| I just unintentionally ended up watching a Chinese cup noodles ad.Who animated it - China or Japan? Seems like a lot of trouble just to advertise cup noodles and it would make even less sense if the original target audience are Chinese with the language being Japanese. |

Considering it was done using lot of reused frames and new voiceover from the original seiyuu, you can be pretty much sure it was done by Whitefox as side-work for chinese while doing the movies. |

| Huh... Well, it's a cool little detail that he used something he bought at the konbi in the first episode, but 2+ minutes is kinda too long for a commercial like this imo. It just kinda felt like it was dragging on instead of being quick and digestible |

a character that is roughly 3 times as beloved and adored as this emilia person. Idk why the chinese would pick a less popular character for their commercial when the objectively more appealing option is right there. I guess they either want to appeal to as little people as possible because they don't understand the purpose of marketing or just didn't do their research but in any case, it's their miss. |

That's only the case for MAL favorite characters list. Emilia is way more popular after her arc in LN. Rem might have won the previous polls, but Emilia won the recent polls in Japan. Furthermore, whitefox announces an OVA which focuses only on Emilia's backstory, Emilia is a main character in Iseaki Quartet while Rem is nowhere to be seen and the recent OVA highlighted more of Emilia and Subaru (plus the Chinese commercial). Therefore, it is evident who in fact is more popular in Japan. |
