| i really love movies and manga thats why, i watched stream. well, i was waiting for something more different. however they just ripped off from the movie and made it an episode. even many scenes from op were same. my hopes, give them back! T~T |

| A part of me was expecting it to turn out as it did. A replica of the movie. This episode showed the first half the the movie and some scenes where cut and shorter than the movie. Still enjoyed it and have hope left in me. I hope they put more development in future episodes because this one of my favourite series. |

They butchered the series with an anime ending in the OVAs....... sigh The point to this is to stick to the manga, the OVAs is slightly different than the manga so it may be difficult to continue from there on. They're using most of the OVA scenes while adding some new parts from the manga and cut the anime-original parts from the OVAs so the story will be more in line with the manga. Now that the manga has more materials than before, maybe they're hoping to make a 2nd season of it if the sales is good enough. |

| Huh, surprised at how many are confused. It's literally just the movies formatted for television. Though there are supposed to be a few extra scenes that weren't 'previously animated', make of that what you will. |

But the brown guy isn't really in love with Sigyn and either Sigyn with him as I remember (might be different in the manga though, I've only watched the movies), furthermore Sigyn and Rygart it's pretty canon I'd say. |

I hope you're right, but judging from the trailer, I honestly don't know any more. Because in the trailer you can see (much to my approval, and my hype): However, Rygart can still be seen Also. The anime is also called in the official site "Broken Blade TV Edition", so it's likely they made a few changes, but given everything it seems very unlikely that it will be the manga in anime form. I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like it. Maybe some of the reused footage will be repurposed so that it's as it was in the manga....? I don't anymore. |

| I'm disappointed they aren't continuing where the movies left off :(. But I really enjoyed the movies so I still look forward to a remake following the manga closer. Good first episode covered a lot of ground. |

| Glad it's finally been subbed, although it's a real shame that KOKIA's OP song has been replaced with that boring, generic song. The ED song is nice though. |

| Hey guys should I watch the TV series or the Movies? Which is better, is there any difference? |
| In reality you should read the manga, but since you might be a anime person, stick with the Movies. No matter what anyone says the movies obviously has better animation, the TV serie might have some new scenes, but as a whole it will still be as short as all the Movies. Do the Math: 1 episode of 12 episodes = 24 min. 1 Movie of 6 Movies = 50 min. It might not be this linear, but it gives you an idea. |
| The opening isn't fitting, think the one from the movies was better. I liked it. It dives straight into the plot and characters aren't meeting for the first time. Natural interaction and relationship between them as well. Well, it helps that I watched the movies a while back and don't remember much at all. XD Still love the atmosphere though. |

| To those who haven't seen the movies, do yourselves a favor and at least check out their OP. It's waaaaaay better than this garbage OP... we talking "sending chills down your spine" better. Other than that, the anime itself is the same thing I've already seen for the most part. Will watch it to see if it'll have a different ending. |

| I was thinking of watching the movies but if the TV series is the same + something more I guess I'll watch it instead of the movies (or do I need tol watch them?). The fights between the mechs were average and the I have no idea what happened in their pasts. I guess at least the story is a little bit interesting and I'll keep watching to see how it develops. |

| I know you can't expect animation quality from OVAs but I was still a little disappointed. Even though it looks good for a TV series. But that's nothing compared to these shitty OP and ED songs. You can't put something like this there after what we got in OVAs. It's a real shame they didn't make a proper adaptation with OVAs and went for that dull filler middle and ending. Well, at least maybe this time we will see the real story and brilliant battle in the capital. |
