST are top notch for a Gundam series. |

| On the topic of mecha anime, for me the best one this season is Knights of Sidonia for reasons of tonal consistency, intrigue and having some form of clear direction. Daimidaler barely counts and is basically just fan service trash. Captain Earth is just disappointing but I expected that from the Star Driver staff that doesn't seem to know what its doing. M3.... I don't think I've ever seem a more unpopular mecha show in Japan. Satelight either needs to hurry up and get that new Macross anime out (I can dream of some other better mecha studio getting that license though) or just give up already cause man do they suck at this whole thing. Makes me just kind of miss this show, it was largely light hearted fair but damn if Sunrise didn't show they knew what they were doing when they made it and made the most of its premise. If it weren't for Polygon Pictures and Sidonia I'd say they are currently the only studio besides maybe I.G that has any clue what they are doing when making a sci-fi mecha show nowadays. By the way the idea of a time skip Aila is a bridge that should be crossed when it comes to it. I don't know how they can pimo that design anymore. She looks about as 14 years old as Feldt Grace back in 00 season 1 and yes that is supposed to be her official age while China was 12. |
