| I didn’t think Kai was a youkai, but it makes sense. I loved Natsume’s expressions in this episode. He has changed a lot since the first time we saw him. I still wonder how the writing can be so outstanding, it’s a slice-of-life, slow-paced and relaxing, but at the same time every episode is packed with so much character development… It’s amazing. Why does this has to have only one episode left?! |

| Great episode. I thought we're just getting another standard (in a good way) episode of the show with lots of characters involved but the twist at the end made it much better. But before that, just like everybody says, the overall ambience and atmosphere was magnificent esp. when they are in the flowerfield. The comedy is still there esp. when Taki and Nyanko-sensei is together. xD Ok, unto the last ep. :) |

| I don't really trust Natori, so I'm waiting to find out the whole story in episode 13. Any episode with Taki is a big win--Natsume should recognize that she is someone he could trust and develop a relationship with. |

| I felt that the kid was an Ayakashi, there are enough people who can see Yoakai already, for another one to get involved(that’s what I thought). Natsume was too naive for not thinking about this possibility. But I totally forgot about Natori whom’s appearance at the beginning was rather ghostly, so he really surprised me at the end. It’s good that he’s getting so much attention in this show, ‘cause he’s my favorite character there. It's great that Taki appeared too. |

| Glad to see Taki again this episode. Her and her adoring ways towards cute things like Madara :P Anyways, good episode. It seems that Natori knows that kid is a....you-know-what. Well, I wonder what his motivations are anyways. So glad Taki is back this episode though :3 |

We don't get to see Tanuma very often so I'm glad we did see him in this episode...even if he was just awkwardly sitting on a bench next to Natsume and Taki. I liked how Taki and Natsume hung out Kai, it was like a cute family! Although it wasn't too obvious that Kai is a youkai, I was a little suspicious of him (maybe because he has gray hair and everyone else has black, brown, or orange hair?). And I totally agree that you can easily tell that the shadow was Natori. He's almost always wearing that hat! There was also foreshadowing in the end of the last episode about his new task. |

| So that axe that was thrown at Natsume a couple episodes back was indeed that runt youkai, I assume. Didn't Nyano-sensei say the kid didn't smell like youkai? Perhaps youkai that look like humans carry a different scent or have no scent of youkai. Poor Sasada, Taki is getting closer and closer to Natsume. I actually like Taki with Natsume more than Sasada now. |

| I loved the foreshadowing from the previous episode - 'don't open your heart to an Ayakashi'. I wonder if a similar thing happened to Reiko? |
| For once an episode is not self-contained, and after a long time it revises Sasada and Tanuma a bit more in the narrative. pretty interesting story, that there was some strangeness in the events narrated, was immediately sprang to my eyes. I'm curious to see what will choose Natsume, very storytelling fun. |

| While searching for ghosts in an old mansion with Taki and Sasada Natsume finds Kai, a mysterious young boy trapped in a coffin. It soon becomes apparent that all is not as it appears as a cleaver wielding youkai stalks young Kai. Boy, Nyanko-sensei saves Natsume's ass yet again. He certainly earned that 200 yen. :D I know this isn't really that kind of series, but it's fun to ship so I can't decide if I prefer Natsume with Taki or Sasada. :D Yeah, I figured that was Natori in the hat, and Kai's story had a hole or two. Like there being no lock, and what was the promise he made that youkai? Will we find out in the finale? |
| Woah, what a twist! Spent most of the episode thinking Natori tried to attract the axe wielding youkai using Kai, since it looked like there was some sort of seal on the ground of the room where Natsume first finds the kid. Turns out it was nothing like that. I did find weird how fast Kai became attached to Natsume, I just hope he isn't evil. Also, this part here freaked me out: Anyway, I love Taki and I love when Nyanko-sensei transforms and saves the day, so I obviously loved this episode! Let's hope for a great season finale now, I'm sure it'll be great. |

| Pretty sweet having two double episode stories this season. This was pretty solid. Right as Natsume revved up that punch I starting playing OPM op in head only for him to finally get blocked. Feelsbadman. |
| Taki is back! Madara comes in with the save and showed mercy to that low level yokai. I was expecting it but what a twist. Kai is a Yokai. Natori seems so shady. |

Kai certainly wasn't acting like a regular youkai, and he didn't really act like he knew anything about the youkai world. Maybe his memory is wiped out as a human. |
